RUDE AND NASTY!
WORST customer service I ever have dealt with! I arranged a birthday for my son and advised them over a month ago that we lived out of town along with our guest. We paid $187 for their "best" party package. Which was suppose to include a free birthday pass for the birthday boy which we never got as well. Once we arrived they expected us to wait for our other guest who were driving out of town so they could get the discounted rate that came with the party package! Which I was told wouldn't be a problem when booking and then told us to go ahead and pay their way in! Absurd!!! It was only 3 people the manager Melissa was incredibly rude ripped a receipt and threw it at us to write down the names of our 3 guest!! Then once my sister arrived the manager MELISSA was rude to her as well and the rest of our party! I don't pay for service like this and I tell you the rest of our guest were appalled and plan on writing a review on every site. Don't plan on wasting money on poor service this place is a dump Not to mention the toilets were overflowed with feces when taking our toddler to the restroom. $200 down the drain.

It could use some renovation, but it was a decent-enough place to spend a few hours.

Nice whether you're there as a couple or as a family, nice food choices and their affordable as well as nice beverages that are affordable also. And on Sunday they have a reggae band that starts about 1 pm.

Needs some updating. Looking a little run down. And they need more tubes for the lazy river. The lines were really long to get in and that was all we wanted to do there, but they kept making us get out at the beginning so others could get in... not very relaxing

Usually pretty awesome cause crowds all are drawn to kings island so that make this place cheaper with no lines

We used to love to come to the Beach Waterpark years ago. We brought our family today for $150 even after a groupon. Two rides were closed all day. At 3:30 5 additional rides closed down. None of the workers acted like they wanted to be there. We watched 3 lifeguards play on the phones versus watch the pools. When they moved from their phones they looked around the Waterpark versus paying attention to the swimmers. If my kids were not good swimmers, I would have feared for their safety. I could tell that the park is in need of major repair and staffing. We are very unlikely to return in the future.

Park had trash on the ground, went on 2 different water rides and same girl was on her cell phone both times when came up to ride the ride,one of the exit gates had 3 sharp nails sticking out of the door to push to exit, to many i Cline's, way too far to carry a tube, staff not helping people when in need of getting off ride and getting stuck, too many ,10.00 too much to park, unless hope saving up to make make improvements. Water very dirty, chair's very dirty. Sorry this wasn't like this when I was here before, would not recommend, just visited July 11,2019

We went Sun 7/1/18. We rented a cabana which was 100.00 to rent. When we got there, the girl had to move us to a different one, because most of the empty cabanas were filled with trash and disgusting. The best thing about the cabana was our waitress, I don't remember her name but she was awesome! She was very sweet, and very attentive. The rapid run ride was so horrible because the life guards would literally push people down one right after another. I was pushed into the poor girl in front of me and literally fell on top of her. My 10 yr old daughter scraped her back up all the way down the ride. This park could be so great if it were updated and cleaned regularly. Especially the cabana area, everything was completely trashed.

Had short lines and fun slides, but disgusting bathrooms.

It s a very low key Beach Water park. I love it because it doesnt get too crowded like Soak City does at Kings Island. Staff is friendly and upbeat only big negative is that I bought season passes for me and my mother in the beginning of June a little over $160 and every time I come more than half of the water slides are closed down therefore you can t even enjoy what you re paying for. Makes it almost pointless to buy passes that you fully can t take advantage of.

we make a yearly trip because the prices use to be reasonable and my family has a good time, but it is now very run down , need new painting and upgrades , 1st stop was bathroom since driving 2 hours to get there , Never in my life have I seen a bathroom so disgusting in my life ! Towels , dirty diapers and bloody napkins all over the floor yuck. Most Stalls were out of order ( and looked like they haven t had any attention in a while) one was a bloody mess after that I didn t want to stay , lucky we were all already dressed I sucked it up for my kids and husband for a little since he had the day planned out for us to go even took the day off. Needless to say I had to go down the street to Panera to get me and my kids changed to go home and use the restroom for our 2 hour ride back home

How long does it take you to get home from work after closing time factoring in all the drunk people?

Overall this is a fun activity for families. There are slides for big kids, and areas for little kids. It's not an overly crowded park, with short wait times for slides. Some of the staff were friendly, but one staff member was rude to customers, and complained about stamping hands for re-entry. It may be understaffed, or needs better training for employees.

Prices were perfect, Lines were short, rides were great, and the staff was friendly. Could use a little beautification, and repainting. Great alternative to Kings Island! Will return!

I'm so sad that we've come here four years in a row and each time instead of improvements we continue to see a business that's declining. Still understaffed, so the slides are always closed. Concessions are terrible. Cleanliness needs to be addressed, bathrooms need serious remodel (that's one of my biggest issues). I know it's a long standing business and my daughter LOVES this place so we don't want to see it go under but they need to start listening. Three years in a row her favorite slide closed...... Every time. Let's hope something changes before next season. We will try one more time and again hope for the best.

This place has certainly seen better days. They definitely need to invest in a pool skimmer. They have a few decent slide, but overall, Kings Island's water park is much better

There was a bit of leaves and detritus in the lazy river and the lifeguards didn't seem to be bothered enough to keep the empty tubes from blocking up the path. Several of the slides seemed to need higher water pressure to keep you from stopping in the middle.
The food was pretty terrible, the chicken sandwich tasted... weird, and they charged .25 for a mangled slice of tomato. The chicken tenders were very greasy.
All of this being said, both my kids had a great time, especially in the kids splash area and the wave pool.
My recommendation is to go after lunch and leave before dinner.

It's a cool spot to go to. The place is a little bootleg but if it's hot and you're near cincy it's the closest beach Lol!

Took advantage of the Saturday car load for $50 4-8pm. Great deal, kids had a fun time (teens - toodler) was also the perfect amount of time at the park. Enjoyed the Beach more than Soak City.

Needs more slides and bigger pools wave pool toliet bowl biggest slide in world need ton be there.

My family and I had a great time on Friday 7-27-19! This has been an annual trip for us and we even upgraded to a season pass this year.
They allow water shoes, which is awesome! Park was clean and the staff was helpful and attentive.

Okay for the price we paid for admission but most slides was closed

Really fun place The Lazy River was my favorite part the wood bridges get really hot on bare feet though so wear flip-flops and eat before you go because the food prices are really really expensive and the lines are long slow staff

Great place for kids of all ages. Way better than the one across at Kings Island.

Major need of updates and repairs. We do like that it is not over crowded.

This was the best experience I have had with my family! It literally is a mini vacation day. The Lines are short staff friendly and prices for drinks and food are fair. They have a live band and u can drink a ice cold adult beverage while chillin at the edge of the wave pool . This place is like Paradise.

We are SO disappointed with this place! We bought a season pass last year for 2013 and this year 2014. Last year was hopeful, this year, a big waste of money. We have visited four times. Two of those times, the toilets were not flushing!! The bathroom floor was disgusting, the response from the staff was " we are aware of the problem" Half of the slides were not open. The heated pool so cloudy, you couldn't see the bottom. The rapids were so low on water that staff was pushing us through. I am a small person and was bumping the bottom, it is very dangerous!!
The staff clearly don't want to be there.
I will not waste my money next year and will not recommend it to any one!

Paid full price when several attractions were closed or not working

Love this place. It's small enough for kids to be able to walk around together, but has plenty of rides and attractions. We love hanging out at the wave pool listening to the live music.

Great place to take family and stay cool but make sure you get your ticket online.

The beach waterpark was great! All of the lifeguards were really nice and polite.

Needs two concession stands open at all times.. We know it's not soak city but like The beach... so more open stands please lines to long....

We brought our 2-year-old here and the mini water play section was truly perfect for her age. She didn't want to go home. I loved it here because it isn't as busy on a weekend.

After my experience with the manager and how poorly treated for our sons birthday and our guest!! I will NEVER go back to The Beach. They should of just stayed closed. Worst customer service. The bathrooms are disgusting. Your likely to catch a disease if you go to The Beach for warning!!

Quite a few slides were closed permanently and the place was dirty. On the plus side, the staff was extremely helpful with everything. I'll give them another chance.

Drinks and food is pricey but i had a great time. The park is clean and the employees are friendly. More than i expected at first sight

Bought tickets online took my son and his friend. Very disappointing half of the water slides were closed or closed early lockers are over priced and I thought the park would be bigger.

The day I went was a perfect day, didn't hardly have to wait in any lines, and the staff was helpful.

Great Waterpark when the temps reach 90 and just 1.5 hours from Columbus!

I haven't been here in years. It brings back memories of when I was young. I took my daughter for the Banzai Thursday. Not a bunch of crowds for this event, which I like. Great price ($10 a person) for the 3 hours(4-7)! We went down almost every slide and the lazy river. Best part is the wave pool!

Could be a goldmine resort like Waterpark but it's not yet. Its still a wonderful place to go in the summer. Chill, layout, rides, the beach is a great hidden treasure I hope to see reach its full potential one day

I generally take my kids every year and we like the slides, this year was the worst! Only 3 slides were open, the wave pool only operated for about an hour and food was bad. I pay a lot of money not to be this disappointed. This will be our last year going, I wouldn't recommend wasting your money.

Some people hate on it, but when I heard it was closing for 2012, I was really sad.I'm 13, and live near the beach waterpark. This park has brought so many great memories to me. What I will remember is that it was a great park, and I was saddened to hear it was closed

The park was cute but I was injured at the park and have called them many times trying to talk to a manager so that no one else geys hurt and no one will return my call.

It was ok.. Only half the rides and food was open.. Or they would close one to open another

Perhaps it was the time of year. But half the rides were closed. We were told when we got there that they switch hourly but they never did. Was really looking forward to the Lazy River but it was closed all day. Bought tickets for the zipline but it was broken down all day never back up and running. We did have a good time with what was there and the kids had fun. Would probably not go again unless I called first to make sure everything was running.

First impression is run down. Like surf cincinnati but still a water park.

Great staff, friendly people, and Live Reggae on Sundays keep me coming back. Season Passes are reasonably priced..and there's beer! :-)

I've been coming for years and have made several longtime Friends as a result of my visits there.

There's a kiddie section for the little ones and plenty to do for everyone else. I would definitely recommend a visit.

Drove three hours only to find out there park was closing earlier than stated on Facebook. Still paid full price, no discounts for half a day of operations. Staff at ticket window was rude when we asked about the cost of tickets. Ordered pretzels from snack window and were over priced and rock hard. Not worth the cost of ticket and the drive.

I haven't been since I was a child. Both of my girls birthdays are in June so I decided to take advantage of a birthday offer early March of this year. We had a party of 11 kids and 6 adults. We had an absolute blast! The park is big enough for an entire day of fun yet small enough to be able to find everyone if separated. I would buy a season pass here over kingd island. Much less expensive and fun for all!

Half of the rides were shut down, the pools were dirty and disgusting. They have clearly slipped a lot! This used to be my favorite park to go to, but now it is horrible! I will not be going there again.

Always lots of fun and something for everyone to do.

Great place but it needs an update, a lot of stuff seems very old, you can usually guarantee at least one slide will be down.

We love the water park! 2 of the slides weren't in operation on our visit unfortunately, but still plenty to do. Food and drinks are always delicious and reasonably priced. Never more than a 5 minute wait for any ride. The staff and lifeguard's are always helpful and very nice

If you could give negative stars I would. The staff lies about being under staffed and that they will open other slides during the day. They closed the lazy river which is super popular and claimed the chemicals were not balanced yet that is filled by water from all the slides they had opened. I will never go back to the beach again. Would be worth paying more money to go somewhere else.

Admission isn't too pricey and the slides and attractions are really fun for the most part. The entire waterpark feels like it's in dire need of an upgrade however. Things don't feel quite sanitary either. Visible animal traps along the lazy river didn't help. It's a good time for what it is. But don't expect anything all that nice.

Better water park than kings island has, but kings island also has the roller coaster half

Bought tickets ahead of time, had to wait for 20 minutes in the purchase ticket line because they didn't have will call open or a scanner at the entrance. Less than half of the rides were open, and the park was severely understaffed. Perks: it was pretty dead for a Saturday so the lines for the five rides that were open were minimal.

Never been here before. Even though it was the last day and the employees didn't seem to thrilled I still had a good time.

This was the worst water park I have been to. The staff were unfriendly and not very helpful at all. The water rides looked rundown, not enough water pressure on one of the slides to push you down it most of the people that got off of this same ride bottomed out your butt would actually drag the bottom of the slides and then you would get stuck. Maybe if you have little kids it would be ok, the water was dirty in the lazy river.dont let the pictures fool you I was not impressed at all. And I usually don't give bad reviews but I was very disappointed 6/10/17 to top off the evening we got something to eat and the burgers and fries were good but my daughter ordered a salad and before she started eating it she noticed something in it and it was a big piece of plastic, so I took it back to the counter and showed it to the lady at the counter and asked how did that happen and she said " oh it's probably from the cheese that they put on it". We just got our money back for it.

Ordered our tickets online to visit the park on 8/10/19. Drove two hours to the park and used our online tickets to get in only to find out after we purchased a locker for the day that half of the park was closed due to a pump issue. Nobody said a word while walking in. Then we had to wait in a line that we bypassed to enter to try to get our money back. This place was great back in the day, but today was a train wreck

Absolutely NOT worth the money. Half of the slides were closed along with the lazy the river. Terrible, will never go again.

Called ahead of time they said they were open all day drove 2 hours and the park was closed not too happy was not even raining that hard lied to me on the phone telling me they were going to be open all day or else I would have never drove 2 hours from Gallipolis Ohio

I would of give it a lower rate if i could. It was understaffed and the staff that was there was rude. The women bathroom was very nasty. I had a birthday party there and found out my host quit during the party. I will never go there again. Not even worth the money I spent.

Only 4 rides were open with at least 4 shut down. Lazy river and warm pool were dirty and had a lot of leaves in them. Overall a pretty bad experience. I hope things can get better because I've had better experiences in the past.
