It's OK. Drinks weren't special and the view is also not much better than in other places along the Southbank. After 7 years in London we gave it a try and clearly haven't missed anything.

We have visited a few times. Great food, service and atmosphere. A good balance between feeling sophisticated but still an element of casualness.
When we went there were live music. Casual jazz, made the evening feel special. The views from there are wonderful.
The menu a good variety.

Food tastes fantastic, and service was superb. The star comes off for the value of the meal. Little details, like the temperature difference between items on the dish were a bit strange. Great experience, just a bit too expensive.

It's very high quality food. Nice view onto the river. Erm, but when I went we weren't allowed on the terrace. Good food but very pricey - they also made me feel special on my birthday. Very good service basically.

We did enjoy the Oxo Tower, But I do have some criticisms. We had booked in September for a birthday meal for my daughter, who has a cows milk allergy. The waiting staff did not fully explained that the allergy menu could be made without More

I had dinner in the brasserie, enough good food but not enough compared to the prices, very helpful and kind staff, but up to be stressful. Very nice the possibility of having a personalized dessert for your birthday. Spectacular view, slightly noisy environment. I do not think I would go back.

View: Great.

View: Great.
Food: Not so great.
Cocktails: Good.
Service: Great.

Verdict: If you can sit on the balcony on a nice day then it's worth going. Otherwise I wouldn't go for the food alone.

We were meant to have a code discount for hospitality, but they scammed us and forced us to pay full price! Won't be returning! Also they lost our booking. Extremely poor. Would not recommend. Food was also mediocre at best!

Excellent dinning experience. The food was excellent and for once as a vegetarian I didnt feel short changed. Service was attentive but not stuffy. Overall the best meal I've had out on London for a long time.

Tuesday 16 May - lunch at The OXO Brasserie - three old and dear friends getting together and we so enjoyed our lunch sitting at a table looking out at great views of The Thames, St Pauls etc. I had booked our table on line asking if we could have a window table and it was with such surprise and delight that we found ourselves sitting outside on the terrace. The weather was warm, the food and wine were absolutely wonderful and we were well looked after by our waiter and staff. Big thank you to The OXO Tower for an amazing experience. We will be back!

We were having dinner one night and the truth is that I cannot say that there was any detail that I did not like, the delicious food, the impeccable attention, the very warm atmosphere, the prices are a little high but really worth it, the location, the view of the Thames and the city and only that pays the bill.

We went to the Oxo Restaurant to celebrate my husband's birthday and we were not disappointed. The food and drink was fantastic but above all other things the service was truly 5 star. The waiters could not have been more attentive without being intrusive and they really made our evening special. If you have an occasion to celebrate go there!

Boyfriend surprised me with dinner at Oxo Tower and we had the most incredible time. We originally booked a table via OpenTable only to find out that our booking hadn't been made. Despite this, the staff still sat us and made us feel welcome, with our waitress Melinda taking really good care of us. The food was amazing, with Melinda reccommending the chateaubriand, which was the perfect meal for the both of us. At the end of our meal we were really surprised when Melinda brought us dessert especially, as we had told her it was our 5th Anniversary. She was an excellent waitress and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Would definitely visit again!

The highlight of the Oxo Tower restaurant is always going to be the view. That's not to dismiss the food or the service, just that the view is that spectacular, with huge windows on both sides, overlooking the Thames and south London.

It's gorgeous and almost an event going there just for that. That said, the food is very nice-- definitely on the stylish side (starters included Devon crab with sweetcorn sorbet, for example), very pretty and very much rich-without-realising it, in that we were left looking at the petit fours and wondering if we could manage just one.

The service was good -polite, friendly- and the whole experience was plush, so the biggest downside, as ever, is the price.

Really disappointing meal. View good, starters good, potatoes excellent. There it stops. Chateaubriand and mushrooms, meat was 'just ok' and the mushrooms had SO much grit it was totally inedible. Waiter didn't care and they weren't More

Beautiful location, lovely staff, and excellent food. I booked afternoon tea for my mom and I and we had so much fun. The cocktails were so incredible and the view was awesome! Great experience!

Perfect location especially if you have dinner on the outside terrace.
Impeccable service. Excellent meat dinner. Prices related to the location. The only discordant note but customary in London clubs 12.5% service.

Beautiful views. Lovely cocktails. Romantic location. Easy to find as has Big sign on building.
A little too pretentious though with the assumption from some waiters that because they working at an iconic restaurant/bar they can lord it over customers.

Very good food and view. We were lucky to get a window seat. It was my dad's birthday and we pre-ordered a little cake, which they forgot. But to make up for that we got a mixed plate of all their desserts, and a round of free cocktails! What a delight. Can definitely recommend. Only downside is that it's a bit loud.
