Some people will complain about anything. I love this place and have been a pass holder since they opened. I go 3-4 times a week and just enjoy being at the bar or at the wave pool drinking a cocktail and listening to the reggae band. It's a mini vacation every time!

I am Grandma and I love to take and spend time with my grandchildren. We were there this last weekend and we re hoping for a great day I brought seven of my grandchildren and there were three adults . We had not even been there two hours and one child had all ready got stung by a bee and everywhere we set there were so many bees that you could not even enjoy to sit down and eat . Within the next hour we were leaving be cause we were under one of your canbanas and my ten year old was stung and is highly allergic we had to get him a shot and leave for the hosptial.. The eating area was not clean and the bees were not even being sprayed I no trash cans can bee sprayed even in parks Are day was ruined and everyone was upset. It s sad when a park don t take better care of things for there costumers. If there would ever be away we could get a refund for this day would be a blessing so the kids could have a great day , we don t have the money to wast to be disappointed
Went to the Beach Water Park for the first time with my family on my 14 year olds birthday. We had a fantastic time. We stayed from open until close. The lines were short, employees were polite, food and drinks were well priced. We will for sure be going back a lot more!!!
The lines are small and staff are young. The walk to the rides are kinda crazy how the wrap around everything and no maps to find where to go. I was playing in the cove little kids water area with my kids and the lift guard told me to knock it off. I told him this is a water park and if he don't like him job to find a new one. Like really I can't play with my kids in the water park with water. Come on the 16 year old kid has a lot to learn about life. The new and old rides are nice. The wave pool is cool too but like I said before you will have go and give your own opinion of the park. And it was cheap to get in.
Best staff however at times under staffed. Love the place and everyone is nice but at times it's hard to enjoy every ride if they don't have have enough staff to run the park
The kids had a blast its just the right size for all ages we will come back the lines was short for all the slides now the food courts was highly priced and the lines was very long took way took long just to get drinks but over all nice place to take your family
So glad We got a pass this year! I didn't think I'd be able to entertain Our 2.5 year old for long and there's plenty for Her to do! Love all the areas She can enjoy! I also love the lazy river and heated pool area! Very nice! We will definitely be getting a pass next year. My only complaint is that as a pass holder, I have to pay $8 each time I come. That should be included in all of the passes since We are all loyal customers :)
Didnt get to make it my wife and daughter have seizures so we didn't get to make it but from what I've heard the drinks and food r very expensive but it's a good place for kids I'll find out one day
Enjoy myself everytime I go.! Good clean waterpark. Rides are fun, lazy river is awesome, and the Wave pool still Legend. Plus the lagoon is really chilled.
People just be riding king island nuts because they have rollercoasters too.....but hands Down. The Beach Waterpark is better than kings island surf city. Factz
This is the worst customer service experience I have ever had. The high kid at the fast-food drivethru cares more about customer service than this joke of a place. I booked my daughter's birthday party, only to have them call 2 weeks before, when I had already sent her invites to tell me that they would not honor that date. No one ever calls back, acknowledges a call, and they refuse to do anything. An absolute nightmare!
For everyone saying it is a dirty park they have to understand that it's a sanded water park. You can't keep sand in certain spots. My only complaint honestly is the raging rapids. It's very dangerous. Other than that I was super impressed with the park overall. I have canceled my gold pass due to kings island being to crowded. The lines were short and staff was courteous.
My friend left his ID there and he has been trying to get it back and get into contact with people and no one will answer him. He went to the park and waited over 30 mins just to be helped and they didnt give him his ID. Someone please contact him, thanks.
Loved the laid back atmosphere...not uptight like Kings Island, nor as busy. Free water-not charging outrageous prices for "bottled" water. Have it setting out ready for anyone that needs it. Plenty of different areas. Only thing we didn't care for was the one bathroom location. Need more. Will go back.
Not enough places to sit. They allow people to drink until they get drunk. And they allow people to drink in the water around all the little kids. But overall nice place to go with the family.
Went to The Beach for the first time ever since living in Cincinnati for 5years and my first experience was very awesome and since I've been coming back whenever I have a free weekend. Going to the beach feels like a mini vacation, very relaxing to lay beside the wave pool, hop on a slide or two, grab a drink at the bar, very relaxing. The park to me seems just the right size not too big but also not too small, the staff has been very attentive and accommodating, overall just a good time, just wish I had purchased a season pass a while back but there's always next year. Not the real beach but close enough and one happy beach goer!
The water park itself is nice; the slides look fun but not really our thing. We enjoyed the wave pool and the water was perfect temp. Volleyball court was fun. Complaints would be that the park isn't very informative, not a lot of signs, directions, menus at food stands, etc. And the food/drink stands seemed very understaffed. Waited in about a 20-person line for over a half an hour because there was only one person taking orders.
It was nice. We went today, on a nice cool Wednesday. Not busy at all. Price was great. Food was priced well. The employees were nice. The pools did have some debris but there are lots of trees for shade so it's understandable the wind would blow leaves into the pool as quickly as they were cleaning them. I would give it a higher rating but they don't have any pads or tampons for women in the bathrooms.
I've been to better. Was upset with the fact we had to leave 4 hours early Due to an event that involved drinking and NO CHILDREN!!! AFTER driving 2 hours to get there and stayed in a hotel the night before to get a whole day out of our stay there. It was also smaller than what I thought it would be
Specifically came to this park for the Rapids. This is my son's favorite ride at the park. We drove 2 hours for this only to discover it was gonna be closed the entire day. Besides that the entire place is run down. It's sad seeing a place I grew up going to every year decaying. We had funnel cakes and fries that definitely weren't made to order. We also paid for the cabana along the wave pool in which the sand was littered with chunks of hard sand or rocks. I'm not sure what it was but it was the equivalent of walking on a stone driveway. Only about half of the attractions were open. At least 3 water slides, I'm pretty sure more, the Rapids and the lazy river. I've came here since I was roughly 10 (I'm 40 now) and this will be my last trip. It's sad to see this come to an end. I really enjoyed the park as a child. I also enjoyed the Rapids. It's been a good run but we'll look for another outdoor waterpark.
Live this park have been before. Not a fan of the changes made to the heated gratto. It is now a cold fancy kiddy pool and seems they changed the hours and close way to early. The Zipline was fun but the lack of harness made it feel unsafe and seems they did not have intertubes for the wave pool. The pizza was way over priced and the hard water drinks were horrible.
Horrible. Under staffed. Lifegaurds on there phones- not even paying attention. Too expensive for not having alot of slides up and running. They should take the 10 bucks per car and pave the parking lot. There was trash all over. No body that works there smiles... Sad.
Great time at the waterpark however the petting zoo is despicable!! The alpaca was sweating so bad due to not having his fur trimmed, the water her had was full of mosquitoes, green and had algae in it. He also had a big sore on his face/neck from his halter he had on. This place should take better care of their animals. They need Animal Control called but I'm not from Indiana. I have posted pictures but they don't compare to seeing it in person, very heartbreaking.
It was very dirty, 3 of the waterslides were closed. The bathrooms were Disgusting!!!! The lazy river was full of leaves, and one slide felt like it was going to fall through. I bounced on plastic! On a lot of the slides I got stuck, and I weight about 105 lbs. 2 of them had the water shut off, and when it turned on, the lifeguard was to busy texting to notice. On one a kid who was about 38in tall was allowed to ride a slide with a 45in minimum. The staff were just lazy, it was overall, besides the cliff, boring. One lady got bruised on a slide.
One star is really too much to rate. No water pressure at all on multiple slides. My children and I literally had to stand up and walk down them instead of scooting ourselves the rest of the way. Bathrooms were terrible and dirty. Every toilet over flowing when flushed. Whole park smelled like urine. Lazy river and wave pool were very dirty. You could literally see hair floating in the lazy river and had to pick it off of you when getting out. Don't waste your money. I know we will not be going back.
We got there about 1030 am took lest than 10 mins to check in. Waters clean, well staffed. Fun place. After 4 hrs. with our 2 grand girls 10 n 15yrs. We had enough fun.
It was so fun but it was also kind of scary because so of the slides were crazy. And when I was about to get off a slide because I didn't want to go on it the lifeguard pushed me so I went sliding down but it was fun.My favorite slide there is the Big Kahua I was scared to go on it but everybody forced me to get on it so I went with my friend and it was actually super fun.My favorite pool is the wave pool.I like the waves the best thing to do in the waves is swim in then it picks you up and puts you down it is fun.
We make a trip here every year and have the best time. It's always clean, staff is friendly, no long lines like the other parks. The food and drink prices are very reasonable!
Stood in line for food for over 45 minutes and counting. Over 3 rides are shut down. Kids running through the lazy river with no supervision and life guards not pulling them from the water. Curtains in bathrooms missing rings. Severely understaffed all over the park. Certain food places not even open. Trash literally everywhere. Parking lot is in horrible condition.
Wasnt the best experience. The heated pool and lazy river was full of twigs and leafs. Nephew lost his glasses in the lazy river and was telling the life gaurds about it and they seemed to not care. The life gaurds dont pay any attention to anything. The baby pool was closed for what reason who knows. It was all running. All the attractions were not open. I just feel like I waisted my money for my family to go.
Please stay away .The place is one big bacteria pool and slides are all closed down they rip people off and i will be make sure that this will never be done to another disappointed child that just got out of children hospital from a 4 month stay to come to this place walk all the way up the step to ride a slide to close it right as it was his turn stay away go across the street pay the little extra
First & last time visitor. Wave pool, didn't really consist of waves, but ripples. Waterpark wasn't clean, had leaves throughout walking & in the water. Trash wasn't removed from cans regularly. Rides were closed & a select few we're on a rotating schedule. Kids rides weren't even open, so my 7 & 9 year olds were limited. Kids slushy station closed hours before the park, along with another drink station. It was a waste of time & money for my family of 6 to even attend.
This is the worst place ever the mangers are very rude and disrespectful they took my money and wouldn't return it after we got a bad storm that day I would never come back here
Fun place. Was not crowded and we didn t have to wait long to get on anything. The entrance and the food counter however had long lines that moved slow. They seemed a little understaffed. Both the entrance and the food counter only had 1 employee working. Took over a hour to get a drink.
It was a slow day. Lots of slides were shut down. Staff was bored and tired. There was a ticket problem, I bought online 2 hours before our arrival and still hadn't received in my inbox. Frustrating. Take cash for parking otherwise they write down your card information, this didn't feel secure at all.
We LOVE the beach!! Kids have a blast. So do the grown ups...just as many adults running to the slides as there were kids...a great. Family friendly venue. Way better than Kings Island. Way less crowded, definitely feel comfortable with the kids there.
they do not answer the phone. they website will not show up saying it is unsecured or has been hacked. last year we paid for a family membership and they never did give us our id card.
It was a fun place to hang out. Allot of the slides and attractions felt like they'd be amazing if I was 10. I'd recommend it for kids 3-10, but if your looking for that amazing experience I'd suggest Kings Island or Soak City. I gave it 4 stars instead of 3 because the staff were sooo nice.
I took my 17 year old daughter and her friend as well as my 11 year old son there. We used the Groupon deal, which definitely made the trip even better costing us only about half of the regular price, plus 4 free drinks, and free zipline for four people. The zipline was fine, but I wouldn't pay a lot of money to ride it. The ride was fast (time wise) and really isn't very high. All the slides were open with the exception of one of them which is closed for the season. The Beach has lots of slides that will accommodate all ages. My kids throughly enjoyed their time there today. The food was good and not badly overpriced. However, the bathrooms were quite nasty. It looked like no one had cleaned them in days, and they definitely need a basic facelift in there. Otherwise, we had a great time!
This adventure Park is great in the fact that it is very well managed with friendly staff, nice attractions, and overall low prices on food and drinks but it is unfortunate that they are owned by Adventure Holdings. Due to an incident, I reached out to the parent company and was told that they don't know anything about what "The Beach" has to offer and wondered why that would be expected of them since they own 17 other parks. This is disappointing because as great as The Beach Waterpark is at bringing the Cincinnati/Dayton and surrounding communities together, this makes me believe that the guests funds for the park aren't necessarily being invested back into the park but most likely being directed elsewhere. I have never been to another Park owned by Adventure Holdings but after talking with someone in upper management, there and them having no knowledge of how their Park is ran, I can only imagine the other parks aren't being funded and supported properly, either. Kudos to The Beach staff for having to put up with that company. I hope that we can keep the park alive and afloat through many years to come but hopefully under new ownership.
All the slides were pretty much shut down. After paying 10$ for parking and 15$ For a locker, total waste and borderline theft from this place. We only got to ride one ride due to not enough life guards and did the wave pool. How is this place still open? Poor management!!! Don t go here for like one or two slides. You will pay 10$ for parking, money for a locker, and money for the park!!
Most of the rides were shut down, why accept paid tickets from patrons, when the swim park knows rides are shut down, most people left early. The common areas didn't look clean and no lazy river. I think the swim park should give me a refund for my 2 tickets for our visit on Saturday August 31st
We were looking forward to enjoyIng a fun day at the water park, but:
1. Three of the slides were closed on a Saturday. 2. There was a total of maybe 20 inner tubes on the lazy river, so after waiting 40 minutes in line, we left. 3. All of the lines were terribly long. 4. The three-slide ride was only allowing one person to go down a time, causing even longer lines. 5. Everyone s feet were burning from standing on old wood stairs that clearly hadn t been repaired or stained in many seasons.
We left after 2 hours.
With a just a little bit of effort and not much money, the owners could make that place a much more enjoyable place for everybody. By putting a little bit of repair work into the place and buying a few new tubes, the whole experience could be much better.
The employees were very nice. Best part of the park.
It s a little outdated, but is nice. It s not too crowded so you can walk right on the water rides and the food is good! I did like the variation of the waterslides.
This place isnt what is was 5 years ago, paint is chipping in the pools, the wave pool really dont have many waves like it once did years ago! Many attractions where closed! The arcade is a joke not at all fun 6 games where broke!! The leap frog pads are gone, the waterzipline is gone!! A ugly kid area took over that was closed dirty and un inviting! Just too much for what it is!! The store before was way way better too, now its nothing really!! Just a huge no!!
In comparison to kings island, this place is like a hidden gem. Busy at this place means you wait 15 minutes for a water ride (KI you're literally waiting 45-1hr). They have sandy areas throughout the park that gives you a beach feel. The bar area has great drinks and an option to purchase a cup for the year in which you can bring back for discounted alcoholic refills (it's a bang for your buck). Live Jamaican music most Sundays which really brings out the fun in people. This place may not scream "super awesome and fancy", but you can seriously get so much more out of your time and money here . The fact it's not overly crowded allows freedom to roam and explore easier and decreases anxiety when you have children with you. I gave it 4/5 stars because occasionally they have a ride of two shut down if understaffed.
I purchase a Beach Waterpark pass and a Kings Island pass every year- I only use the KI pass for roller coasters and the Beach for water access. My family and I go on average 2x a week and love it!
Dirty and in desperate need of an update. Hardly anything was open and the water was do low your butt hit the slide and the 2 that were open. Dont waste your money, especially when you can go across the street to KI
My first time there the pool got evacuated because someone puked in it too many of the slides were shut down I feel for the money we paid we couldn't swim in the wave pool and then half of the slides were closed really disappointed
Still some fun. Inexpensive compared to other parks, However this place is showing its age, and lack of repair. Some rides are never working, others sometimes are. Even the weeds are out of control!! Have fun, just don't have high hopes!
Lazy river is filthy, many slides have nearly no water pressure, people get stuck on many of the slides and have to scoot down. Water is dirty in some of the pools, and the staff is very rude and doesn't seem to care about anything. We complained to the staff about all of this and no one cared. Food is bad and overpriced. The bathrooms are also disgusting. The only decent thing we experienced was the wave pool. It's a shame the park is so poorly maintained because it's such a neat location among all the trees and it used to be so nice. But it has just gone downhill. Some of the things I can easily overlook, but the lack of water pressure on the slides is really the deal breaker. And I have seen many other reviews commenting about the same issue.
