The fried rice was fine, but the sushi was completely rotten. We spent $40, having called the restaurant to let them know of the quality issue. The lady told me nobody else is complaining and hung up.

We ve been going here since they opened, preferring it over others in town. Sadly, this was our last visit.

Food was impressive though mainly from the presentation experience, not a big deal. Service was terrible, did not get multiple of what we ordered. Waiters were bad communicators (bad with English) and when asked about a messed up order were hostile. Low key forced into excepting the wrong order. Waiters were also talking down about each other. Not worth it. Stars only for the presentation which was made awkward due to the chef and waiter.

Came in when they opened, but weren t able to serve me for over thirty minutes. It s like they just started getting their place ready to open... the minute they opened.

Got the all-you-can-eat sushi. Nothing to write home about, but not bad either. Certainly worth the $15 price tag.

Crab rangoons and gyoza were redeeming though. Definitely recommend as appetizers (or sides for the buffet).

Service was very good despite the frustrating delay. I would come back for the bargain all-you-can-eat deal, for sure.

Place is in a random shopping center so if you werent looking for it you would never find it. Yeah Kanye and Kim K. Ate there....place is dark at night and doesnt have a real restaurant feel to it. Some of their teppan chefs have some lewd stories that might not be good for younger ears if they are nearby. I got up and walked out, because of the lack of decorum and candor from their teppan chefs. Id rather go to Sakura.

I stopped in based on all the good reviews. I had four different kinds of fish including sushi, sashimi, and two rolls. NONE of it had any flavor, I found myself putting more and more soya sauce and wasabi just to taste something at all. I travel a fair amount so I've had quite a bit of sushi in my day, this place had no flavor and seem to be waterlogged fish......

Maybe they're hot food is good, but stay away from the sushi menu.

The closest to Tokyo you can get in Flagstaff. This is a great sushi bar. Miso soup is exactly like you would get in Tokyo. Service is good, best at the bar, sushi is exceptionally good, with presentation and quality being the best in Flag. Teppanyaki is good with most cooks being rather flamboyant. Best value for sushi in Flagstaff. Really busy Friday night, with their sushi special. Owned by an older Japanese couple who are serious about good flavors. The main sushi chef is their son and he really cares about putting quality product out. Like any real sushi bar the availability of fish fluctuates but is always very fresh. Only sushi bar in flag that gets regular delivery multiple days a week, which means their fish is always fresh. Best ama ebi in town. Very experienced chef who can prepare anything you ask for.

When we walked in we were greeted by the host and was sitting us down in a hibachi table and the guy that cooks at those tables told the host to share a table with two other ppl cuz he didn t want to have to clean another table... we are a family of 8 and with COVID it was uncomfortable for us and for the other ppl we were going to share the table with so the host told us that it was fine she was putting us at the other table and the guy started complaining and asked US if we really didn t want to share a table. And we told him no, so he rolled his eyes and stared complaining some more in front of us and flipped off the other guy that was in the kitchen. It was the worst service I ve ever experience!

They put us to share a hibachi table with another 3 person ok enough distance , after they brought another family with at least 7 members.
During pandemic come on wake up people now we are very close one to another.
Hibachi chef was spraying some kind of liquid inside the clients mouth to the point of touch his lips with the bottle.
Enough for my family not to come back.
By the way food was not that great either.

Made reservations for our friends 30th birthday for 8pm. There was 2 reservations before us both at 7:30 and 7:45. We showed up at 7:45pm, the 7:30 party was not sat yet. The 7:45 party showed up late to their time slot as well but that is a whole another issue.

The front girl told us they sat 3 large groups knowing they have 3 large groups that made reservations for that night. After that there was zero communication with the wait staff until we were sat at 8:30 along with the other 2 groups that were sat 10-15 before us which was fine since they had reservations as well.

Only 2 chefs were on staff that evening. We will did not served until almost 9:30 with our chef.

When it came time for the bill they refused to do anything to help the situation that they admitted too and did nothing to help with. The waiter said she had to call the manager, since he was not on site which blew my mind that there was manager or supervisor on site this evening.

After all that we had to pay the bill and they Audacity to add a 20% tip to the bill when we only had 6 people in our party.

I will never return here and I pray this review helps people stay away from this awful business and the subpart staff.

This restaurant is somewhat of a hidden gem. It's rather difficult to find if you're from out of town and not familiar with the area, but it is well worth looking for. The interior is very pleasing and cozy, the nigiri sushi were deliciously prepared and reasonably priced. The employees made me feel welcome, a great experience.

Unfortunately our experience here was a big confusing letdown. It was really one thing after another with our whole order, but I'll just say this: if you're going for sushi, I don't recommend this place unless you actually just want a bunch of California rolls with different toppings & different names, ranging from $7-$12. Bizarre.

Slimy rotten smelling fish! Service was ok, but I couldn t believe how bad the quality of the fish, and rice was!!! I have never been forced to return food, but my girlfriend and I literally couldn t stomach it. She spit her piece into a napkin it was so gross. They gave us an extremely hard time about not making us pay for the rotten food, and actually still had to pay almost the full amount for it. You couldn t pay me to eat here again. At least not the sushi. So frustrating that they don t know when to throw it away, and instead willing to give someone, such a terrible experience... Also if you google it, the pieces of fish separating...not a good sign. Also the table smelling like rotten nether regions, not a good sign..

SLOW, UNORGANIZED, CROWDED & UNABLE TO COMMUNICATE. Went to get pick-up food & had to go inside. Was nervous. The lobby was full. I stood in the corridor. Took too long for seating so I stood outside in the cold looking in. Waiting for the host to see all the groups. Went back inside and now the hostess was nowhere. Saw full tables. 2 tables of young people playing drinking games, talking loud &* laughing mask-less. I envisioned the videos I saw of saliva going in a 2 D cloud. I went back outside. Saw her come back so went back inside. Told her about my order. She said what did you order? Idk but it's under "----". She says 5 min. I go back outside. Wait then call. Ask her if my order is ready & I don't feel comfortable standing in the full capacity restaurant. She asks me the same questions. She said 5 min. I wait another 5 min. I go back inside. She asks me SAME questions like she has never seen me. I said I just saw you and talked to you over the phone! YDL! Now I am steaming. I am ready to cancel my order and she brings it up under...what do you know "----" She says give me 5 min! YDL! Originally it was 15 minutes now it's going on 30 min. I heard someone coughing and it was the young partying group and so I ran outside. Ok, no more inside pickups! YDL to the nth degree! Teppan Fuji is slow, unorganized, crowded and unable to communicate. I rather get curb side pick up at a restaurant that makes it quick, easy and safe!

First time here. Wanted sushi and instead of going to my normal spot ( Hiros) I decided to drop in. Place was pretty dead for dinner. Sat at the bar. I find that there was a young kid in the back of the sushi bar touching everything to be under health code regulation.
First started woth green tea, wasn't expecting it to be from a tea bag. All the other places i have gone served authentic Japanese green tea. I then ordered 2 rolls ( the rainbow and tuna roll) with Gyoza on the side. The Gyoza tasted as if they were frozen from Safeway, the tuna roll was awful, the seaweed was so dry. The rainbow roll barely had any sushi on it and for the size of it, it was not worth $10.95. Overall, for authentic Japanese and sushi, I won't be back. I can m

Food was ok but I go to hibachi / teppan for the show as well! Our cook at the table had no flair and just cooked everything as quick as possible. Undercooked the vegetables in my opinion too. Seriously though, not even a onion volcano?!

Clean and practicing safe distance seating. My daughter and I were craving sushi and decided to try here. First actual sit down restaurant meal either of us have done since mid-March. Sevice was excellent and food was as well.

So went to Teppan Fuji for dinner 11-15-2019; everything was nasty to say the least. The salad was frozen and the soup was so fishy I couldn t eat it. No fish in the soup so they said. The firecracker roll was sub par. Then steak and lobster for 32.95 was so bad I couldn t chew the meat. The quality of the meat was poor and the lobster tasted very old. The server didn t listen at all, told her that there was an onion allergy and yet there was onion in the soup and when the dinner came the fried rice also had onion, when we asked if it had onion she said no but we pulled a onion off the top of the rice and handed it to her. Will never suggest the restaurant or return.

If possible I'll give less than 0 rating. Food was not great, the server we had was absolutely horrible, rude, didn't really care about customer service. My entire table was appalled by the server's disgusting attitude.

Worst restaurant ever. If you want to pay your money to eat garbage, this is the place for you. Pick up the trash from dumpster and eat it would be better choice. They make you wait for hour after you order then tell you some of your orders will take long so if I want to cancel them. They make the worst sushi and roll in the world. I am definitely sure that chef had never made a sushi in his life before.

Worst experience ever, I told them I was allergic to Avacado, and the two I ordered said no avacado, and the waitress even confirmed it when I ate 3 bites I realized there was avocado in my sushi, I rush out to get Benadryl, when I returned they were making my wife feel like it was our fault, I could not agure due to my throat feeling discomfort. They only took off the one sushi and charged us the rest, we didn't even get to Finish everything. Our family night was ruined, we will never go there again. Luckily the Benadryl I got worked.
