Whats not to love? The exhibitions that come here are amazing. We are very lucky. And even when the headline exhibition doesnt interest you, there is so much else to see. Make sure you check out the garden out the back.

Very cool place!
The Rock and Roll exhibition with the amplifier room was insane. It's especially cool if you're alone in there!

A great place to enjoy the art culture of Melbourne. Cafes inside and outside, the architecture within the centre, the flowing wall of water, the fountains flowing along the moat, the Sunday open air markets make this a a great visual experience for all visitors to Melbourne. And the art is pretty amazing as well!!

The free exhibitions of the Triennial are diverting, and worth dropping into the gallery to experience. Plus coffee in the Members Room, a good way to spend an hour or so between engagements in the City.

The Linda Bull Stardust Concert was fantastic, band and material superb, but Arts Centre snacks and drinks prohibative in price. $10.00 for a stubby of light is over the top. That is an idicative price of sncks as well. A 5 rated show let down by above prices.

Location:

Location:
Super convenient, and just a 3min walk from Flinders Street Station. We're glad we didn't bother driving - lots of roadworks in the area and delays which would likely stress anyone out if they're trying to catch a show.

Venue:

The Orchestra Pit is well-sized and of course, for Alice In Wonderland, was filled with an incredibly talented orchestra that was just as mesmerising as the dancers on stage.

The stage is very deep, with quite a few fly-bars - allowing lots of opportunity to play with depth and layers in each scene.

I attended Hammer Hall with my husband to see Death Cab for Cutie last week and as always the sounds was wonderful as was the overall experience. Going to the art centre you are able to see both national and international acts for a reasonable price. During our time there staff were friendly and helpful.
