One of the better water-parks if you like slides and things to do. It doesn't get too crowded if you plan accordingly. There is also a wave pool if you are more into that. We always find something to do. Highly recommended for something to do in the summer.

We've been going to The Beach annually for 12 years to celebrate my husband's birthday (minus the one year they were closed). Today, I was shocked. They were severely understaffed.. so much so that nearly half the rides were closed! The lazy river did not open one time.. the thing we look forward to most! The staff they did have were overwhelmed and I overheard some minors begging for their legal-required break from other staff! We waited over an hour for food from their main concession stand, which had one cashier, one food runner, and one cook! The entire park looked especially run down and it was incredibly dirty. Beer bottles left by the sand area near the wave pool, bandaids on walkways, toliet paper strewn everywhere in the bathroom. We have come here for YEARS and this trip was enough to convince us we need to spend our money elsewhere.

A really fun place to take the family! It's not overcrowded, prices are fairly decent, lines are not long, free parking, and they have a variety of slides to chose from. They also have a zipline ride but it cost $15.00 per person to ride, which is a little steep just to ride a straight line.

They serve beer and have several designated smoking areas for adults. Staff is friendly and helpful. The lazy rizer and wave pool is nice as well!

The cons: Arcade is outdated and most of the machines were out of order. Prices for tokens are overpriced and their selection of prizes are basic and small. The bathrooms/changing rooms were pretty gross, but all waterpark restrooms usually are. The park itself seems to be a little outdated and in need of updates.

Other than that, it was great. I will be returning.

It's been a number of years since my family has been here but they closed down our favorite section of the park. There is very little shade and not enough double tube slides for parents riding with children that are to big for the kiddie area but too small to go alone down the bigger slides. The life guards seemed unhappy to be here. The lines were reasonable and the bathrooms were clean. We will be going to a bigger park next time, where even though the tickets will cost more, I feel like I will get my monies worth.

Use the lockers, because the staff will move your stuff and lose it, and mgmt will say, "Sorry, don't let the door hit you on the way out."
Crystal at the ticket booth was awesome trying to help my family get our flip flops back or to make things right after staff members picked them up when the rain started. The rest of the staff had no clue and no interest in helping out.
I understand about the lost and stolen policy and them not being responsible, but when it's their own staff that touches people's belongings, yes, they should be held responsible! My entire family had to walk out of the park barefoot for the trip home.

I have not been to the beach in over thirty years. We bought season passes for the family this year. The park is amazing. It is very clean, the staff is super friendly and the food is good. There are also tons of lifeguards, so it is very good for young children.

Fun for families. No wait lines for slides! Lots of trees help keep the heat down around the park. But, there's lots of leaves and debri in the pools. Only 1 game in the arcade worked. Bathrooms were clean but, they've only been open for 2 days, so we'll see next time we go. Lots of lifeguards!!!! That's a HUGE plus! Season pass offices need new carpet and ceiling tiles desperately! Seems to be more adults that want to party versus families but, we were there on Reggea Sunday and had to take cover due to rain under the bar. So, may not be a fair assumption. Giving it another chance.

I was excited to return here having not been there since the 90s. Came to the park on a Saturday, and half the slides were "temporarily" closed down for the duration of the day. Big disappointment. Also they only allow you to float half of the lazy river. Employees acted like they hated life, probably because they are overworked and guests are upset with their management.

I enjoyed the time was there except the fact that the past 5 times I have been there, they are always understaffed and rides are shut down. Not as fun and enjoyable for a family like it used to be. And the lifeguards are always snooty.

Went to the beach on August 4, a lot of rides was closed, only one food court opened and at least 75 people in line. Bar was staffed by one person and it took almost 2 hours in line to buy a beer. I won't waste my money again. Cross this off my list

Waterpark very poorly maintained half the rides were broken or not functioning properly. Staff acts like they don't want to be there at all! Bathrooms were filthy. Leaves were in the lazy river, which it was windy so maybe thays why.

I had not been to the waterpark in a few years i know it was closed last year, so i thought i would take my 4 yrd old grandson this year. Besides the ridiculous price of parking and entry the place was complete Kaos. No one in charge but a bunch of 16 year old "lifeguards". Food service was way below what you would usually experience at a place like this. Kiddie slides and pool over run by bigger kids hurting little ones. the tube situation has always been a mess there and it has not gotten better only worse, long line to get a tube then longer lines to ride. Wave pool out of order, bathrooms a complete mess with no soap (hello employees washing hands there too). I look for them to go out of business again so save your money folks on your season pass. Miamisburg and Huber Heights have waterparks where the entry is $7 a much better bargain.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. There is not enough water pressure on the slides to even go down them. We ended up having to scoot ourselves down to the bottom of the slide. Even my daughter who doesn't weigh more than 75 lbs had to scoot all the way down. We encountered this problem on 3 different slides. The lifeguard told us we had to arch our back in order to go down. Really? I have never had a problem like this at any other water park. The lazy river was dirty and the bathrooms looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a month. The children's area slides had paint chips in the bottom of the slides. Staff was extremely rude for no apparent reason. Do not waste your money on this place.

Absolutely disappointed! My kid loves the waterslides and has a blast , but we rented a cabana for $100..... the sand is gross. There was hundreds of sand wasp , the chairs were filthy & on there last legs. They definitely do not go out of their way on the upkeep of those. The website makes you think you're getting a great group of chairs with a table ...... well that table is the size of a footstool. The little cabana girls are very nice and attentive though. But you aren't going to be able to relax with the bee issue. I'd sure love a refund because I was uncomfortable all day today but the paper said nonrefundable.
My son wouldn't come to the cabana to eat or relax due to the bees so i had to bring his stuff to a different location after paying all that.

Several slides were closed which I expected after reading previous reviews. A sign up front said they would "rotate" which ones were open but that never happened. Had fun on the ones that were open. Some staff very nice, some very unpleasant. Food/drink prices reasonable. Overall I think I would rather spend the $30 it took to get two of us in here and not have to wait in long lines than the $80 it would take to get into KI waterpark and stand in lines all day.

This would be an easy 4-star review except for one major issue. 75% of the slides were closed. Took my son on a warm sunny Sunday afternoon mid August and for the entire 4 hours we were there, they only had 3 to 4 (varied) of 12 or so slides open. Two of those that were open were the two biggest that my kid wouldn't go on, so we were stuck with 1-2 slides the whole time. There were a decent amount of people there too, so you can imagine what those lines looked like. What a mess.

If they had just opened all (or even most) of them, it would have been a great experience. As it is, I don't think we'll be going back, unless they'd like to offer 75% off for 75% of the park being closed.

Five of the attractions were closed (four slides and one children s pool). Not worth the ticket price even after the slight discount you can get online or at Kroger. Also, the pools had a lot of debris and leaves. I am aware it can t all be removed but it appeared there was little attempt to clean them prior to opening that day. We made our one and only trip-we won t be back.

It was a fun place to go BUT.... was VERY Disappointed when you couldn't bring in any kind of snack or drink. They only let you bring in a bottle of water. We had to go out to the parking lot to eat our snacks. In my opinion that is a CRAZY rule. They only offer pop, slushie, beer, mix drinks, tea. Which I don't drink. It was an extremely hot day and all I wanted was water. There pop cup is $10 X 3kids and $1 for refills. CRAZY. $20 FOR SENIORS (seriously) to get in the park. My daughter did get tickets cheaper on Groupon for her 3 girls and herself.

There is nothing quite like the beach waterpark! Such a cool, unique day with the kids! There is constantly new deals, specials, and events going on here! The kids love the character meet and greets & the teens love Club Splash! The beach waterpark never disappoints.

We almost didn't go due to so many bad reviews but I'm glad we went. My kids had a good time. Two of the attractions were closed but it was still plenty to do. Some things could have been better but that's everywhere. For the saturday carload price i say its well worth it! We would definitely go again!

Small and jammed packed. They need to expand the park and also the fact that the cost of parking is the same cost as tickets is concerning considering they dont protect anything if it happens to your vehicle or belongings

Easily the worst experience I've had with a company. I called and talked to Sandra Grove 3 times throughout the week and emailed once. I was told they would be open. When we showed up, they were, of course, closed. We attempted to get help but Sandra told us it wasn't her problem. I have never been treated so poorly by someone I've never met. Very short, terse answers and non existent customer service.

Not impressed with this park, the upkeep of it looks very poor could use a lot of work on it. Looks dirty there was trash all over, dirty water li es on the wave pool, needs a good cleaning. Also any water park i have been to i could smell the chlorine not herei cant even smell it on me so who knows how much they use if any. You got my 50 bucks this time but never again.

I am a Mason resident. See ads over and over on TV so I took my daughter and grand children visiting me from out of town to the so called the beach as a big rewards to the kids. There is no word to describe how I was shocked with the place -and sorry for other reviewers - but tickets are not cheap.
I am from Europe and have lived in the US for 20 years. THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST PLACE EVER. I even wonder how OH Health Dept did not give yet order to close it. Totally neglected, bathrooms to throw up, life guards kind of absent and sherry on the cake - if I can say- defecation in pools not worrying any personal around. Terrible experience on 07/15 - STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU STAY AWAY!!

Enjoyed the park itself. But the service at the concession stand was horrendous. It wasn't even busy it was in the middle of a Tuesday afternoon. I was told they didn't have the 2 fountain drinks of the ones I requested then watched him give the bottled version to another customer. Service was extremely slow and behind. Making my overall visit at the park frustrating and not giving me reason to want to come back.

My grandma passed away and she liked the beach more than kings island and I do too so here I give it five stars. I didn't go last year because my grandma got me a kings island pass. She did it again in 2017 before she died but now I'm begging my mom to go there at least one day this summer. Can I get a response from the owners. Can you plz clean out all the pools even if they are clean when you r closed. If you get hate comments about long waits that means those are great attractions and u should keep them. KEEP THE SNOW TUBING I LOVE IT. Thanks! In your response tell me if u r shutting down I hope u r not. Don't listen to me on this one if u want. If the reason that some of the pools are dirty is that I costs lots of money then take a chance and if the pools are clean the people will want to come and u will make more money. This is my opinion so u don't have to listen. Also just keep all the rides and pools. Send my family care.

The lazy river was closed because of "bad water". Half the slides are closed including the big red one near the wave pool. The life guards are barely watching the pools. The place filthy! I came on carload night with 5 people and still think I paid way too much for this. Kids are so disappointed!

This is our new favorite water park! The prices were reasonable from tickets to food. The park was extremely clean, lifeguards were attentive, and the setting was so nicely done intertwined with nature. I have a teen down to a 5yr old and they all had a blast at this park! My favorite part was that it was not busy. I am tired of paying a fortune to wait in line all day and receive poor customer service like other larger water parks. This was unforgettable and we will be back!

I really don't understand how this place is in business. The place was not clean, prices are outrageous and most everything was shut down. If you want to go to a water park, there are many better places in the Cincinnati area.

I was so excited to go here because this is the only summer thing I have done all summer. I get here and they're on a rotating schedule... on a Saturday! I mean come on. The last water park I went to was in Tennessee. I loved that when I wanted to take a break from the water slides I could go in the lazy river whenever I wanted. Here you get a time limit and not even the whole thing. What a joke. I said screw it and just sat by the pool. If you want to ride a slide better go before they switch to the next one. This place is just not worth it at all. I can stay at water parks for hours. Here it only took me an hour to get fed up and bored. Oh and good luck finding a tube! No really it's a nightmare. Maybe because my experience in Tennessee was amazing but I tried to have an open mind with this place but it just kept disappointing. And they had actual places for tubes! Where are the staff??? Never again unless I'm desperate.

Terrible experience. This park has gone straight downhill in the past 5 years. We went August 4th 2018 and It was near 90 degrees and was a Saturday. Do you want to guess how many rides were closed? One, two, three, four? How about FIVE. Absolutely unacceptable. They had Kroger and Walgreens group events planned and they can t have enough staff to have guards on the closed attractions. Or is it that the rides are actually broken and they don t want to pay to fix them. Either way I will never pay again to come back to this place. The bathrooms were disgusting. Also, as you might imagine every concession stand and beer stand was open. Avoid.

Not the greatest water park around, but definitely fun and not jam packed during the weekdays. Some attractions were out of commission and they closed some attractions early due to a lack of staff/lifeguards. Food and drinks..as with any amusement park, are extremely overpriced.

This place is pathetic. You have to pay a lot to enter the park to find that a lot of the slides were shut down. The place is dirty. Trash cans over flowing. (life guards) on cellphones instead of watching over their areas. Top it off. They have the nerve to charge you $10 to park in an unpaved lot... Wow!!!
