My girlfriend booked a surprise 50th afternoon tea. From the moment we arrived the staff couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome. The views were great, and as it got darker and the city lights came on it got better. The choice of different teas was great, and the food was an absolute delight. They even came out with a personalised treat for my birthday. I would definitely go back. A big thankyou to all the staff for making our afternoon such a pleasure.

What an amazing place with the view! Great service, never saw such a friendly stuff as here, high kitchen en sophisticated menu. A bit expensive but it's worth the money. highly recommend!
I will not be returning It did not meet expectation at all It was my first time there Tables were all congested, I felt like were packed in like sardines The food was ok The coke was flat! We kept having loads of food flies bothering us throughout our meal (note we were sitting inside) At the end of meal we discovered that the wall directly being us was covered in food flies (nasty) We notified the manager, at first they did not appear bothered They only reacted when we identified our disgust and that we would not be returning Their response was a free bottle of wine We declined we just wanted to leave as soon as possible!
Spent the evening in the OXO tower for a friend's 40th birthday. Cocktails on the balcony were excellent, my Negroni was exceptional. The pork loin starter was exceptional, as was the beef main course. We will definitely return.
We visited the OXO Tower restaurant on a Saturday table booked for 19:15. The place was very busy so a nice relaxed dining experience with our son wasn t on the cards. The management packs-you-in to maximise on the revenue, or so it More
Original location, if booked in advance you may get a window table overlooking the river. Food wise it is a correct restaurant, large menu with original and traditional dishes however slightly expensive. Friendly staff. An experience to enjoy.
Booked a Sunday lunch here and had a wonderful meal helped by the enormous cocktails! Views down the river, we were inside so we're not able to comment on whether the outside tables were in or out of the wind but the people outside seemed happy to be there. Menu was great and the deserts to die for. Made more special for the live music playing all through the lunchtime period, will.definitly go again.
Almost perfect. Fancy and sophisticated. We have been welcomed nicely and with great professional attitude. The menu is conceived with open mind attitude between tradition and fantasy, and the dishes are satisfying and great looking. The meat was delicious, all the food was great and the price was worth it. Only critical point was the service, little bit too slow, but the restaurant was full and busy as well. It s worth the experience. We will come again.
We went to the restaurant and the food was great, the staff were extremely attentive and the view across London was lovely. A bit pricey but worth it as a treat. The bar next door was perfect for a nice cocktail after too.
Had a really lovely time having tea to celebrate my mum's birthday. Delicious food, all made in house. Service and atmosphere perfect. Views amazing. Highly recommend.
Upmarket Restuarnt with great reviews. Staff friendly and service was faultless. The portions were filling and about right. I had the lunch time set menu. Great value for money and would highly recommend.
For a special occasion it is fantastic! The service is second to none, the food is out of this world and the views are brilliant! It was expensive however for a one off I really didn't mind. Was a wonderful evening and would certainly go back!
Visit this restaurant at great summer day, sitting outside with light wind and sun, viewing the beautiful surrounding of Thame rive, enjoy the great food with friends, what more can you ask?!
Somewhere definitely worth visiting at least once when in London. Reservations highly recommended as it was very busy when we went which was early evening (17:30) and walk-ins were having to wait a while.
Views over the Thames are very good, even better if you're seated by the windows. Those seats generally are tables for two, which makes the place an excellent couples restaurant.
Double birthday group celebration.... excellent food on a nice varied menu. Only fault was I asked for a river view but wasn't successful....was tempted to steal a star for that but we still had a great evening so will not be petty.
A regular due to price, location and views. However, don't expect amazingly great food there, it's... good enough. And potentially to some overpriced. I go there regularly because of the location and brilliant cocktail bar, it's great to entertain out of towners and easy to get to.
Not cheap, but great value for money. Food, service and views are fabulois. Place to go for a treat and if you have a lovely sunny evening (or lunch) then try and get table outside. Highly reccomend.
OXO Tower features a high-end restaurant, brasserie, and bar. The restaurant is a lifestyle experience crafted by Harvey Nichols. A place to see and be seen.
The OXO Burger is a luxury take on the burger featuring a bun loaded with poppy seeds + sesame seeds, pickles, Monterey Jack cheese, crispy bacon, caramelized onions, spring mix, and juicy beef. The blend of ingredients creates a very satisfying flavor, and the beef is pretty juicy and flavorful by itself. The flavor profile is well balanced. It manages to highlight each ingredient with a taste that changes from first bite to chew to aftertaste. This makes the burger a very exciting experience for the taste buds. It s hard to call any one ingredient stand out on this burger, but my favorites were definitely the bacon, onion, pickles, and cheese (I liked almost everything about this one).
Compared to the best burgers in the world the only thing holding this burger from easily being near the top is the bun. The abundance of sesame and poppy seeds did not seem necessary, and the bun was a little dry. With the addition of a pillowy soft bakery bun to this burger it might be the best in London. If you need an afternoon drink, or a place to impress a date OXO Tower is the place to go. While you are there enjoying one of the best views in London also try one of the best burgers.
Difficult to reserve a table by the window but the food and service are usually excellent. My other half asked for the gluten-free bread though and half an hour later, had to ask again. When it finally turned up, it was very disappointing and not quite what you'd expect of the Oxo Tower. However, you can normally guarantee a good evening at the Oxo Tower.
Nice location and view. Had the vegan after noon tea which was not as nice as the previous times. The sauces were missing and the scones a bit overcooked. But it's good to have the option.
Yum! Did I say YUM! Wow this was a perfect evening. The food was delicious. Atmosphere was romantic. Views were spectacular. But it was little pricey, but worth the cost. If you decide to try this restaurant make sure that you're making a reservation for the actual restaurant and not at the Brasserie, which is located next door. And reservations are absolutely necessary. It's located on the South Bank in London which is a really happening area, so afterwords can easily enjoy some of the local bars or just walking around and enjoying the scenery.
I went here on a beautiful summer night. It should turn out to be one of the best meals I have ever eaten in my whole life. I'm deadly serious.
The service is on point. We were seated inside first and told the guy we would appreciate him seating us outside as soon as some spot gets available. 20 mins later we sat on the beautiful terrace overlooking London.
The Chateaubriand was probably the best meal I've ever eaten. The meat was so incredibly tender and tasty, I never experienced something like that before. The view is priceless and the staff professional and friendly. This place is on point.
You can't beat the oxo tower for the view....it's spectacular and this is reflected in the price of the dishes. Service was OK but food seemed to be below average and basic in the brassiere . It's almost as if the kitchen doesn't really need to try given the outstanding location which is a bit of a shame. Chicken and fish dishes along with shared starters were very plain and uninspiring. The cocktail menu and variety of drinks was good although my young son ordered a chocolaty milky drink which obviously flummoxed the staff and had to be sent back.
The rooftop OXO Tower Restaurant, Bar and Brasserie has proved a dazzling success since opening in 1996. The iconic Restaurant, lively Brasserie and unique Bar all boast stunning views across the Thames and the City of London with a 250-foot terrace and floor-to-ceiling windows
My steak was cooked as requested but I wasn't blown away by any of the food. However, the wine menu was positively extensive and the cocktails were enjoyable. I couldn't help but feel that we ultimately paid far above the odds for an experience we didn't really feel and a view which couldn't be appreciated from our table. I'd expected a renowned London fine dining restaurant to stand out from the crowd but unfortunately it just blended into it.
Great view, good service and decent food - Got here at 630pm before the crowds and left at 9pm when it had filled up. Welcome was pleasant, and service good from the start. Starters came surprisingly fast, and were OK. Mains were good and generous and desserts worthwhile. Good for the view.
Very nice atmosphere and tasty food. The Staff were very attentive and we enjoyed our meal and the live music, (female singer and male acoustic guitarist).
