Carl and his team have provided me with excellent levels of customer service on a recent purchase and continued to do so during out of office hours, providing me with all the information I required so I could make an informed decision regarding my purchase and place my order as the items were comming from America, I am extremley impressed and gratefull, well done "The Archery Shop".

I have bought numerous items from The Archery Shop and have always received excellent service not to mention advice. A huge debt of gratitude after receiving a speedy replacement Win & Win bow handle. I would certainly recommend them and encourage people to contact them if in doubt.

Fantastic service with knowledgeable friendly staff. The owner Carl will bend over backwards to help you get exactly what you want, at a fantastic price. Always gives good sound advice when needed. The archery shop is my first port of call for anything archery.

Great service and fast delivery. I saw Del for my first bow setup and it was a great experience from start to finish. Del spent over 2 hours with me, making sure I was all set up correctly, had the right equipment and ran through a few target rounds with me to ensure I was happy. You don't get this kind of service online or in a generic sports shop, so it's worth the trip and time you spend there.

This was originally a 1 star review but upgraded to a 5 star review due to the owner's excellent, personal response to my issue!!! Could not have asked for a more attentive response and action.

Ordered a new plunger and rest which was damaged and the plunger missing (UPS's fault). Whereas I was not particularly pleased with the initial response from the Archery Shop - lack of appreciation for the urgency in getting a replacement sent (which was not in stock unfortunately and needed to be dispatched from their warehouse in the Netherlands) / or my suggestion to upgrade to a more expensive plunger where I paid the difference, I was left feeling the item would not arrive in time and as this was bought as a birthday present this was not good!!!

Carl, the owner, personally rang me immediately upon reading my original review and promised to rectify the situation which he did.

This to me demonstrates the benefit of ordering from companies like the Archery Shop who really pay attention to what their customers say!

Appalling, avoid at all costs to buy anything from here. We ordered online a set of boss, stand and targets about two months ago and still haven't got our full order, after following several times by phone. They never get back to us and have to keep on calling them. Firstly, the stand arrived late, on its own, with fittings missing. After calling them, we were told the boss was delivered separately and they would find out what had happened to it. Next they told us it had been delivered days ago. Normally now we get emails or texts to let us know when things are delivered but nothing from them. We never received it. As luck would have it, one day driving to the next village down the road, we happened to see outside a house a big package which looked like a boss. We looked at it and it was our boss, with our name and address. It had been delivered and signed for at this house, we don't know them, about a mile from ours. So luckily we got it, not thanks to The Archery Shop who did not care a bit about it all. We are still waiting for the stand fixings. Last call was about 2 weeks ago when they said they were sending this in the next few days. We will have to call yet again on Monday to see if we will ever get them. Lost the will to live and will never EVER buy from is shoddy terrible company again.

These guys are absolutely brilliant. Putting up with me is not easy but I got what I wanted even tho I managed to change part of my order 3 times (lol) but they had no problem with me (I hope). Its gonna be my go-to online shop from now on (sorry guys, lol).
One thing that could improve is letting people know if there s something out of stock straight away but its not an issue if you set your eyes on something and don t mind waiting a couple of days longer.

Cartel arrow rest broke after a few days, received a replacement in 2 days. A1 customer service.

Chat to the guys here about your requirements and try some gear out if you need to.

Brilliant customer service could not ask for better and quick too

For what I bought, they had the best prices. What I didn't expect was some of the best service from a shop I have ever had.

Even though I initially started an online order, I had a couple of questions that they were very good at sorting out, and there was never a sense of upsell pressure. Just solid, really going the extra mile, good service. Really impressive.

Very slow a dispatching orders, even though items are showing as available. On phoning I was informed the item was expected in that day, so not as show on the site.

It would have be nice if they had contacted me to let me know there was to be a delay, perhaps if they had this review would have been completely different.

My review is of course for any archer, but specifically for those in the United States. As a US customer, and being from the San Francisco Bay area I wasn't used to ordering my archery supplies from the UK and from so far away. And as a US archer you know basically we only have only the one Big supplier here ,(you know who it is). Nothing wrong with them, but sometimes they feel a little too much "the only game in town-ish" and they have a big lock on pricing here. Not many other choices here to compare.

Well, that being said, I wanted some shopping options and I wondered what it would be like to purchase supplies from the UK. Common language and all that. I didn't pick just any "willy nilly" store, and after doing lot of research on UK archery stores, I decided I'd try my business with The Archery Shop, who had so many stellar reviews for competitive pricing, product selection and customer service. My experience has been exactly that! Fast shipping (7 days last order...I was very satisfied and surprised at that kind of speed from the UK to US west coast) and prices beat the "Big" store here on all my orders...by a significant amount. Yes the shipping is a bit more, but The Archery Shop"s competitive pricing basically offset that, and if I would have ordered more items for the shipping box (my last order for example) my cost per item would have beat the "Big" store.

And I know this is a long winded review, but I want US archers to know they have an excellent shopping option with the The Archery Shop with our friends in the UK.

Last thing, customer service...Lauren the shop manager was a pleasure to deal with, with quick responses to my email inquires, and of course you may have questions when you make your first UK order. But honestly it's as easy as ordering from the US. It's not another planet. Just go to their web site. Well built site and easy to use. You can get your own account there.

Extremely slow delivery. The host even forgot my order. Order in the Monday and urgent need it on weekend. However, until Thursday, the item has not been dispatached. I even called them before order. Ruin my trip for competation.

Careful consider if you need the good urgently.

Shop is mainly online now so limited items in store. Although it's not noted on the website, make sure you book an appointment prior to going.

Fantastic experience from the off. Emailed to check a few details before heading up from Exeter to the store. When I got there, all the staff were happy to help and let me try bits and pieces on their small test range. Ordered equipment and arrived at the end of that working week! Only thing to let it down was the DPD delivery driver.
I will certainly be using these guys again!

I bought some recurve stuff and got it delivered to India. The service was very efficient and smooth delivery through Royal Mail within 10 working days. The quality and prices are very competitive. Very good experience. Recently the prices are increasing may be due to the falling GBP rates.

Very helpful bunch and a pleasant experience. I was looked after by Jack who did an excellent job of remaining relaxed whilst dealing with my questions on a busy Saturday. Also, I was made a very nice cup of tea. Recommended.

Ordered a range of items from their awesome-looking online shop. Needed it urgently, so only ordered things that were shown as "in stock", and was reassured by their delivery policy of dispatch within one to two working days.

After not receiving the items or any correspondence after a week, I contacted them to find that some items were not in fact in stock, and they had intended to just wait yet another week until it had arrived from the wholesaler before dispatching - without even an e-mail.

Not a great start, but when I complained the owner apologised and explained that improvements were being made. I would certainly give them another chance, as they seem like a great company with a few teething problems.

I was lucky enough to visit the shop in Poole before the CV-19 lockdown to be measured for a recurve bow. I also purchased safety netting and target and a few other items, unable to collect, they were able to sent it to me via courier service.
I am now having a great fun learning a new skill during this time.

There's a wide range of archery equipment and the staff are knowledgeable and helpful.

First class customer service.
I had a problem with the website. Had a response same day and it was sorted.
The item I ordered was received damaged. Email response was a couple of hours later. Damaged item was collected next day, and a replacement shipped within a couple of days.
I had a strange feeling that is unusual these days - I felt as if my custom was valued.

The website offers a good range and is easy to navigate.

However the items it states are stock are NOT on site and are shipped in from overseas. This leads to long delays, without making the customer aware.



They do not provide the DPD reference number or input your email into DPD system so you are unable to track or get the 1 hour time slot.

Have ordered twice from here. In future I will be ordering from elsewhere in future.

I made a large accessory order with a few special order items. Stachia was quick to get in touch and update me on timings for each item, helped me with adjustments to the order worked hard finding stock of special items really beating down the lead times to be able to get them to me in time for me to set up my bow for 3DA in October. Stachia along with the other archery shop staff are always a delight to work with and I have been impressed with them tine after time over the years.

29.6.2019 I ordered 2 caps, glasses and one T-shirt. After which 30.6.2019 I called and asked to cancel one of the orders (glasses,
because the waiting period was long enough 8-12 weeks )))))))))).
After which the employee answered me in writing that one T-shirt is also not available and its waiting period will be long enough and invited me to send separately ordered things. I replied that I will wait until they send all my orders together.
All this time until 28.8.2019 I wrote to this company and asked them to give me my tracking number i got an answer that they don t have TRACKING NUMBER.
I received 28.8.2019 (61 days) only one cap in the post.
I started writing and asking for the following orders TRACKING NUMBER, and again they convinced me that they didn t have any number except the number of the PREVIOUS TRACKING NUMBER and companies who were involved in the delivery of my order. Do you hell seriously????PREVIOUS TRACKING NUMBER ? I asked you a hundred times.
I called this delivery company and they told me that the company sent me something, but there was no information about my address on the box and they returned it back to the sender and also said that the sender took this box in the UK. I called this company in the UK to which they did not accept their guilt in every way and said that they would try to solve something. it's just a hellish company I wanted to buy from them all the necessary things for practicing archery and thank God I did not buy much more expensive things.
By the end I want to say that they ran into the wrong guy, because I m a lawyer, I ll certainly attach all the necessary checks and phone numbers and correspondence to the police statement, I don t know which of them is wrong, but the director must bear punishment for fraudulent actions and various kinds of fraud. TODAY 2.10.2019.

I ordered on the Thursday and my items were delivered Tuesday morning. The staff/owners were very pleasant and professional, they answered all my questions with confidence.

I had a great day at The Archery Shop today. I tried out a full range of 6 different verifier lenses throughout the course of the morning. This has made an incredible difference to the visualisation of my pin and cross hairs that had gradually disappeared over time as my eyesight has changed. Been a long time user of the Archery shop from before they had premises in Bournmouth and they worked out of their spare room.
Always a great welcome and service, Carl has repeatedly helped me out with great advice and great prices, cheaper than the other archery outlets.
I recommend them to all my fellow archers.

I've only recently taken up Archery and have chosen to purchase my archery kit from The Archery Shop at Poole. Having looked at several other UK based online archery stores I think that The Archery Shop has the widest choice of bows, arrows, and accessories. I've also looked at some European suppliers and I think that The Archery Shop is very competitively priced (i.e. a bit cheaper) than even these European stores. I've placed several online orders over the past few weeks with The Archery Shop via their website and all have been fulfilled, packaged well, and delivered on time. I had one item on back-order for which I asked for a refund and within 15 minutes the refund was in my PayPal account. The Archery Shop are a credit to online stores and the retail trade in general for their highly professional handling of customers.

FAB online service!!! Order confirmed on Monday, delivered on Thurs and that was for a whole range of items including a set of custom made arrows. Between Monday and Thursday I received several updates on progress and on Thursday morning the delivery company gave me a 15 minute slot which they hit. Can't ask for more than that.

I'm a member of SWAC I organise the beginners courses and love this shop! Always good service with a smile. You never feel your getting in the way or that you have to leave ASAP as soon a you have bought something!

I have gone to the shop and order items on line and on both occasions have been very pt leased with the service. At the shop the staff were a family that were only to happy to help, they would obtain anything that you needed if it was not in the shop. And the prices are better than Quicks and for me the location is better as the shop is only half a hour away from Salisbury
The Archery Shop is new competition for Quicks and a much better place to go.

Brilliant service - they responded to an urgent amendment to the order that I requested and shipped it out the same day. - Definitely recommended.

Appalling service. We arranged to have a selection of barebow risers to try. When we got there, the risers were there, but no weights, so we couldn't try them. Staff mumbled a vague apology and disappeared while we packed up our kit. We had taken a day off work, and drove 2 hours to get there.

THE best on-line archery supplier in the UK IMHO. Nothing is too much trouble and they seem to be able to source kit when others struggle. I have usually found them to be the cheapest for the same kit. My go-to archery shop!
