Great place and good shows all year round. One of the important place to visit in Melbourne. Good for all ages
Great venue, helpful staff and an excellent production in the form of ballet; SPARTACUS.
Really beautiful pieces and you can explore the permanent exhibits for free which will take you hours. The rotating exhibitions cost money and it's roughly $25 per person to view them.
A lively, bustling and entertaining place for the whole family.
Beautiful theatre. First visit to see show. Had wonderful seats. Staff very helpful. Plenty of toilets which you do not find everywhere.
Amazing for a nice stroll around and looking through the amazing galleries. Very clean and respected and always host some amazing exhibitions. Worth a check out at least every six months
The triennial art show was great, some talented artists. It's also free.
Beautiful venue showcasing music dance and theatre. The Australian Ballet's performance of LAC was superb.
Very clean and flashy but only 2 slow staff to serve alot of patrons before the show. Announcements were being made before the commencement of the show that 'the comedian WILL be on stage at 8pm and will NOT be delayed so please make your way to your seats' well that was a bit hard when we were lined up for drinks and the poor people at the back of the line probably missed half the show
An excellent place to visit when in Melbourne. It's a convenient, entertaining, and educational way to spend your day alone or with the family. With free entrance and lots of exhibits, there is nothing more to ask for!
Very clean & polite greeting at reception! Attended SDA meeting
Excellent venue. Signage and access great, staff were very helpful when needed. Collecting tickets at the box office the line looked long but moved very quickly. Performance by the MSO was amazing!
I quite like the atmosphere of the arts centre. Great place to be, they put on markets and music, there's nice garden walks. The shows are put on well. Minus points for the expensive inner city prices but you can always take a picnic and spend time enjoying one of the arts shows.
Great venue with impactful shows. Make sure to book tickets to any MSO plays events :)
Love the arts centre. Everyone that works there is lovely too!!
Small serves & inconsistent 'orders ' from management make this place somewhat disappointing place. There are better places to eat before the theatre. Go there instead.
We just got done seeing the production Brigadoon. It was a great production. Well organized
Love the live theatre! Great facilities and theatres
Apart from the extremely high cost to have a pre show drink it is a Lovely venue with friendly helpful staff.
Great place, convenient located, lots of free exhibitions, great events, I love it.
I was delighted to find a Picasso amongst a lot of other fantastic art. Layout was slightly difficult to navigate, but other than that was great
Was at NGV, not the arts Centre. NGV Triennial exhibition was amazing free event.
It's a quintessential pit stop on the Melbourne culture train. The spire, the drama, the escalators! Whatever ever you get to see here, stop once in a while and see it like you did the first time.
Went to see 1000 Doors at the Arts Center - well worth the effort and price of admission.
One of my favorite places in the city. So many things to take in.
Beautiful theatres.
No parent's room.
Absolutely stunning edifice! Clean and well maintained. Very helpful and pleasant staff. Leg room in balcony seating was impressive
Playhouse Theatre - great theatre with comfortable seats.
The kids and I love to go to the National Gallery of Victoria even though we are not into art.
We love to visit the free exhibitions, especially the kids one. Nearly all year round, and especially during school holidays, there are exhibitions and activities for kids to introduce them to art. Loads of fun.
And don't forget the wall of water.
Very nice venue! Kinda comfy chairs. However for a concert is a Shane you can't stand and dance or move with the band. Lots of toilets available which was great! And they also have several bars in different floors.
Great Gallery. Always spend an afternoon here when visiting Melbourne.
Excellent performance of Cinderella by the Australian Ballet
Saw Chicago, drive in, drive out. Very well organised. Drinks are outrageously expensive as expected. Ladies, the intermission toilet queue was long so go before the start. Car park was $21 and all that jazzzzz!
Love Hamer Hall and the excellent performances showcased there.
Wow hey art Centre nice enjoy your stop at this one as plenty to do education for you and your family
Fantastic gallery. Entry was free. Be ready for the crowds!
