Lovely setting. Food good too. Service good.
Lovely setting. Food good too. Service good.
Acoustics poor due to extensive glazing, hard tables and stone flooring. And once the live music commences, forget romantic table talk. It's shouting.

Nice place if you are out to impress your date. Chose an afternoon meal for a better view outside.
Have a drink with a view on the Thames and London city. Beautiful establishment.
I thoroughly enjoyed my meal here. While some might say that the decor is a little stuck in time I actually enjoyed the fact that it wasn't ultra modern. The very, very blue bathrooms did throw me though.
The view from this restaurant is spectacular and on a sunny day sitting out on the balcony and enjoying a cocktail is a lovely treat. Their desserts aren't really up to much but I thoroughly enjoyed the rest of my meal.
Well worth a visit.
A very dark place where phone are required to read the menu. Bookings for tables with views of the river We were told not available. The prices of food was london prices and one of the meats was served well over cooked to what We ordered.i would not go back again.
I loved this place becuase I could not see the office of the mayor of London the single most useless person on the planet.
Good view and good food but too busy, too crammed and the service in this case really pushed to order things we didn't want before we even settled in. A good place for a couple of drinks but definitely not a great place for eating out.
grotesquely overpriced, no doubt because of the view. i wouldn't go there for fine cuisine.
Great first visit to the OXO Tower, the food & wines are amazing
The food was excellent, but the brewery was extremely and unpleasantly noisy. We went on a Friday night which may explain why all the tables were busy (better book in advance) but the atmosphere convinced us not to linger for dessert. Fortunately, the setting was friendly with a beautiful view of the Thames and the staff could not do enough for you. On the price side, the rating was adapted to the quality of the dishes and the service (12.5%) automatically included. To visit if you do not fear too much noise ...
Very good food and view. Live band on the evening which was good, however we were sitting right next to them which was a little too loud.
Excellent food, and a fantastic view! They dealt with our food intolerances easily, and were very helpful and friendly. It you get the chance to go, make sure you go outside to get the full impact of the view
Great table, great view, great service & delicious food!
Nice place with a wonderful view on the river. Good quality sea food with a great choice of wines. Recommended.
Fantastic food and service as always. This is a restaurant where I would bring any friends who visit London, it s right in the centre and offer an amazing view.
In this occasion, I was treated here by my friend. Everything from the starter (pork belly), mains (sea bream) to dessert (posset) was an absolute delight. I just wish I can come to restaurants like this everyday.
Nice restaurant for lunch or evening dinner. Great light and open restaurant with great views of the city. Reasonably priced for central london.
Great food from a well priced set menu. Friendly staff. We were moved to a window table for desert. All that and a world class view.
We dined at the Brasserie OXO Tower for Sunday Lunch celebrating our Daughter's 50th. The food was superb, the staff were so friendly and professional and the view is great.
Awesome - great wine and service. And, of course: What. A. View!
3 words - spectacular, sophistication, excellence - define Oxo Tower restaurant. The view of the river is fantastic and unique. The atmosphere puts you in a relaxed mood. Having drinks and food from the balcony enhances the social dining experience. The service is excellent. You would not want to leave. I highly recommend this restaurant.
The view, the food and atmosphere are great. Really enjoyed it!
Expected more, but it was okay. The waiters were very supportive as you can expect for that sort of a restaurant. Food was fine, nothing special just fine.
Had a lovely lunch with friends. Great live singer. Shame the weather was awful and we couldn't appreciate the view
The food is always fresh and tasty, employees gives fantastic customer service. I liked how neat it is and vibes. I highly recommend this spot.
Classy: friendly staff, amazing food, stunning views.
Great view of the Thames river excellent food and great staff
We ate in the Brasserie. Lovely meal as always, staff so efficient and helpful as always. It was also a sunny day and the view over the Thames was very pretty.
Great food great place to escape the noisy streets and have a lovely dinner. The food is fantastic as younwould expect and the service is excellent without being intrusive.
Felt the prices were too high for the quality of food delivered. A location, providing a sought after view, should not be the highlight of this dining experience.
The food is not especially interesting or impressive relative to its price, and service is a little formal and overbearing. So more or less what you expect from a restaurant with a view.
Excellent meal with daughters and son-in-law impressed for 60 birthday meal views of Thames by night sublime only wish the weather would of held for June and a terrace table as planned
Nice views, diligent service, so so food, somewhat overpriced
5* restaurant experience, with the price to match. But all in all an incredibly memorable evening. Definitely find time for cocktails on arrival, they're a must have.
A spectacular venue with gorgeous food a fantastic gin and tonic and wonderful music.
Slow service 2 hours to serve two dishes ignored booking tried to seat us in appalling seats ruined a chateaubriand by cutting it away from table gone massively down hill!
Fixed stage as I go to London, aperitif or dinner with a splendid view of the City
Didn't like the food very much. However the bar is good so is their outside balcony.
Very good food... a little on the high side, but worth it.
Just super awesome
A slightly better restaurant on the 8 floor with a great view over the thames to the London city, the service is
first class
Good food, great personnel, nice views on St. Paul's cathedral, Walkie Talkie and Blackfriars Bridge
Excellent service and delicious food. We were lucky to be seated outside and enjoy the beautiful views. We particularly enjoyed the scallop and langoustine ravioli starters.
Very average food compared to Harvey Nichols' restaurant in Edinburgh, which is almost Michelin star quality. Also, some tables of other diners were constantly using their mobile phones - fair enough, use it to take a few photos but don't stare into it all evening or take loud calls. Spoiled the atmosphere somewhat, so the head waiter should take a line on this as others now have in London's better restaurants.
Had a lovely lunch on Monday at the Brasserie for a special occasion . Attentive and friendly service. Good value on the set menu, waiter offered a menu that had the ingredients on as my partner is lactose intolerant. Also removed and replaced diary on the dessert .Great views over the Thames.
Great staff and food very accommodating with dietary requirements
Superb memory in this establishment when we came in February to celebrate our 9th birthday, idyllic setting, gourmet meal, excellent flavors. I highly recommend this restaurant when you come to London, I go back with my eyes closed
Excellent food and attention as well as beautiful views of the City.
The OXO Restaurant and Bar offers a sleek setting for a delicious meal, the modern well curated interior offers both indoor and outdoor dining on the small elevated patio balcony. Views from the restaurant sweep along the Thames River which provides a backdrop for more formal dining than other local restaurants.
The menu is quite expensive when presentation, flavour, and quality is rather much lower than other popular eateries. During my visit I found service to be competent, and efficient. The staff, host and restaurant supervisor did not feel warm and welcoming. Their approach lacked authenticity or a genuine interest in our experience.
I would recommend this restaurant for couples or small groups that are seeking discrete, private dining. Though service and staff may be a bit robotic it shouldn't dampen your evening too much.
The wine list is extensive, with knowledgeable staff on hand.
Great view, food not bad either. Unfortunately the occasion was spoiled by patronising waiters who told you you had to be out of there in 2 hours because your table was needed (it wasn't). They scurried around doing everything they could to hurry you on, removing plates before others had finished. Waitress couldn't serve wine (she had had no instruction at all). Had several pats on the shoulder from head waiter to say: that a boy, gobble up and go! What a contrast this glitzy London restaurant for yuppies is to one in France or Italy, where you can take your time.
Food was very good as always but felt that the service had slipped a little. Was having a business lunch and there were a number of occasions where we felt a little ignored. Our lunch for 4 took much longer than we expected and when we pressed the staff or the bill it took 3 asks and 10 minutes to finally get it. As I say food was good, service not great
Instead of letting us go to London Eye for a long time, we chose to use the money for this restaurant visit. The restaurant is at the top of this house and you have a nice view of London and the Thames.
There were a lot of staff running around all the time which could be a little disturbing.
The food was excellent, thought I needed to order potatoes because it was not included. It was absolutely unnecessary because there were a lot of vegetables and lentils / beans.
Quite expensive but the view may be worth paying for, especially if you can sit outside.
Should you be sure to sit outside you have to book a table.
A luxury and opulent restaurant with amazing birds eye views of London, delicious food and one can order Don Perignon by glass not just by bottle
Went for lunch at the brasserie. Nice ambience, service was very friendly & prompt. Food was overpriced for both quality & quantity.
It's worth every penny. Beautiful view of the city and amazing food and service
Fantastic panoramic views of the Thames and the North Bank, with prices to match. Couple of interesting bottled beers available.
Enjoyed the food very much.
A little noisy near the open kitchen, the restaurant tends to reverberate due to hard surfaces everywhere.
The view was amazing.
Fantastic night for my daughters graduation. Food and service is fabulous.
This is a great restaurant, with an interesting menu and friendly service that doesn t interrupt your enjoyment of the meal. Great views, some of the best in London.
Dinner at the restaurant was really something, hosted on the 8th Floor, the view of London was great! Very attentive staff but in the most unobtrusive way. Food was worthy of the price and the service attached!
Everyone's talking about it as though its the place to be and amazing!! The food I would give 4 - 5 stars but the overall experience was dreadfull they had so many tables and chairs in their you can hardly move about maybe it was just on this occasion. If they removed a few tables this place would be amazing at night! But saying that in quieter times I can imagine it being a lot better experience, but I can only be honest on my experience on a particular day and time! But still worth a go!!
The perfect place for a romantic or family restaurant, good food, the staff is very attentive.
The view is magic.
Very good staff The food is very good, not everyone can afford
The view is the show stopper here! We came across this place while searching for a veg friendly place for a friend who was visiting. The food was great with a very busy ambience. They have a very exhaustive wine bar for wine enthusiasts. The entrance to the place is not that impressive and we had to look around for a while till we figured it out. Would recommend this for special occassions as this place is expensive.
I visited in 2011 and the views were amazing...food portions were tight though and having no halal options (at the time) is why I've rated what I have
Lovely view of the river from the terrace. Food was very good. Staff were attentive and knowledgeable about the menu and helpful with my friend's food intolerance. We went to celebrate two birthdays and they presented us both with plates that said happy birthday and had candles in ice cream. Nice touch that we appreciated.
Arrogant staff made the whole experience of my first visit to the restaurant totally unpleasant. Felt very uncomfortable. For me, a good attendance is a must for luxury restaurants such as this one is supposed to be.
You even got a beach to enjoy lunch on a sunny day!!!
From the word go of booking the Oxo tower it was everything I asked for .Sitting out side over looking London was fabulous .Staff excellent from walking in to cooking and waitressing .Food excellent, as well as a good wines on offer a bit pricey but was expected and worth it ... 100% lovely .
