Always a fun time and actually the best fireworks ...
Always a fun time and actually the best fireworks show you'll find. Fire dancers are fantastic as well.

Very clean and fun. Only thing different from other Ren Faires I've been to is that the staff didn't speak with an accent. Most people serving drinks and working in shops just spoke normally. Elephant ride was super short compared to Muskogee.
Love the Place...if you can't find something interesting...you must be Dead
Had a great day!! They have done a great job keeping covid compliant!
Had a blast but the 20 dollar parking hurt, used to be 10 last year. Also missing some performers that are usually there. Had a great time though. Wish they had more ren music acts.
Large and immersive seen faire experience, must do when in the area.
We come every year! We love the renaissance festival!
We go Every year and we ALWAYS have a great time! We absolutely LOVE the experience and how there's so much to do! This year they've really streamlined card options and I honestly ended up spending more! Lol! If you get the absolute pleasure of going, don't miss it. You won't regret it!
I love to visit every year. The wire wrapped jewley at Saint Aubyn's is amazing! Good Mead too.
No words can truly explain the amazing environment.
Everybody needs to try it at least once! It's an entirely different world that you walk into. You get to throw axes and ride elephants and see so many amazing shops full of handmade wonders. Give Ren Fest a try! You won't regret it.
Took away some of the many s
Acts l enjoyed
I've been going here since I was a baby it's a fun place to go to. A amazing place where good memories are made the people you meet me and costumes you will see will be quite interesting. The food is good and the swings are fun. Left today with some ears and I love them
Cool
!!
You have have have have to go to the Texas Renaissance Fest! It's really worth an afternoon.
It was a beautiful weekend full of beautiful people, had so much fun enjoying everything from the strawberry pickle lemonade by the joust to the wonder and magic of just being there.
Loved it. Food/drinks are pricey. So it most everything there is. But it's worth going.
Huge fair with something for everyone-great shows, shopping, food, drink, and atmosphere; recommend staying for the nightly fire show by solar rain with fireworks and catching a performance by saxon moon; Sound & Fury and Opal & Jade are also hilarious if you don't mind a PG rating
Great fun. I went there for a field trip and it was good. (But a little expensive)
Had a wonderful time.People masked up & practicing socially distances!
So much fun year after year. Never get old. Something for everyone.
Been going here for years and still seeing new things! Great shows, fantastic shops, a wide variety of food and drink! Always a great time there!
Fun as usual and lots of great food, horrible traffic though
Texas Renaissance Getting there. Ah ya, there's that. ok so next time I'll listen to their website and come in from the north instead. Main roads are standstills. Backroads are closed by cops that claim we can go through. Once we got there, parking was, well, parking. It never was supposed to be fun, was it? And leaving? Boy! You best time it right: leave early or stay crazy late, again, as their site recommended, but clearly I'm stubborn.
Was it all worth it? Meh. Made some memories and experiences and our kids enjoyed some of it. But we have no vested interest like others who looked like they frequent the festival (and probably camp out there too). I would say 2/3s or folks were in costume and fit into certain groups like romans or dark aged get-ups or any number of unusual, times indiscernible outfits. I'm sure we would feel more excited and have more fun if we had participated' or 'indulged' more. But we were basically gawking and wondering around like idiots just trying to survive and keep our kids from going of the rails.
I just wanted authentic food and drink. Fail. Couldn't find a dark, heavy, smooth German beer. It was all either generic or Americanized profiteering off other cultures presumptive stereotypes and no great beer. Even the mead was way overpriced and weak, but not terrible. And the food followed this pattern too. Like you would see tacos and burgers in greek and polish town, albeit slightly different ingredients. Plenty of fried things, so tasty, but not worth the effort and cost. Think carnival food and drink. Misleading! Or I'm naive. Rode some rides. Saw some plays. Found some cool souvenirs. Everyone has every kind of souvenir you could imagine, so expect to shop. I bet you won't leave without something! Will we be back? I have a feeling yes, because it's a unique experience.
Amazing festival. Hate that we always choose the coldest weekend but kids LOVE it!
Love going here , so much to see . Great things to buy and great place to take the family
Very entertaining place and especially to attend early to see the shows
If you've never been, GO. This is a world all of its own and I enjoyed every second I was there
If you're thinking of having a wedding there I would suggest not. My experience was that the coordinator was disorganized, and would miss/mess up details and blame it on us. Including music, flowers (type and colors), reception space, processional, carriages, guest lists, parking, and dressing rooms. We had several guests come to us with similar observations. The biggest issue though was the reception. The guy running the Italian Village decided to make himself the star of our reception, and generally a nuisance. I cannot stress enough how much he made himself the center of attention instead of fading into the background. He interfered with our photographer, bothered the bride, and added his own decorations. The steak was well done leather, and the "seasoned chicken pieces" were frozen chicken tenders. I was severely underwhelmed with the food. It appears that the renaissance festival staff do things their way regardless of what you want. We emailed our concerns to the renaissance festival staff including the owner George, the coordinator, the event contact email address, and the general inquiry contact, and have not heard a peep. No apology, not even an acknowledgement. Though given the recently reported sexual harassment allegations against "King George" they may have their hands full. So if you want a renaissance festival wedding where you are told how your event will go, and for the honor of attending you pay a stiff price then you know where to find it.
Always a great time! We take our kids and they love it too. Lots of shopping for handmade items, great shows and food. Take cash as you will need it. Food, drink and attraction vendors require it. Dress up, you won't regret it!
Awesome events to help understand and enjoy the Renaissance time periods, very educational while making family memories.
Large grounds with lots of activities and vendors. Good food and drinks too and prices are reasonable
Full of fun! Lots to do! So much in fact that you can't do it all in one day, you'll need two days if you want to be able to see and do everything. Great shops, awesome shows, fun just as adults or for the family.
My first time at a Renaissance festival and it was so fun and amazing so many cool things to buy. End of the show was fantastic.
I've been coming to RenFest for years! The campgrounds and facilities keep getting better, there's improved cell signals, patrolling security guards all night to keep the peace, and a growing number of convenience shops and food trucks to allow anyone their desired type of camping experience. There is a quiet side and a not-so-quiet side and either side provides the comforts and security I mentioned before. There's also shower facilities (for $) for those who want to feel refreshed in the morning. We usually have a family weekend (4-7 of us) and a friend weekend (about 10-25) and the experience is enjoyable to all ages.
Tons of fun. Only spent a day there, but hopefully next year it'll be a full weekend.
Top flight food and entertainment, family friendly. Highest recommendation!
Love everything about this place. Been going since I was 5. Love it!
It was my first time going and I had a blast the jousting was awesome and Thorins Mead tastes quite good lots of fun definitely going back later this year or next year
It's awesome, I had a lot of fun there and I would go again with my family. It offers a lot of fun things to do and a great place for some culture
It was so much fun. Shows are great... Food is reasonably price. Merchandise is over price.
I've been coming here for years and it's always a ton of fun. Some years have been better than others but the festival has been working hard to improve and change up their shows and the things they offer. HIGHLY recommend you come if you've never been and try it at least once.
If you have a chance to attend you will not be disappointed. The food is very pricey and don't expect much quality but the festival is always a winner
Awesome fest cool weather, could not have been better
What more could be written about the RenFest. It's big, well attended and for good reasons. It does feel a bit like a lot of the vendors are just there to clear out your accounts - so take cash and leave the cards at home or in the car just to limit yourself.
Party! Between the TRF and the camp grounds, you will never be bored. There is just too much to see and do for a weekend.....
Great shows, great food, and a welcoming environment
I've been going for the last 32 years and planning on going the 32. My daughter has gone her whole life, and as soon as it closes for the season, she starts talking about getting ready for the next season. There's something for everyone, from the young to the old. There are shows, shops with handmade items, and demonstrations throughout. It's truly a unique experience! Just remember one thing, it's popular, so there will be thousands of people there. It's totally worth it though!!!
A very family friendly and open environment that offers great food, drink, and entertainment. I really loved all the shops and clever artwork and costumes.
People watching at its finest. Costumes, shows, entertainment.
Best festival in Texas. Camp sites are incredibly fun.
The Texas Renaissance Festival has something for everyone. From the moment you enter the front gate there are sights, sounds, smells and textures to help you step out of the modern world and all its stressors to a time of shivery and fantasy. Food from around the world, games and rides, face painters, clothiers, wines/meads/ales, performers and artisans all concluded in the evening with fire dancers and fireworks.
Fantastic, it's gotten a bit more pricey throughout the yrs but definitely worth going!!
More to do and see every year! People watching is the best fun!
Fun and full of tons of interesting people... you definitely can spend lots of money here but all the shows are free.
I absolutely love the renfest! Definitely a place to visit every season! We camped and it was such a blast!
If you've never been you'll have the time of your life everybody should go at least once
So much fun. Lots of shops and shows. Enjoy going every year.
Always a fun experience! Go early and park close! Bring cash!
The best renaissance festival! We go every year and look forward to it more than some holidays! They are adding more to the grounds which is hard to grasp because they are huge already and I can never make it through and see everything in a day as it is. Great shows, food, shopping, and fireworks! Highly recommend!
A lot of fun. Was a really nice day and somehow or another they made it so that it was not really muddy after all the rain they had. Most fun to talk to people shop owners and other visitors alike. Had fun watching some of the demonstrations and listening to the different vendors. And it all too quick. Really need to spend the whole day
