Love seeing good productions and shows at a good venue like this
Very fun and cool for people of all ages. A lot of things to look at, and all very interesting!
Went there for the "Ballet Revolution", a fusion dance performance. The venue is glamorous, professionally designed and operated.
Marvelous architecture an a wide range of shows nearby the Yarra river.
Very nice place, it would be nice for a date night with a show or visit the national gallery during the day.
Luxurious inside, comfy theatre seating, great acoustics & service. Ask about 'tix @ 6' discount ticketing offer at downstairs lobby
Brilliant venue.easily accessed.wonderful staff.enjoyable experience
Great place with some decent shows. My only complaint would be the abundance of lumber sexuals that want to talk about their feelings after the show
A really awesome venue next to the NGV. A must if you're staying for a while in Melbourne.
The Triennial exhibition is definitely worth visiting
Lovely gallery, free entry and amazing artwork, with optional extra exhibits
Parking was confusing. Very helpful staff though! Hamer Hall was great.
My daily source of inspiration and the reason for Melbourne to be a livable city!
Superb venue hosting world class performers. Excellent staff, and there is a good cafe restaurant at the back of the centre serving good food and wine in upmarket and refined surroundings. Lovely performing arts-themed sculptures outside the building too.
Really great venue. Love the fact there are loads of shows and activities for children there during school holidays.
Great theater with super comfortable seats! We absolutely loved seeing the wonderful Dream Lover The Bobby Darin Musical. Perfection!
The triennial was fantastic, and even better because it was free.
I have been to multiple performances here and I have never experienced a problem. It is large, beautiful and clean. Lots of staff who are very nice and helpful. The toilets are easy to access and very clean. The security processes is easy. The signage is great and it is easy to locate what area and where you should be. No issues to report. Highly recommend
Fabulous shows. Every seat in the theatre is incredible and the sound is exceptional!

Wonderful photographic exhibition at the Ian Potter Centre followed by the MTC production of Benjamin Laws play at the Fairfax theatre. Another fabulous day in Melbourne.
Great rooms but they can be a little hard to find if you haven't been to that particular room before.
The interior of the center is lovely and modern. The bar was located right next to the entrance. Fantastic view from anywhere in the State Theatre. Lovely red carpet all around the center. The Arts Centre itself is well managed, comfortable and a very good venue for such performances.
The place is very beautiful and there are various presentations of theater, music, both for adults and children.
Well set out. Close to trams and trsins. Interesting exhibits
Great venue for live theatre , music and exhibitions
Melbourne's answer to The Sydney Opera House and home if too grade theatre, Opera and ballet as well as orchestral shows. Usually has great local or touring acts playing in one of the venues and its hard to find a bad seat in the Playhouse.
Today my husband and I saw Dream Lover at the State theatre. We absolutely loved the show.David Campbell WAS Bobby Darin.
The dancers, singers and leads were fabulous and the orchestra outstanding!
The Arts centre offers a lot of things to see and do,plenty of staff to ask directions.
We visited Open Up Australian Music Vault, found it very well presented and interesting.
Hamer Hall is a beautiful building very fit for its purpose. Pleasure to visit.
Always have great shows and staff are very friendly. Great facilities
A lot of amazing art works. Stayed there for around 3hours and still had lots more to see
Car parking expensive, excibits good but a little over hyped.
Amazing theatre. Parking was excellent and reasonably priced .
Last week I had the pleasure of attending the Arts Centre Melbourne ...
I thoroughly enjoyed my experience , and "Dreamlover " was fantastic..
From arrival to departure was a pleasant experience.
Lots of helpful and courteous staff to guide you in the right direction...
Lovely choice of fresh lunch/coffee ...and not expensive.
Good comfortable seats ...the venue is spotless ...the auditorium is amazing ..well worth visiting ..
Great Melbourne drawcard. Really good place to see a show or musical. Upper seating has great uninterrupted views of the stage and the orchestra pit. A lot of people know the spire up top, but are unaware that the building has several levels underground.
What a great art precinct. We were lucky enough to see Jimmy Carr at Hamer Hall and not only was he hilarious but the venue was impeccable. Well designed, comfy seats and great acoustics. A handful of bars line the foyer for those wanting refreshments. If you have the opportunity to see a show here, you should!
Packed full with permanent and temporary collections the NGV definitely has the quantity, and if you can endure the search it there is some quality to be found.
Came from Perth to see the Requiem for Cambodia music by Dr Sophy Him WOW what a moving show
Beautiful place. The main hall is stunning as always, well worth a visit for a live orchestra. Also had a Christmas party in one of the function room upstairs. Nice and spacious with a balcony that overlooked Melbourne CBD
THe Fairfax theatre was a wonderfully intimate place where everyone can feel close to the performance.
Art centre on st kilda rd Melb is very accessible, good facilities & exhibitions are very entertaining. When there are children's exhibits they are very user friendly.
Real art place . Every different exhibition every season .
An amazing venue to get the opportunity to petform in....a must-see call for any visitor to this great city for a wide variety of artistic events!
Melbourne does Art and Theatre and Festivals like no where else in Australia (apart from Adelaide in March )
Great show fantastically comfy seats and helpful staff

Helpful staff great facilities an enjoyable experience
Staff were fantastic ,the place was clean warm and very busy.
I absolutely enjoy this place. My wife and I watched Dusty the musical performance and it was outstanding. One of the best musical performance that I have seen thus far. Good facility. Not too large of a theater. Good comfortable chair.
Beautiful building and theatre. The heart of Melbourne's extensive arts circulatory system. Arts galleries are free and well worth a look.
Small, nice and free exhibition Ideal to spend an hour. Next door is the New Art Museum.
