Unfortunately service can really disappoint here. If you're a fan of the menu, it might be worth waiting through - but not for me.

The food is amazing and the staff is extraordinary. The Lamb burger is delicious as definitely get the French fries.
Great Caesar salad, quite different from most I've had.
Waited awhile for a table but let me tell you, it was well worth it!! Great beer selection and kind staff - I can't wait to go back and try something else!
Absolutely stunning! I made reservations for our group to celebrate my wife s birthday. We sat at the chef s table where I selected a whole roasted suckling pig for our group. What a delicious feast and an incredible dinning experience! Great service, great creative drinks and wonderful ambiance.
Best place to eat and have a one of a kind cocktail experience. The atmosphere immediately enveloped me, the food was delicious and well prepared. The bar staff was attentive and personable! Can't go wrong!
Gorgeous dark pub atmosphere. The black pudding and fried egg appetizer was great, but the short rib trencher (fried bread) was ludicrously greasy. Also, it is expensive for what you get.
british food and the scene here is super good. great food with quality ingredients. i will be back with my friends. it has an awesome feel to it. they have so many reviews for a reason.
Very lively hotel bar. Slightly upscalish. Great place if you are staying at the hotel.
One of the best burgers in NYC is the Breslin's Lamb burger. There is a unique combination of lamb meat with feta cheese. The fries are excellent too. The place is sometimes too noisy and busy, which may negatively reflect of the service.
Three words - Fried Chicken Feast! You'll need to make reservation for the fried chicken feast, but the trouble is well worth it. Be forewarned, the meal will probably clog your arteries since it's consisted of all sorts of fried, buttery, creamy deliciousness. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. I'll have to come back for their suckling pig feast next time!
Food: 5/5
Service: 5/5
Decor: 4/5
Noise level upstairs: "Can you pass the biscuits please? Thank you!"
Noise level downstairs: "Can you pass the biscuits please? No, the biscuits! BISCUITS!!"
Came in for drinks around midnight. Good cocktails generally but only savory food available no dessert.
Excellent "English pub"-themed restaurant with a great menu for meat lovers. Try the scotch egg!
I had the fish and chips here. The chips where thick cut, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. It was awesome would definitely come back for this dish
I rarely gave out any reviews for any restaurants but I am so sorry to do this; the place does not even deserve one star. The seafood was poorly prepared since fragments of shellfishes could cut your mouth. Staffs were rude and ignorant, I was there on Friday 10, 2016 waiting to be seated for lunch, lots of empty tables and I was standing for 5 mins. But this is the worst thing, they charged my card twice for no reason, and when I called to solve the problem, they did not even want to talk to me, they promised calling me back but never heard anything from them. I lived here for a long time and I have never seen anyplace to be aware to go to, This will be the first name on my shame-list
Went here for breakfast, and had the best full English breakfast I've ever had! The pork sausage was divine! Will definitely be back.
Really good food, good cocktail list (if a little weak on the booze), nice central location and friendly staff, although the waiter was a little OVER attentive.
great architecture. but the food is mediocre. ordered a bloody Mary... one of the least impressive interpretations I've had. way too much jalapeno in everything. had the Breslin BEC, it was sickening. covered in nasty cheddar and jalapeno totally ruined it.
Always tasty casual yet sophisticated. Great biz lunch spot
I went to this pub/restaurant for breakfast. The pancakes with strawberry were made to near perfection and the side of lamb bacon was excellent. Friendly service. The main downside was how pricey it is.
Top notch service. Bit loud, but good atmosphere. Had trout, slightly over cooked and over salted. But I probably should have gone with a meat dish which looked excellent.
Fried eggs and skirt steak. Eggs were a pinch too salty, but overall meal was delicious. Also had the French Onion soup, which is less tasty than the one at Maison Kaiser, but way more expensive. Scotch Eggs are a nice treat with a drink at the bar. Food and atmosphere is typically good (above average), but it's a tad overpriced for some dishes.
Good fun and friendly staff but lamb burger isn't as amazing as everyone seems to think!
We had the breakfast and it was ok. The atmosphere is nice and the service was friendly. The dishes were... Standard
The lamb burger is my favorite burger in NYC, and the triple fried fries with special dip are out of this world
We chose this place for our date night since we heard that April Bloomfield from Mind of a Chef was actually a chef there. My husband and I loved the place. Worth every penny and people were so welcoming too
The three cheese Sandwich is possibly the fattiest, unhealthiest, YUMmiest breakfast I have ever had.
Bloomfield is attaining near legendary status in New York, and The Breslin is one major reason why. It's hard to describe how awesome this place is. The cocktails are big, the wine list is fantastic, the food is off the chart.
The decor is like a subtle goof on an "authentic" English pub...but with cows. Lots and lots of cows. You can see the whole kitchen in action.
Being in the Ace Hotel, it has a bit of hipster trash action going on, but it's ok. The staff is very casual and makes everyone feel at home.
Everyone raves about the lamb burger. I have nothing much to add. It's one of the greatest things I've ever eaten. Dooo eeeet.
