I went to the Playhouse to see Hannah Gadsby. Great show. Due to technical difficulties, we were late to be seated. There wasn't an announcement for some time. It was quite congested downstairs and very crowded. Finally went in. Despite this, great venue.

Loved the state theatre! Situated right next door to National Art gallery which is an excellent place to grab a coffee before or after the show. If you're early its great to have a browse at the Art - - its all free.

We went here on some tour with uni, so we didn't watch any performances but the staff showed us around the building. (There's more to it than it seems!) The staff were excellent, they explained well, took questions and were generally very nice, the building itself is very clean, there was no rubbish at all!

Another of MELBOURNE s icon- one of the most visited places in Melbourne!! Busy whole year round. Whenever there is a themed display, there would be long queues! Located near Flinders St Train Station and well serviced by the many trams along St KILDA RD. Fabulous to see! Surrounded by the Anzac memorial garden, the Royal Botanical Garden of MELBOURNE, the Arts Centre, the South Bank..... endless things to see and do in Melbourne!

The Arts Centre is a great venue, conveniently nestled near Flinders Street station and the tram links south of the city! I saw comedy at the playhouse, which was fantastic. Quick access in and out is always a bonus at these high-people-volume shows too. One thing that does need improvement is the beer selection. Picking local with the Grand Ridge Pale, I was disappointed. I love a craft beer, don't get me wrong, but a lacklustre exclusive beer supply to the public is not a place to get experimental.

Prominently located by the Yarra River and along St Kilda Road, in Southbank, the Arts Center Melbourne and its complex of theaters and concert halls is the place to go to see performing arts. Its is now a true gem in Melbourne's theatrical crown and it's spire, magnificently lit up at night, is a well-known landmark of Melbourne.

Most expensive night time parking..in Melbourne. $26. Yup you read that right...more expensive out of hours (post business hours) than their early bird all day parking during business hours. I think the Art Centre trustees must be trying to solve the state debt problem. Plenty of car parks behind the Arts Centre at less than half this rip off joint.

Awesome, needed assistance with a member of our party, who had difficulty walking. The staff provided a wheelchair for us and offered to provide an usher for us if we needed one. Nothing was too much trouble.
