Terrible's Hotel and Casino Review

Great parking clean rooms and staff are very nice and clean Bathrooms

Kindda old but there was nothing else available. Starts at 79.99 2 queens or 1 king.

Good place to stay when you re paragliding in the gene desert dry lake bed. Hotel is old but very well-kept and the staff makes up for it. The Denny s inside is good. Gas station is right close by. Overall a very good experience.

terrible's casino is real convenient it was so large I really made a lot of money gambling at the slots the tables are pretty loose and is very clean and tidy everybody's so nice and courteous I recommend all travelers stop by here for a bite to eat use their amenities and get a room

Nothing fancy, but the bathrooms were clean. Didn't have a chance to gamble. The movie cars exhibit was cool to see (and free).

Great place to stay out side of vegas. Good gambling opertunities and has a Dennys in the hotel.

The staff was incredibly friendly. This establishment was an incredibly convenient stop on my trip. 24 hours services are so important when passing through in the middle of the night!

Terrible's is a great place to stay. Very clean rooms, great customer service. Terrible's is home away from home.
I would like to thank Keith McDonald for the great stay I had, to celebrate my daughter's birthday. The waitresses take less than 5 minutes to bring your drinks, compared to the 30 plus minutes on the strip.
Great steakhouse, a gift shop and just cross the freeway the biggest Chevron gas station in the US with 96 pumps and a huge store with everything you dream about to buy.
I will definitely be back.

I definitely recommend staying at TERRIBLE'S in Jean, Nevada, 20 minutes from the strip and trust me I know Las Vegas after living there for 12 years .

My husband and I love this place so much, This place has everything you could possibly want..Nice clean rooms that are very reasonably priced, (my husband and I get the truck driver rate and they have lots of truck parking)the best steaks in town at the little steak house down stairs, and friendly staff..if you don't like the hustle and bustle of Vegas, you should give this place a try, still a busy place but not overly crowded...Love the fast and furious cars and the batmobile on display. I had a blast and we will definitely be back every chance we get!!! Thank you Gold Strike for a great experience!!!

The gambling hall is basic and has just a couple of tables. The room itself was clean but the AC was loud. The hotel itself had a feel of a run down inn. We we're passing through Vegas, and for the price it was fine. The free breakfast at Denny's was a plus.

The casino floor was difficult to navigate due to poor lighting. There was quite a bit of smoking so we will not bring our family to stay here as it is too dirty feeling for our taste.

Been here a few times. Has plenty of space for tractor- trailers and they don't charge you to park. Dennys inside, along with a bunch of movie cars like back to the future, fast n furious, Batman etc. Slots seem fair , unless you EXPECT to win. I've won here and lost but never felt like it wasn't well spent for the entertainment. Employees I've encountered are polite as well. Hotel is huge and I plan on staying in a room next time I come. Minus one star for not having ticket or bill breaker machines otherwise this place is awesome.

Pretty clean, humble, fairly priced rooms. The breakfast area service was bad for the first two days and that's why it doesn't get five stars. Otherwise, the hotel is a simple place to sleep at a fair price.

The place was clean and the people were nice and the cars they have there were just great and it was easy to park.

I visited Gold Strike Hotel & Gambling to gamble a bit while visiting Las Vegas. The casino was nice and the waitress where very attentive. Overall my experience there was very pleasant.

It's a nice Casino it may be older but it's a nice place to play the staff is very professional and I love the place

Old fashioned American Casino. Rooms were nice & big, and clean with 2 good beds, and under 40.00 a night. Coin slot machines, and all types of gambling games. Nice & close parking, and the food was delicious. I'll be going back there for sure.

The hotel room was fine, it was very bland with no art work on the walls. The bed was comfortable and we slept great. The hotel has a cool movie car exhibit right now with cars from Fast and the Furious 7, and an old Batmobile and more. We only stayed there for a night for our stop on a road trip to California. It was great for our needs.

Rooms are ok. Smoke was overwhelming as if they didn't have ventilation. We enjoyed the breakfast from Denny's. Its a 20 minutes drive to the city.

The casino was good the steakhouse was AMAZING!! The rooms could be a lot better, carpet was old and dingy, coffee in the room was disgusting, bed was not very comfortable, but the pillows were nice.

This is the trashiest place in Jean Nevada, and that s saying a lot because i ve slept in a room filled with rodents before. The moment you drive into the parking lot there is trash everywhere! We parked and as we were walking to the door there was 2 FULL TRASH BAGS far away from each other in different parking spots, the little drop of zone also has so many flat boxes of runner over cigarettes and broken beer bottles this place needs a visit from the government themselves, my god. We have this place a chance and walked into the casino and the glass doors are disgusting, they haven't been washed in 19 years! It also smelled so bad that my dad who works in the oil fields and lost most of his sense of smell could smell how disgusting this place was. We nearly threw up so as we walked out of the doors i grabbed my emergency hand sanitizer out of my backpack and drowned my hands in it.

Great food. In a way family oriented. We met other families with their Kido's. We stopped to have dinner. Highly recommend.

Whit the virus thing going on it was dead. But it seems like a decent place. Cool car exhibit. We enjoyed the "Old West" motif.

Ate dinner at Denny's, it was the best Denny's meal I've ever had!

We booked a super cheap room with breakfast included. Got exactly what we paid for. The breakfast was vouchers for the inhouse Denny's and no limit on the hour it is used. That was great. We were there too short to use the pool/jacuzzi. We recommend upgrading to the renovated rooms as the cheapest ones feel seedy. Overall great deal.

Great atmosphere...great staff...even better payouts!!! Can't wait to visit again.

Looked outdated, didn't stay but just went to eat breakfast at the Dennys in side. They had a famous movie cars event when we went which was cool.

All the slots are outdated and they were misadvertised as accepting myVEGAS rewards. We drove 35 minutes from the Stratosphere just to pay full price for a buffet we could have gotten for free somewhere else.

Half way between Primm and Las Vegas, why stop here? It certainly is cheap ($49 to $69/night). Note Denny's onsite is only place for food, no free breakfast. Old and dated. Seemed to be home to Truckers (I guess it's a good truck stop?) and tour groups. Check in is crazy - have to go through the Casino hall, so don't bring your bags. Wait and drive around to "Hotel Entrance" to bring those in. Overall cleanliness is evidently not a priority in the rooms. 20 minute drive to Vegas, so not very close. Nothing else save the Women's Prison is in Jean.

I love old cars. It was Dennys late night so I didnt understand that the host cleaning tables and seating us couldnt take a drink order and if it was so dead why it took so long for a server.

Great time. Slots keep you playing! Friendly service. Nice rooms, excellent prices! The Steak House was delicious and has very reasonable prices! I will return again real soon! Had a blast!!

Stopped in to buy some gifts. Very quiet, but service was great. Very inexpensive gifts, but limited on variety of items.

The tables were cheap but we went to eat at Dennys in the hotel. The service was the worst service I have had.

Looks and smells old . The car museum is ok, good spot for a restroom break.

Terrible night of rest fire alarm went off at 4:45 A.M.....Very scarry experience!!!

I stayed overnight it was a nice experience They have a steak house definitely worth the visit the food was good and the service was equally as good as was the wine selection. The hotel offers free coffee and cookies stationed at the ends of each hall where the hotel rooms are located... the coffee was a plus and when I did manage to get a cookie they were hard as rocks leaving me to wonder had they been this hard when placed here for the patrons or had they gotten this hard sitting out either way something needs to be done about the preservation of the cookies as they sit waiting to be consumed... Rooms came stocked with an ironing board iron and a hair dryer for those who may need them my only major dislike was the hotel does not offer room service but for the price of the rooms you can go dine in at the STEAK HOUSE.

Ive never had a bad experience. Staff is always pleasant and rooms are very clean and food is good. I love the casino to. Thanks Gold Strike!!!!!!!!!!

It's good for all of a sudden stayovers. It's not in the strip and is about 20-25 mins from McCarran Airport, the price was perfect for my family who was staying only for a couple hours.

Thankfully out room was great. The a.c. worked the t.v. worked. Warm water was scarce but that didn't bother me. The only thing that bothered me and I 100% will not be going back because of this. We reserved our rooms for 298 weeks before. The total was 312 I believe. We arrived and he said it's 390 something with tax. I laughed at him told him the tax was already paid and that it for sure wasn't 80 bucks. He then changed his mind and said oh it's a pool and spa fee. Well we don't want the pool and spa, but they wouldn't remove it. So just on principle we won't be back.

I didn't stay here but it had the original batmobile and I'm a huge batman fan

Only stopped for the the movie cars exhibit. The exhibit was small, but well presented. It was a nice spot to stretch our legs, but not much else.

Decent place and rate for the Sunday to Thursday pricing. Lots of big rig parking

Come here often ONLY because my new husband has lots of comps. Quiet and quaint. Service at Denny's is always slow and the food is served 'barely' warm.

I recommend paying the extra $ 10 for remodeled rooms. Everything was very comfortable. The only thing is that the casino floor smelled like cigarettes but it is normal for a casino. Denny's treated us very well too. The rooms were clean with TV. We saw children who went to the pool.

Place smelled like cigarettes but that's Nevada casinos for ya. I've won a good amount from the slots here so I can't complain.

Larry Glenn Anderson karaoke is amazing. Sunday nights at 9 p.m. . Really wish they would get a craps table in the casino. It's really a bummer there are no craps tables. The comp dollars you receive from playing make this casino the best in the states.

Experience was nice. The cooling unit in our room didn't work very well, so it was a warm stay. That made it uncomfortable, but others I was traveling with had another room, they had to turn down the unit because it was working perfectly. Had that changed, it would have been a great stay.

The original batmobile is literally on the casino floor. Was awesome!

Nice place to RV .... I suggest that they get a better quality of doggie poop bags.
