Cool place for family outing. Change observed from last visit

This is an amazing place. The landscaping, the rooms, the food, the service was absolutely excellent. The spa was not good at all. I don't recommend the spa. Otherwise it was a wonderful stay.

It's located on the hill top, don't be discouraged by the access path to Ananta.
Nice, clean and big rooms with good amenities and good views depending on your room location. Decorated bamboo like high seeling in the room is nice. Good soft bed and pillows.
Open roof shower with stone walls is a nice add on, no concerns for privcy. Bathroom is spacious, clean and good pressure running hot water for showers.
Good views, if your room is on the top, make note if you have week legs/knee or need wheel chair, let the folks at the reception know about it. You have to claimb stairs to go-to room, in my case 20 plus steps.
Power socket was missing right next to bed, they are located across the bed. If you are like me to catch-up on emails, messages and news before going to bed, you have to get out of your bed to put your mobile phone or other electronic gadgets for charging.
They have their own transportation to move around the property free of charge.
USB ports will be a good add on( no USB ports).
Spa was nice.
Make a note of breakfast timings, they were in a hurry to windup if you are late, grab whatever you wanted. Breakfast room was very noisy.
Many options and varieties for breakfast, liked it. Jilebi was awesome.
However the Subz Biryani I ordered for dinner wasn't up to the mark, it looked, smelled and tasted more like vegetable rice.
Accommodation for the driver/chauffeur is on the house, however lunch or dinner are not free.

Ananta resort Udaipur is on hill. Superb place for weekends. Well maintained place & staff also good.

It was amaging experience to stay in The Ananta. Excellent services and Specially housekeeping very well. Mr Manoj Choudhary - a housekeeper provides us excellent services.

Nice place to stay.resort is very good n full of greenery.all cottages r isolated.very good for privacy.slightly away from City of Udaipur.Services are not up to mark.It takes more than one call for routine housekeeping service.Otherwise it's very good property to stay.

I loved everything about resort and strongly recommend it. Everything was perfect from hospitality , to property , to food .There cottages are excellent and very spacious. Very beautiful resort for relaxing and peace of mind. Only drawback is it's bit far from city and you get ola Uber only if the taxi is nearby.

The property of Ananta Udaipur is spread over lush green hill. There are around 234 rooms in all. There are separate cottages, combined cottages with separate entrances and suites with private swimming pool. The rooms are extra spacious. In most of the separate cottages there will be an open air bathroom along with the closed one, which is very sensuous. The food is also delicious. The staff is also very understanding and cordial. There is a very nice pool, where we spent almost an hour.

This place is really good to get relaxed and be in peace (away from city chaos) with friends/family. Amenities are amazing. And I would say you should visit the place atleast ones a year!

The best place to stay and vacation awesome resort with a common pool and tub in each cottage.the pool area overall service and restaurant is delightfull ..there was a car service in the whole resort..

While check out, Rooms are not check in our presence and as we were in hurry, we paid for goods which is not lost by us and takes much more time for checked out

Quiet popular as destination wedding. Nice place for a break from city crowds. Definately gets your peace of mind here.

Too good property! Really huge! So large that during morning walk, got lost ...inside only. Finally security guard called a internal cab for me! Exclusive location !

It's worth every money spent even if it's not for cheap, do check for corporate or online discounts.

It is at outskirts of udaipur. Private vehicle is needed for communication. Price is ok, not expensive. Pictures are more attractive than resort itself. Drainage system can be improved. Staff can be more happy and interactive. Livelyhood in atmosphere is missing. Can improve nd have scope for more development as it is a new property.

A must stay resort, the best season is october.. The beauty and calmness of this resort located outside the city area, gives you smooth and refreshing experience..

The location was perfect. The view from the balcony was extremely beautiful. The staff was humble.

Beautiful place on the outskirts of Udaipur, with very spacious and comfortable cottages.-

Exotic, richly green and sprawling resort with beautiful standalone cottages (400+), all atop a hill. Wonderfully stone paved and discretely lit roads, really long pool, recreation center, well manicured lawns, restaurant serving delicious meals and snacks. Good mannered and helpful staff, always eager to serve. Pristine environment with a mild aroma of Jasmine - from the plants bearing these.

My most favorite resort in India..In just 15 days I stayed 2 times in ananta.. First time with my friends and second time with my whole family..and my both experience was great.. We celebrated my neice birthday in our junior suit no. 212 B.. And we enjoyed lot.. I specially thanks to Miss Ayesha, Miss Anjali & Miss Pratibha three queens of Ananta udaipur..They provide delicious complimentary cake for our Birthday girl in our room for celebration.. They took lots of care dunring our stay..My aged parents are very impressed...they provide for my mummy during our whole stay..and took extra care..
Now about food... Food was delicious in huge verify of different cuisines.. I spl thanks to executive chef Mr. Arvindam and cuisine chef Mr. Ram.. And we got best service in restaurant by Mr Raza, Ishvar and mohit..
I m very much impress with cab service.. Their all drivers are excellent spl Mr. Moin, rajesh, mukesh and dilip..
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL FOR ANANTA RESORT UDAIPUR.....

VERY VERY VERY EXTREMELY POOR WORST!!!

Words are not suffice and justifiable for the kind of service we were provided.

Before booking this place, we had options of several 5 star resorts in Udaipur. We got nice deal at Ananta but we had particular requirement, a baby cradle. They said they will provide us. At the time of check-in, we had to define to them what a "cradle" is. They said very conveniently that they dont have it. We were coming from 250km away in our own car, had we known they dont have cradle, either we wudnt have booked this place or carried our mobile cradle from home in car.

Never mind we went to the city of Udaipur and purchased our own cradle.

Before leaving, very clearly my wife asked the restaurant if they have amul cow's milk for night to provide for our daughter. They said yea and quoted 95/- INR for 250ml. We said okay.

Comes night, our daughter is hungry. So we called for milk. Guess what, they dont have it! Seeing your daughter cry for milk in the middle of night is not something anyone looks forward to.

Had they informed us they dont have the milk, we cud have purchased from the city.

At the check-in they gave us a room which was occupied by other guests. Imagine ppl trying to enter your room while you staying in the room.

For this hotel, customer's convenience is the least possible concern. So unprofessional that despite such hardships, we didnt head single apology from the manager.

We didnt even stay our first night and checked out at 1 am night.

I would never recommend this place for anyone.
