I stopped for lunch at this place because it was convenient compared to my trip, and because it had good reviews, but I was not particularly happy: very dark pub atmosphere with very little light, just decent food, with some very negative things ( Caesar Salad is served with grated Parmesan cheese ... just to give an example). I would not recommend it.

Very nice burger.
Definitely worth the taste and the place is really good. It's fun to sit there with friends.

Charged a $60 administration fee to make a reservation. Which I realised when paying. Felt like a complete scam. Room was nicely laid out, food was ok, dessert poor. Service good.

Would never go back or recommend.

I went here for my 30th birthday dinner and we had a group of 10 people for the suckling pig dinner. I have to say that it was outrageously good. The idea of a whole animal on the table just elevates the meal a few notches not only in presentation but makes it fun as well. If you are adventurous you may try the parts of the pig head such as tongue, cheeks, eye balls, and brain. I tried them all and there was nothing strange tasting about it. You just have to get over the fact that it is not a traditional piece of meat. My only complaint is that our table was not ready for us for about a half an hour past our reservation time. Ill be back for their famous scotch egg and lamb burger

Visited on a jampacked weekday afternoon. Surprisingly, the noise level was tolerable. My friend and I found seats at the bar, which was awfully dark. Drinks are okay and prices are reasonable.

It is my favorite place to go after dinner, specially on thursdays evening. I love the menu and I have tested most of it, also the chef somethings offer things that are out of the menu which makes you feel at home. Delicious burgers of lamb and the blood sausage is supreme! Everybody goes back after their first time.

The lamb burger was just as good as I remember. The meat was tender, juciy, and done to perfection. The bun was crispy/crunchy to give a bit of a texture, but soft on the inside to soak up all the juices flowing from the meat. The thin sliced feta was a perfect compliment to the beautifully cooked meat. And let's not forget the delicious Cesar salad with layer after layer of perfectly and carefully selected iceberg lettuce, Cesar dressing, cheese, chunky croutons, and delicious anchovies. Definitely recommend.

The lamb burger needs to be eaten. It has the most amazing burger bun. They should start selling them. The patty is good but lacks flavor. The funny thing and which gives the burger the taste is the goat cheese.

Gastropub connected to the Ace Hotel, bar in the front, restaurant in the back. The bar serves 8 specialty cocktails and food late into the night. Nice ambiance to take out-of-town friends for after hours drinks. Also offers a unique experience with the Chef's Table group meal, which includes a whole roasted suckling pig that is broken down in front of you. If you choose to, you can eat the snout, ears, cheeks, eyeballs and brains! The meat is tender, salted well, and juicy. The entire meal, including sides, is plenty for about 8 people. You must make reservations for this meal.

The lamb burger is awesome and I used to love the bar curry snack mix (but they didn t offer it last time I was there). Overall the food and scene is great. The hotel is a hipster paradise.

This has to be one of the most wonderful places! I couldn't give a single argument against anything.

If you are looking for a warm and cozy environment with prestige service and taste then you have found the right place!

Last night friends and I had dinner. We asked a server to split the bill. She gave us separate bill with half the billing amount which was perfect.

However suggested gratitude at bottom of that bill was not half the amount. We took that gratitude $$$ as it was. So we added you 36% gratitude!!!

When you split the bill you keep the original gratitude. Very confusing, deceiving and totally unhappy about it. Hey Breslin, that is not a nice practice :-(

Lamb burger with the juiciest meat you can imagine (medium/rare); the right amount of toppings; great tasting bread and a smooth pinot noir on glass = winner! Great staff and service and good value for money. Highly recommended!

Good food and good service! I highly suggest the meatball and any pizza. Here's a tip...order the pizza with thin crust. The taste is out of this wine country world! Good is amazing! Go with an empty stomach.

We were their in the afternoon, food and drinks were good, 1st bartender we had awesome. He got off and the night one wasn't great at all we left cause of her. It was like she was annoyed we were even there to bad cause the place was fun until then.

This place was off the charts spectacular. We walked in not knowing anything about the menu and just started trying things. It was an awesome experience. Scotch egg, potato and taleggio toast, walleye with stinging nettles and snails...you ve got to be kidding. We literally licked the plate. All that and a bottle of Anthill Pinot Noir. Nick the sommelier...very knowledgeable. Fantastic time...don t pass this place up!

Great pub attached to the Ace hotel. They have a great selection of wine, cocktails and beer. The food is also good, as our large group sampled several items from the menu, which ranged from fresh shucked oysters to traditional pub fare. There is a fair amount of seating and the place is often crowded, given the location and connection to the hotel.

Place was cool, even though we saw many people looking like they were working on a Saturday night on their laptops. We had the grilled cheese, the mushroom sanduich and the smores desert ( insane ) along with some great drinks! Will def come back

Long waiting time nearly 1h 30min

Long waiting time nearly 1h 30min
The steak button like 10 $ but cost 150 $
So the user food is to expensively for there taste

Too long waiting times 1: 30h
Food far too overpriced for the taste.
It tastes better at the Pommesbude
For example: chicken for $ 33 delicious at the Pommesbude and a lot cheaper, fish salmon and not all bones were removed, fries fries ...
Restaurant undercooled and way too dark.
Shop is not recommended

My god ladies and gentlemen! The Breslin is absolutely spectacular and is worth every last penny. Thanks to our great waitress Selena, we were able to go through a large part of the menu. Make sure you hit up the buttery potatoes, seafood sausage and lamb burger, just simply amazing. The drinks menu is also purposely fitted to the food and we had a range of paired craft beers that sat really well with the food. Great spot!

The decor was nothing special, but when you sit at the chef's table, you aren't there for the decor. It's all about the full suckling pic, served up with a few sides, lots of drinks, and topped off with the eyeballs, brains, snout, etc. The pork was so juicy, and the skin so unbelievably crispy. It was the most sinful meal I have had all year. GO!

The Breslin is a nyc metropolitan pub. The setup is traditional and antique. The fare is well made and inventive. You may not be able to order a simple hamburger but the lamb burger will not disappoint.

Good spot for breakfast food - their eggs are great and filling! The ambiance is a bit too dark, especially when it s a nice and sunny day outside, but barring that it was a lovely meal.

Located inside the Ace Hotel the ambiance and food is perfect for a quick bite solo, with friends or on a date. There is a great upstairs area which feels more cozy than downstairs. The Lamb burger is definitely one of the best things to try and you won't be disappointed.

Stumbled across this place on google after searching for 'best breakfasts in New York'. I can say that after a week in the big apple, this was far from it! Ordered the full english breakfast which is served without toast so had to order this seperately upon receiving my meal. Waited around 20 minutes for two slices of toast by which time my meal was finished. Staff did not know what brown sauce was and didnt even bother coming back to the table to acknowledge my request for it. Only thing that was done quickly was presenting the bill but had to wait another 10 minutes to receive the change. Food was average but well over priced.

This is a great find in New York. For the Breslin experience, try the Curry lentils with poached eggs for breakfast. If you're there in the evening, try the lamb burger and their Scottish egg. The cocktails are also excellent.

The breakfast was great, at least in terms of food. The braised kale & lamb bacon were both really nice. The coffee was really well balanced and perfect for my taste. The waitstaff in general were friendly and attentive. The space was a bit cramped and tables were too close together, I just found one particular staff very inconsiderate while cleaning a table next he sprayed detergent over to my table and it totally ruined my meal.

Good food for British fare, but when staying at the hotel would be nice if they also had some standard American breakfast or brunch cuisine. The brunch I had of poached eggs with curry lentils was really good, and came out very fast. The service was very professional and nice too.

excellent bloody mary's served by people so cool i feel older than my 29 years. food is excellent and draws you in to ordering far too much (which you then eat to bursting point). service can be slow with wait staff running around like headless chickens, making people wait for a table when plenty are empty...and there's a no reservation policy. can someone let the staff know?

So the food and drinks were amazing . Great atmosphere for bar or sit down meals. One down side if sit outside of the bar counter the service in the bar area is subpar. Still suggest to go here due to quality of the food.

Truly one of the best lamb burgers in town. They make it to your liking and the service is outstanding. The fries are so yummy they're addictive. Tomorrow back to no carbs but today I eat carbs!

Takes a very long time to order and to get food, the wait staff is not attentive and have forgotten my order and took an hour for a burger and a skirt steak, truly overrated, the lamb burger wasn't that great, the steak a little on a hard to chew side and the the condiments were scarse not to mention the eggs were too salty to say the least. We will never come back: stay away

We wanted a table, but they said unless everyone orders a main dish (7 ppl in group) we can't do it. I thought that was a stupid rule and sounds made up, but whatever... ate at the bar instead.

The bar menu is all over the place, i didnt remember most of it. Ordered the lamb burger. It was really simple, only cheese and onions in a brioche bun. It was great, very tasty!
