Modern, tasty and well presented food, washed down with some fantastic wine. All complimented by great staff and wonderful views.

Probably one of the worst restaurants I have been to, ever. The menu looked great on paper, although a bit pricey but would be expected considering the meals that were offered. However, the food was disgusting - it seemed all pre-packaged or frozen (I had the salmon as a main and could not finish it), starter was mediocre at best and the vegan cheesecake barely edible. We were sat at one of the worst tables in the place although I had requested a nice table with a view over three weeks in advance for my partner's birthday. I am shocked by the good reviews for this place because I can never return again - the menu, prices and expectations are simply dishonest. The atmosphere was bland (no music, lighting, and could hear everyone's chitchat). The only positive is the view but that's only if you're lucky enough to sit at a decent table.
had a table outside- what great views- food as usual was superb - service excellent
Honestly. Not what I expected.
It was a rather disappointing experience. The view is probably the best part, so if you don't mind rude, slow, and practically disinterested waiters then give it a try.
The issue started when I was served frozen burrata and when I sent it back, was rudely told this is how it's supposed to be. They did however take it back after I insisted the insides should not be icy. I then received a melted buratta which someone had clearly just either microwaved or put under a heat lamp. Having at this point given up, I just ate half of the favourless dish. Only redeeming fact was that after I mentioned it again they removed it from the bill.
Next up, the service. There seemed to be far too many people standing around and no one actually doing anything.
- We had to ask 3 times for bread/ butter
- No one was coming to clear plates until we asked
- We started our second course before anyone even asked if we wanted wine or more beverages. Not the service level one should expect from this type of restaurant.
In short: if you're expecting a good experience from a pricy restaurant, save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere.
Delicious food, wonderful view, but prices seem fairly high.
Beautiful views of London Thames side from the restaurant , seating area is really nice , staff were friendly, 3 course winter lunch menu was very delicious, really enjoyed the meal and ambience, but definitely advice booking table as can get busy , highly recommend !
They eat great, they have a super good treatment, they never forget you, the water is free, they always fill the glass, they have a cloakroom but you leave the salary!
The selection of food and drinks at the Brasserie offers fantastic flavors that compliment the incredible view of the Thames.
Excellent food, attentive staff and great wine list. View was non too shabby either!
Great views and service! Would recommend booking in advance...
Took my best mate here for his birthday hoping it would be special. Sadly I was disappointed. Tables too close together so there's no privacy. Food was ok but nothing special. For what I paid I expected a lot more quality. Ambience not too good despite the great views along the Thames and St Paul's in the background. I won't be going again in a hurry!
Great mains. Highly recommend ravioli and the English white chocolate tart
Do not go near the bakewell tart, its harder than an african aunty from the stone ages. 'girls must not be seen, dear'
Great service
Great location
Great views (not on a gloomy day)
yes we did go on a gloomy day
Welcoming and helpful staff, amazing food and a great atmosphere. Would recommend for special occasions.
Excellent food and service to not speak about the wonderful panoramic view!
Food above average, service was a little slow but the view made it all worthwhile. Took some colleagues there from the US and they loved the skyline view at night
We had a wonderful night at OXO celebrating my birthday. The service was excellent and the food magnificent. The wine list was impressive. I think it was 30 pages with just wines! Good choices of champagne and prosecco by the glass as well. Whenever our glasses were close to get empty they were quickly refilled during the evening. We had a variant of mozzarella and smoked salomon as starters and vegetarian lasagne and duck breast as main course and some chocolate for dessert. Everything was lovelly presented and wonderful to eat. We got fresh roasted almonds, never seen before! Mushroom paste, fennel and lot's of interesting flavours. All in all a very nice experience. Oh, I forgot to mention the view! Fantastic view over the Thames and London from the terrace! We will be back. I can warmly recomend this restaurant, you won't be disappointed!
The best steak in London I completly recommend this place. Remember if you book a table try to ask for the terrace, you will enjoy the amazing view to Thames.
The restaurant is fabulous, I recommend Chateaubriand, it's in delight
A really great experience here. Great table and really good food. Would recommend a visit.
Limited vegetarian options, all of which were heavy on the cheese. Food was still quite good though
The views alone are worth the visit. We booked in advance and asked for a table near a window in advance. The staff were friendly and courteous and helpful in selecting from great choices on the menu. The steak was flavorful, and the wine, along with cocktail options were refreshing.
The restaurant is on the top floor. There is an open terrace on the side from which you have the view of the Thames.
The food was excellent and so were the dessert and drinks options. Reservations are required.
We were a group of 7, and tried quite a few dishes and loved the food.
Great service, excellent cuisine and great views. Can you ask for more?
Visited the OXO tower event space for an networking corporate event I was attending and the views are truly spectacular. The space was large, spacious and accommodating. Team on site were professional, attentive and friendly. Good sized space for conference with break out areas which can be converted for any use.
Good food. Awesome views of the City and the river. It is not expensive.
Great place for a special occasion . Wonderful views over London
Overpriced and then they tried charging us for very expensive wine that we didn't have. We were a large party of friends out to enjoy ourselves and to spend well earned money. Unfortunately we were rushed in and rushed out, so it was fairly uncomfortable. Wouldn't recommend for a large party.
Wonderful light and airy atmosphere with attentive staff and good food. It isn t cheap but the views are wonderful. Treat yourself!
Good food and location...apart from lack of sun....
The top of Top..A sublime view and a high quality meal in a prestigious place
Went for our daughters grad lunch fabulous staff soo lovely
A place where you can truely appreciate the beauty of Thames and London! Enjoying a drink, a nice chat and the view. Been several times. With customers and friends. It is a great treat.
Brasserie: Awful service (cocktails arrived after main course, no water after 5+ requests). Food worse than average pub. Great views.
The view is great, wonderful terrace when the weather is nice. In the evening in the brasserie it was so loud that we couldn't talk at the table. Thereupon transferred to the restaurant. Ambitious kitchen here - too many tables for it, the dishes at the table too quickly. Good but expensive wine list. Service in the end inattentive. Food ok, in the details a little careless .. partly. only lukewarm.
Would come back for drinks in nice weather, not for food.
Sadly lacking in personal service... having been here many times before this was by far the worst service I have experienced. Food was okay nothing special and far too overpriced must be the view we pay for!! Disappointed
Wasn't really impressed with the food, but I loved the dessert! However I wouldn't return.
Lots of cool things and food in a great location right near the Tate.
Loved it. Service fabulous and food delicious!!!! Xx
Fab brunch and very reasonable price for the location and classy feel. Cocktails were fab and views over the river were lovely to enjoy
Gone downhill. The view's still nice but tables and chairs instead of leather sofa's not the same as it was. Very expensive too for school canteen food.
Superb, I love this place, breathtaking views, small price for lunch
Been here before and recently due to work 3 times in 6 weeks. Service is consistently average at best. The view is obviously good... The food is average to good no real wow factor so again another restaurant where the view inflates the price of the meal.
Had a team Christmas lunch here and overall the three course menu had a decent selection.
I'm a fan of the lamb with truffle potatoes. I think perhaps the chicken was a little underwhelming as all those who'd ordered it seemed envious of the nicely pink lamb.
The staff were fine. It was a little robotic and we were asked to ensure we were out in time for the next sitting but realistically I come here for the lovely nighttime views of London. This is my second time here (previously here a few years ago) and I think overall I found the experience a little better this time. On food alone this place is probably at 3/3.5 but the views give it that extra wow factor.
Great food, pretty pricy, but good, fresh food! Great views. Had the three course meal, fairly affordable, have no clue what the desert was, but was delicious!!! Service was fantastic.
Delicious food, fantastic presentation! Lovely location. Great views along the Thames. Friendly staff.
My favourite restaurant in London. Excellent service, delicious food and very accommodating to food changes/ modifications
This restaurant is another revitalization project which turns an old warehouse to a creative center with dining facilities located on top floor. It has an amazing view where you can enjoy the sunset at the bar for a drink before dinner. The staff are all very nice and willing to offer you all the necessary advice you needed. Will definitely visit again in my next visit to London.
Great food, excellent service and ambiance - lovely evening and a great start to my Birthday celebrations.
Great music,Good wine ,Lovely view and really good atmosphere
Absolutely amazing place. Amazing views over the Thames. Great food and wonderful attentive service
Fantastic menu, great and attentive staff and awesome wine list. Oh and the view
Lovely food and drink. Quite expensive but worth it
Great place, stunning views - went for Christmas Party, very packed, but well it was Christmas! Food delicious!
We came here for our staff Christmas do. The food is excellent. We had a really good time and the staff are attentive without being overbearing. Expensive but what do you expect at the Oxo Tower. Will definitely go again.
Brilliant iconic building. Returned and now full of funky shops and a few restaurants. Food is nice and fairly priced. Great views and nice park next to the tower if you wanna sit outside in the summer.
Lovely overall location with the South bank and London Eye and Westminster and the houses of parliament and royal festival hall. List is endless of great places to see if your in the area.
No parking but plenty of buses and tube stations around.
Nice market next to the park. Lots of funky stuff for sale with few snack stalls. Plus a handy pub across the road.
Loved the place and amazing views. Attentive staff and fabulous food. Fish and Chips is excellent, as well as the burger, and cheaper than other places in Gabriel's Wharf which are not as good in my opinion. Will be back to Oxo Tower again soon!!!
Upon arrival the staff took us to our table outside on the rooftop terrace, after handing us the menus we saw a woman was vomiting over the balcony (like heavily). I went to alert the staff since this is not normal, but they didn t really care saying if you don t like it then come inside which seemed really rude and as if this was a normal thing. I don t think such actions should be handled like this, sick guests can be kindly asked to use the restroom not the balcony. Seeing that we wanted to leave they told us we can have a seat on the other balcony, which was nice but still our experience was ruined by seeing and hearing someone throw up like that next to us. The guests represent the restaurant itself!
Really nice atmosphere, professional staff, nice food and excellent views
A little pricey for the quality of the food, but undeniably a unique location for date night.
It
was amazing experience and great views of London.
Excellent service and 5 star food. The view is amazing! Loved their rhubarb and pistachio dessert. Worth a visit if you're in London, just don't forget to book a table in advance. High class overall. I definitely coming here again!
If you want the full experience of fine dining after an afternoon at the local museums and galleries, look no farther. This fancy restaurant is situated on the 8th floor of the OXO building just a short walk from the Tate Modern gallery. It's also right next to a charming little park where you get a full view of the wharf and all those gorgeous Victorian-style buildings across the way.
Despite the typical London chill, I would recommend sitting outside so you can have a lovely view while you munch on pricey bites and sip on even pricier booze. Speaking of booze, you have your pick of the litter. But being an adventurous drinker and eater myself I always like trying something a little different, so I went with their Vanilla Chocolate Malt which is made with Vanilla Vodka, Almond Milk, a Mozart Dark Chocolate spirit, Vanilla Sugar, and Malted Milk. Yes, it's amazing.
I wanted to feel fancy too though, so I tried their Mushrooms on Toast with a Goat's Cheese Mousse. I have to be honest, it was pretty underwhelming, but points for health value.
Their entree menu is super small, but pretty well-rounded. You have a few salads, like the Quinoa and Beetroot salad with Cashew Cream; Batterd Fish and Chips; a Beef Burger with all the trimmings; and pasta dish to round it all out. If you come during the brunch hours on the weekend, they offer an English Breakfast plate, Waffles and Bacon, and Eggs Benedict.
Again, you will probably pay a hefty sum for all this, but the view alone is worth it.
Excellent food and views. Slow service stopped this from being perfection.
live music was good. the view is good during the evening!
Went for my boyfriends birthday dinner and the atmosphere was gorgeous, of course the view too. Food was excellent and tasty, starter and main!!! But unfortunately the service was cold, not wat I expected at all. Bar staff were much more genuine. However will most definitely visit again.
Good food, a bit pricy but no more than you'd expect from a restaurant like this
I organised my lunch wedding in the A La Carte restaurant. Excellent food....excellent service. ....excellent wedding cake. ....will return for my anniversary.
Great views and great food. Good for a very nice dinner as well as casual coctails.
Great food great atmosphere and amazing views. Bit pricey but worth a visit
Inredibly slow service. Condescending staff who are way too busy chatting and laughing to each other. It takes 20 minutes to get the bill and 20 more for a card machine. We asked for water and got a bottle of Harvey Nichols water that was More
Had dinner at OXO Brasserie. The food was great, the view amazing, the place lovely and the staff very attentive to our needs.
A place I look forward to go back again during my next trip to London.
