We have had sushi here on a number of occasions it s always fresh and tasteful. The main attraction however is the Teppanyaki tables. We enjoy bringing our kids here, they always like the show the cook puts on. Good service, tasteful food.

Honestly, the best sushi place in Flagstaff. Great staff, great atmosphere, and the best Japanese food I've ever had. Seriously, get the steak fried rice, it'll be the best you've ever have.
I can't wait to eat here again! It's been over a year since we ate here last, and our experience was the best yet. My understanding is it's being ran under new ownership and they are doing it right! My favorite was the maguro tuna rolls, they where fresh and delicious.
They use excessive amounts of rice, avocado, cucumber, and cheese to fill you up. If they're trying to save money, they should raise the price-point of the all-you-can-eat menu and balance the fish to rice ratio. I would rather pay more than eat giant rolls filled with rice or nigiri that sit on huge cubes of rice. It's almost laughable how obvious they are in an attempt to fill their customers up without having to make that extra roll or two or serve more sushi. the quality of the rice was low. The rice issue aside, the food was pretty mediocre. It might be one of the better sushi places in Flagstaff, but since that is the case, maybe just don't get sushi in Flag? It's not worth the money you end up spending. There are better sushi places in Phoenix. The staff were friendly, though. And, there seemed to be a lot of college kids having fun with the cooks/entertainers, so if that is the experience you're looking for, then you might like this place (I mean that in a serious way). It also seemed like they have a good happy hour deal on Sundays, FYI.
The chef was very friendly and have a good show. The food was not seasoned while cooking and came out very bland. I had to ask for more teriyaki sauce for the chicken and had to salt and pepper the rice.
It's very delicious. It's great. Every day off, the boss is fat, super good.I like the beef in his shop best, and what kind of fried rice? it's great. The atmosphere is very good, suitable for the party, friends to set up as soon as possible
I love this place. It is perfect whether you want just a casual dinner with friends for some amazing sushi or a celebratory night out at the teppan bar, I have never been disappointed. Hands down the best sushi in Flagstaff, and the staff is always super fun, friendly and never fails to make the experience brilliant.
Great food! They have an all you can eat sushi deal. I've never seen that before and didn't try it but it sounded like a good deal. I had one of their lunch boxes with teriyaki shrimp and it was very good and pretty quick.
Ordered 30 dollars of food which included a roll of sushi which was fine. Got 6 pieces for 14 dollars. Then, I ordered mochi for 6 dollars and got two pieces which is a total rip off. I should have bought it from the store. I also ordered a 9 dollar avocado salad which was literally just a cut up avocado on top of a measly amount of iceberg lettuce. Lamest salad I ve ever seen in my life.
Great place if you re hungry lots of food. Chefs are professional good flavor and the filet was amazing! Staff is super friendly I would definitely check it out.
I came here under the VI19. I saw the owner sanitized the each booths and table /the door when the customers left. This very important in this time .the waitress and sushi chefs all wear the face mask.the food was delicious also.
The hibachi chef was so funny and friendly, the food was fantastic, when we ate here they just remodeled the sushi bar, so we sat at hibachi table, this my first time ate hibachi,it s was amazing!
We didn't get to enjoy the Hibachi because of Covid restrictions, but we samples seven different sushi rolls, all of which were fantastic and worth going for
I went for the sushi buffet at lunch time. The price for 15.95 is not bad at all. You have a selection of rolls ranging from cali rolls, crunch crab rolls, to tuna, salmon, eel nigiri and more. They also have appetizers on the menu. Just dont forget if you blatantly over order they will charge u for unfinished food. The reason for 2 stars is the rice was undercooked on all the rolls and sushi we had. They also pack the nigiri and rolls with tons of rice. Probably as a deterrent for you ordering too much.
Ordered for takeout while visiting in town. Good quality sushi and rolls but their takeout soy sauce was horrible. Would recommend they choose different brand.
We made reservations online and were sat very quickly. It was a bit of a wait for food but they were exceptionally busy. We sat at the teppan table and Scout was our chef. It was such a fun experience and the food was fantastic. We had several different meat and seafood choices for the hibachi dinner and everyone's food was delicious. We will definitely come back; my 8 year old asked to do this for his birthday dinner later this year!
Had a great experience here. Staff was awesome and food was on point. Didn't do sushi just teppanyaki. I would definitely go again. Chef was awesome and supper funny. Guy from LA. Great time.
Horrible Customer Service. We were staying in Munds Park on a Monday and decided to call ahead to get a reservation for 2 at a cook table, the women who answered the phone said we don t need one at a cook table since they are slow, to just walk in. When we got there, a woman asked if we had reservations, and we explained we called ahead and was told we did not need them. (By the way, there was only one cook table that was taken).
The fish was okay and fresh enough, however we went for their All You Can Eat special and they bulk up the rice so much that it's absolutely absurd. I don't want to eat half a cup of rice with every piece of nigiri or have my roll be surrounded by three quarters of an inch of rice. Not worth it.
The best Japanese restaurant, I first time came here 3 years ago the food and service not good ,friends told me now is more better than before, I just have a try,but it is surprised the hibachi super fun,the sushi more better than Kama and heros, highly recommend,we definitely be back!
I took my girlfriend last night for her birthday dinner and we had one the best experiences in a long time. The remodel is beautiful and inviting. Our server was so polite it was a treat to be served from a happy person who loves her job. We had plenty of private time and the food was delicious! Also they were very helpful with the menu description when we had a question. They played music and sang her happy birthday after we we're finished with dinner. I can't wait to return and try other items on the menu. Great experience!
I placed a pickup order with these guys. I received a confirmation saying they got my order and would be ready in 20 minutes. I arrive 20 minutes later and they didn't even realize I ordered something. Now I have to wait in their lobby for them to make it.
Did hibachi. Cook was fun and kept our kids entertained. Food was cooked well and big portion. Downside was server who brought drinks. Was possibly a short staffing issue but, we saw her at the beginning of the meal and not again till close to the end. Had to ask the cook when he was done to find her so our section could get refills.
Good food. Happy hour is the best with great deals! Wait staff is really nice, sometimes it is hard to get the check or get a server to the table. Depends on the day
Scout was the best chef I've had, supper friendly and an awesome cook! Alexis was an awesome waitress, fun and very helpful. Best hybochi restaurant I've been to.
Jalapeno of Queen was delicious and the service was wonderful (quick and attentive). The menu was very large and there was something for everyone. Prices were very reasonable. Sushi was unique and there were a couple of rolls that were made with soy paper instead of seaweed which my family really appreciated. The Golden Phoenix was a sweet roll that would be great as a dessert or something to help cool off your tongue after a spicy roll.
Terrible, I called ahead if they had WIFI and they said yes. Asked the host what is the password it did not work then asked my waitress and she told me the wrong password really fast. I told her to wait a sec and please give it to me and she just put her hands in the air. I would never go to this place for the fact they really don't care about customer service.
The best Japanese restaurant in flagstaff, friendly service and tasty food, the best Happy hour specials,I love the firecrackers roll only$ 7.95 for happy hour specials, the shrimp tempura was crispy also.we will come back to try the lunch all you can eat sushi buffet.
Loud and boisterous teppan, lots of banter, awesome staff, dinner and a show is really the takeaway here. Excellent steak, chicken, scallops, and more. Well rounded selection of sushi rolls. Loved it.
My wife and I eat here at least twice a week. The staff has come to know us and are very friendly. Sometimes they are too soft spoken for my failed hearing. The sushi has always been very consistent and the price/quality cannot be beat in Flagstaff. Even in this trying time of takeout only we have not been let down.
Wanted to try this place at noon on a Saturday. Walked in to be greeted by gangster rap playing for ambiance, and a few angry looking employees that just glared at us. Waited a few minutes to get seated and no one came over, so me and my wife left. Noticed that there was not a single customer other than us. Can't imagine why.
The all u can eat lunch is good and a reasonable price. The eel is excellent and seaweed salad was quite good. The rice was a little mushy (not bad) and you do have to eat it... Anything left uneaten gets charged extra. I will be back.
Food is great, prices are little high but well worth it. Had hibachi dinner and the chef we had was great. He made it a great experience for my family and put on a great show. Food tasted great . Just be aware I did see some other chefs there that were not as joyful and fun as the chef we had.
