Beautiful place to take the kids Although I don't have any small children, my husband and I had a wonderful time there, in the Wave Pool and on the water slides! My only disappointment was that it cost an EXTRA $15.00 per person to get on the "Zip Ride" and almost $4.00 for a bottle of water Everything else was nice

Lazy river was disgusting and not cleaned, food took over 1 hour to order and receive as there was only 1 person on staff, and worst of all there was uncleaned human feces on a path to a water slide.

Haha, I do not even know where to begin. Most of the rides are not working, most of the arcade machines not working, the park is dirty, I also witnessed Park employee finding a child in the park wondering by himself and the staff decided to give the child to a stranger.

Very run down, all the decks need repaired. All the pools need resurfacing and cleaned out. Full of debris. Kid cove is a lot of fun but due to excessive debris in the pools it was hard to enjoy this place.

A little disappointed with The Beach Waterpark this year honestly. I d first like to say they definitely need more staff on site. I bought my tickets ahead so I wouldn t have to wait in line for a long period of time, not to mention only two people were working the windows and the line was backed up into the parking lot, a bit ridiculous if you ask me. I go into the park with my three kids to look for seating. It seems as if every year they take more lawn chairs away as well as lazy river rafts. There was barely any seating so in order for me to rent a cabana, I had to go up to admissions. Any other waterpark I have visited, there is a concierge inside the waterpark so you don t have to go back up to admissions. Guess what? I had to stand in the long line which I had earlier explained I bought my tickets online to be proactive and avoid but that was a waste of time too because I had to wait in line just to be told cabanas were sold out. No one knew what was going on in that place! So all the chairs look worn out and tore up, I found ONE lousy lawn chair and decided to stay at the park. The lines for food? They had a girl on her first day helping at the grill as well as taking on the cabanas. I could hear people behind me asking for the manager because no one was getting their food to their cabanas, it was just sitting at the grill getting cold and Occupying flocks of flies, not to mention I had already been in line for 20 minutes just to get a drink and popcorn. Why do that to a new girl? I understand being busy in a Saturday but this place is either being run under poor management or need some serious help staff wise and financial wise. I m truly saddened at how this place looks now compared to how it was when I was younger. I never understood why it closes before and today July 13th of 2019 has made it apparent as to why. My food order was wrong the girl undercharged me for my food then calls me back to tell me she didn t charge me enough but thankfully there was another employee there that just told me not to worry about it and got my order fixed with the right drinks and food. As packed as kings island is, I think I ll stick to that waterpark from now on because even with it being packed they are fully staffed and lines for food aren t 20-30 minutes long.

Parking: $8. Entrance: $28/adult. Locker rental: $5. Beer: $5-$7 each.

I had never been before the renovations so I can't comment on any changes that may have been made. The water was clean (it had a few leaves and sticks in it, which is to be expected). I had no problem with the service, it just didn't "wow" me. My only complaint is the insanely hot ground. The concrete parts were not too bad but anything painted in brown was scalding hot (the bridges, stairs up to rides, etc). I would highly suggest wearing shoes throughout the park.

$25 entrance fee per person. 3 water slides closed. Half of the arcade out of service. A drink hut that closes 2 hours before the park closes. Overpriced parking. How long until this place closes?

Great time with little one and family friendly. Able to have a drink, play with the little ones in the water or go to the wave pool or slides. Need signs to describe how things work for slides.

The day we went a number of staff members called in sick. The park worked hard to get every slide open as quickly as possible. It was toward the end of the season and relatively empty so there were no lines for slides, great experience!

We had a good time. 2 hours was plenty considering the size of the slope. Advertised 400 ft. was approximately 100 feet, was very disappointed. Had we not drove 3 hrs. for it, we would not have stayed.

A park that could be really fun, but half the rides were closed this past Saturday. Customer Service made a commendable effort to make things right for future visits, but still disappointed that so many rides were closed. Otherwise, had a very nice visit.

I work nearby...so i regularly fly my UAV to document the condition and decline of the property. It's currently well maintained landscape wise and graffiti free ! Hopefully someone will buy it...but with Kings Island right across the street it doesn't look promising.

LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!!!! I have been coming here since I was around 5 yrs old. I am never disappointed. I never get bored! We went yesterday and just us adults. No kids. (:
We had a blast! It took us about 4 hours to do everything, and there was no lines. Perfect day! They were short staffed, but they are still hiring more people, etc. It was only the 2nd day they have been open this season so it will take a bit for everything to go smoothly. (New employees training)
The only complaints I have are we couldnt do the zipline ride because the person who was operating it was literally no where to be found... the ride was open and they just kept walking off when people were wanting to ride. Drove me crazy... so we didnt get to ride that ride. Bottles of water are way over priced and you cant bring your own. The bottled water is almost $4.... the good news is they dont let you go thirsty. They do give you small cups of water for free which I think is great because a lot of places at least charge something. The lady named Melanie (not sure if I spelled that right) was very rude. She is a girl that works at the concession stand by the locker room. She is so rude, and always complaining. Everytime I seen her she was always in a bad mood and had to act like she was too good for her customers. Maybe she was just having a bad day... but thats unacceptable. She would get annoyed with us asking questions about the hamburgers. I mean... that is your job hun. Those are my only complaints. This place still deserves 5 stars. You cant go somewhere and expect it to be perfect. Every place has flaws. Their flaws are so minor compared to other water parks.
The water wasnt that cold, it was just right. The water felt amazing!!! all rides are open except the water coaster. They said it should be open within a week or two. They said they are waiting for a part for the ride to come in.
The food was fair priced and tasted great! The locker prices are a bit expensive though so pack light. $12 for a two bag locker. The parking was $10 and admission was $25 if you buy them on the internet. For just two people we spent $117. Thats for everything. I think thats pretty good.
All in all we will return. If we wasnt so far we would definitely get their season passes. Their passes are fair priced and totally worth it if you have a large family. Dont let the bad reviews scare you. This place is great.
The bathrooms are clean and I see people clean this place all day long. The water is VERY clean and tested everyday. The slides ARE OPEN & only one is closed. (And like i said it will be open soon)
I love this place soooo much, & compared to other water parks in Ohio, this place is by far the best and best priced.
Have a wonderful and blessed summer everyone.

Fuuuun

Definitely not what it use to be.

Definitely not what it use to be.
Yes, short lines and it's not crowded. However, it has became ran down. The pools aren't cleaned from leaves, sand, and other debris. As a season pass holder I would expect better. Those were not cheap tickets. I understand new comers are not aloud in during weather pauses, however as a pass holder. My husband, who just gets off of work should be alound in to join his family in the cabana that we RENTED/PAID FOR.!!!

If I could give them no start I would. Went to the beach waterpark Saturday August 18. Staff was rude bathroom were filthy. Only 3 slides were open. Honestly it wasn t worth what I paid. Don t think I will ever be back.

Took my family here today and it was awesome. My kids had a blast. The workers were nice and helpful, place wasn't too busy so we hardly waited for anything. The food was good, the park looked clean, and my kids were happy. We will definitely be coming back!

We are from out of town and we reads some horrible reviews about the park having multiple rides closed down and unsanitary conditions. However, I chose to call ahead of time to ask about ride closures. This is literally as far as I made it. I called and was greeted with a very quick and quiet "water park" which I couldn't hear initially so I said "Is this the beach waterpark?". The lady on the other end sounded annoyed and repeated "waterpark" about 2-3 more times as if I was incompetent for not hearing her. I literally hung up right there. Clearly the reviews about uncaring rude empolyees is not just a few bad experiences. I think I saved myself and my 4 year old a bad day at a likely awful park. We will be going elsewhere.

Opening day here and the water is full of debris. Yuck. The pearl pool is supposed to be warm and it's not. This place is showing its age. Regretting not getting a Kings Island season pass instead.

Two major slides closed, BIG KAHUNA KAMIKAZE.....was told Big Kahuna was closed all year. Why does the website not tell you this!!! Ive been to some community pools that were better. Its not worth going for a couple of slides. WONT be back. On a positive note, staff and food was great.

I was super excited when I found out the Beach had been reopened - I went last week and was not disappointed. They really cleaned up the park and everything looks new/renovated. Beer was surprisingly cheap too. I really hope they do well this summer because I'm definitely buying a season pass next year.

The snow tubing here was terrible. The lanes were slow and short and it looked like they just popped this up in a parking lot to eek some cash out of the off season. The waterpark is ok but the snow tubing experience makes we not want to return for either.

Perfect North which is about 30 minutes away is much better and you have the option to ski / snowboard if you like.

I only had fun here because I had to save face for my kids. In the grand scheme of things...they didn't have much fun either. First off...the bathrooms are GROSS and in need of MAJOR UPDATING and cleaning throughout the day. With how pricey things can get they should be able to afford a cleaning crew. #2. The slide/water play intended for small children is slippery and dangerous and pours out a tremendous amount of water after a while that is sure to shock any kid. There needs to be more lawn chairs and umbrellas over in that section for the adults to sit since we can't play on the water gym with our kids. #3 The lazy river type pool and the smaller pool towards the entrance are FULL of bugs and leaves. Instead of having so many lifeguards they need to add someone who has a net to scoop up some of the junk. The nachos are great but you only get a very little bit of chips. Lots of cheese, but I need chips to go with that cheese! The wave pool was fun. That was the only place where I was happy. I did like that the lines weren't long and the check in process was easy and the parking was easy. I will also say the band that played reggae music was very nice. But still..I don't see my family going back.

The park is o.k. They desperately need some new slides and attractions though. Slides are outdated and other than a few aren't really worth it. Place has potential they just need some new stuff.

2018 Update

Still no new slides. I want to like this place, just not enough to do here.

Only 1 restaurant open and over 2 hours to get food; 1 bartender for 2 bars and trash all over the place. This place has really gone down hill this year...its sad. This has always been 1 if my favorite places to take the kids...

No ATM on site. Bathrooms were gross. So understaffed that half the slides were closed.

I bought a voucher online expecting to skip the line, nope. Had to stand in a 30 person line to go through ticket office for entry.

That said, my family had fun on what was available to ride. There aren't too many steps for the slides and the wait times were typically less than 10-15 minutes. The treads of the steps, however, were in heavy disrepair and will incinerate your feet if they have been in direct sunlight. We had a breezy, slightly cloudy day when we went so it was mixed bag of cool to the touch and volcanic fire.

Other than general refurbishment and limited slide availability, we would still go back and do it again.

While the rides that were open were fun, there were a significant number of slides that were closed that poorly reflected the park on a day that a lot of new people would come (a carload of people for $50 after 4 pm). When all of the slides are open, I imagine that the park is much more appealing and operates a lot more smoothly especially if the park is fully staffed. If you go, don't expect for all of the slides to be open.
