Terrible's Hotel and Casino Review

We rode down with 14 Bikes booked 10 rooms. OMG all the rooms were DIRTY All of our rooms., The shower floors were black with mold. The whole room was bad! 6 people from our group got sick that night and in the morning! If I could rate this a negative 10 starts I would!
Even doing an upgrade the rooms were just as bad!! I guess the hotel is named for what it is Terribles

You get what you pay for here. But if you just need someplace to lay your head this is the place. The only sandout here is the vintage steakhouse. The food is top notch and the ambience is beautiful!

Loved seeing the movies cars, but that is about all.

I liked this place. For one thing, it was really cheap. And I don't generally gamble, but fyi, I sat down at a nickel slot, and discovered they will bring you free drinks as long as you're playing. (Please do tip the waitress, though.) Oh, plus, the sign said $29 rooms, and that is exactly what it cost, plus tax,no hidden fees. I have only two (trivial) complaints: 1 - half the games in the arcade are broken/not on- but then again, they're free. 2 - after checkout, I wanted to get breakfast in the cafe, but the only restaurant open was the buffet. I could tell the place was nearly empty, so I understand. It doesn't make sense to keep both open when it's very slow, and everyone else was happy with the buffet. This place is not luxurious, it's budget. If you want fancy or nice, expect to pay for it.

Not well staffed on Sundays.
Dennys was the only coffee shop and the service there was absolutely terrible.

I don't gamble so I don't know anything on that part. It's a place to stay. Finally got the cigarette smell out after a few years.

It's small but cozy we like to do a little pre gambling there before we head into las Vegas for the week

I love the rooms. And and the service. But I go there for the band room. Great music.

We just stopped to check out the movie cars. There really is no other reason for visiting...

Really interesting has a bunch of iconic cars from different movies

Stayed here a few days back. This place its in the middle of nowhere so there's not much you can expect. If you are heading to Cal and feeling tired there's traffic and want to get away from the heat wait it out, by all means its an ok chill spot However, The chow at the buffet is horrible, wifi costs 10 bucks to get, the beds are not that comfortable the floors make too much noise and you can hear what ever goes on in the room next to you and upstairs. In the room restroom I was taking a dump because the food at the buffet gave me an upset stomach and in the middle of it the lights went out, took about 5 mins to return. The lady at the check in lobby was rude. The Hispanic lady at the gift shop was very kind and the lady at the snack shop was very kind as well. The pizza there was really good too. I heard the slots do pay up so good luck if you do gamble, I don't. The beer is cheap too. Its acceptable I guess for the amount you pay for the rooms.

Horrible steak house, spoiled prime rib ,real nasty staff, The Dennys was real good

Very pleasant experience. The hotel was surprisingly not smoky which made for a pleasant gambling experience.

Good bar, slower service, can use a renovation and new slot machines

Price was changed and then we were led to a room that was not clean.
However the restaurant is absolutely amazing the fine steak place

It's not bad, plenty of truck parking, drove 300 miles straight so I got hungry, the steakhouse is top notch, I ordered the ribeye it came with mashed potatoes and complementary bread, this is a true restaurant, honestly very delicious, also has some awesome cars for display, my favorite is the batmobile , great place to bring someone special for dinner, they are open from 4-10 pm, bravo, delicioso!!!

They have a new sign which is cool

I liked it. For the price it was great. I recommend it if you trying to save a buck.

These people are accounting crooks! There name says it all. They charge you twice for your room! They steal money from you! Don t stay here truckers or families. It s a nasty hotel with a staff who are out to take your money away from you! This place was better before this horrible company bought the place. I ask you to stand with me to boycott this crooked organization and their crooked accounting practices! They should be placed out of business!!!

Fun mini-museum of vintage cars here, including the 1966 Batmobile and the BTTF DeLorean.

Interior is nicer than the outside suggests. There's an awesome car collection inside from various movies.

This started as a decent stay until the pool had dirty diapers, baby wipes, snack bags, net and other filth inside of it. We tried to do the hotel and other first a service by cleaning it with their net, however security came and told us we were not able to clean it and the hotel refused to clean it when there is wind outside because leaves will get in it... I informed her that the leaves weren t the problem and it was the dirty diaper wipes and other unsanitary trash that was the root of the issue. She said the hotel didn t care and that we weren t supposed to touch the net. We paid money to use the hotel service and now we re supposed to just not use it because they are too lazy to clean it. (OR ALLOW US TOO) I don t understand the issue with allowing the guest to do their job if that s what they want to do. The security guard said Aaron was the guy to talk too about this issue however he basically wouldn t care either. So basically don t stay here if you want to use the pool and hot tub because you re not allowed too if it s windy. Which lets be real.. it s ALWAYS windy. Pool area is nice, just is useless. Hotel needs pest control because the hot tub is invested with bees swarming around.

We booked two rooms, one was amazing but the other one the air didn t work. The coffee maker didn t work in one room. The hallway on first floor was flooded so the downstairs smells musty. Hotel is decent but outdated. Not many casino games. Dennys breakfast vouchers were really good though. However, they say complimentary but we were charged to use the vouchers. Only iced tea beverage is included nothing else.

First night desk clerk seemed as if she didn t know what she was doing. Check In took nearly half an hour. We still have 10 days left of vacation, but we re checking out and going elsewhere in the morning.

Dated casino but had a cool vibe. Lots of classic cars on the casino floor.

Yuck. The nastiest place I've ever been. The place is rundown so bad. I was scared to sleep on the bed.

This is a review of the hotel. overall the place smelled quite heavy of cigarette smoke and the beds were rather uncomfortable. However for an inexpensive rate it was an overall decent place to spend the night.

A really neat old building. Small downstairs area mostly taken up by a Dennys Restaurant. That is a shame. Do visit anyway.

It was an interesting stop but we didn't stay long.

I won't be coming back ever, cleaning people for the shower wall's need to remove the black mold. For $78.00 a night not worth it. Motel 6 a lot more clean and $46.00 a night on holiday week. Sorry Gold Strike. Less improvement in the Casino and more improvement in the Rooms.

Much larger than it used to be. Mexican restaurant was good. Did not go there to gamble this trip. I have never stayed there.

Went there for a lunch. Food was good but too much smell of smoking.

One of the last standing casinos of a bygone era. It needs a total makover. The people working there are doing the best with what they have to work with. I will return as I always do.

The room was very clean. Misplaced wallet and Julie was very helpful and attentive to the problem. Housekeeping staff was very good.

Rooms are clean. The public areas could be a little cleaner and brighter. Everything just seemed dark and gloomy. Bathrooms need to be updated.

The movie cars were very neat to see. The lighting around them made it very hard to take pictures.

The casino floor was very pleasing. I only had a chance to visit the casino and dining areas, but they were well looked after.

Whatever you do avoid the Denny's in the casino, unless you like very bad service.

Really nice and open casino with some good choices on slots but i think there could be more and my favorite part is all the old off road vehicles there and the fast and furious movie cars.

It was a last minute reservation but we chose here cuz they dont charge a resort fee.. It was $50 total which is within our budget an it was a great room.. it was cool and smelled fresh when we walked in, free wifi, coffee, shampoo, soap, an the maid let us use the cart instead of calling someone which we appreciated cuz we were coming from another hotel and everything wasnt so organized anymore, and to top it off we both got a free breakfast at Dennys.. so i will definitely come back and recommend it

They closed the restaurant in favor of Dennys. The only other choice is their very small steakhouse that was rather expensive. The meal I had was only mediocre certainty not worth the cost. I don't see myself stopping here again. I decided to stop here rather than dealing with traffic off the interstate in Las Vegas and I regreted that.

My first time visiting since the change from the Gold Strike. I like the auto collection inside the casino. Excellent room rates and only 25 minutes from the strip. Great value.

Great place loved it! its has a kind of of cozy atmosphere to it! i wouldn't mind staying here again the room are very nice too :)

Decently nice place. Not too crowded. Nice bar and live entertainment. Good selection of gambling machines. Snack bar was not bad too.

If you go back to Las Vegas I recommend this place and taste a real American hamburger, and the place is magical, it takes you back to the 70's and they have a car show, DE Lujo, for example they have the real car from the 1st 007, and others from other movies, anyway I loved it !!

I love this place and will stop each time I'm through here. The restaurant prices are not bad, Steakhouse food was incredible, amazing service, pretty generous payouts
