It's fun, but not really appealing to the older kids and teens. Not a whole lot to do. 4 exhibition rooms with different tables to do things at. But overall not how it used to be when I went last. Food court Is good but 40$ for 2 people to eat is an insane amount. The dome isn't high quality, laggs a lot with the live demo. Unsure about the movies if they're live as well. But kinda disappointed with the quality overall.

Fairly Disappointed. It was $75 for 2 adults and one child. A lot of things were broken, and there is not much to the entire building.

We spent about an hour and a half and saw everything aside from the planetarium.

Really seems like a price gouge, especailly as they charge for parking! I think it's fairly sad that the price leaves the center so inaccessible for a lot of lower income families, all while not offering a lot, especially with so many broken items.

Probably our first snd last visit.

The new facility is fantastic. I was there with a toddler and there was plenty to keep him engaged. We didn't even get through the entire kid center area on our first visit.
I can't compare it to the old place as I vaguely remember it but I was very impressed.

This is an amazing place to visit with kids of any age! The outdoor area is incredible, the exhibits are always interesting and the food is delicious. I can t recommend it enough! It is always worth getting a membership. Kids are free until three are 3. If you buy a membership just before they turn 3 they let you keep the free admission for the whole year. If you renew your membership early they give you two extra months free. They have tons of deals like this to make getting a membership worth it!!

Currently they just opened the Circus Exhibit and it is amazing. It is so interactive and fun for all ages. Adults included.

The food is really fresh and tasty. They pride themselves on getting ingredients locally and it shows. The prices are reasonable too!

Adult nights are so much fun. Lots of great activities for the whole family to enjoy as well. You can definitely spend a good few hours to a half day here playing all the immersive games and building activities. The new restaurant has lots of tasty and affordable food.

Very fun place to take the kids! Telus offers a really large science museum and a while day of fun filled activities! The favorite if my kids seemed to be the water area and the electricity area.

Great place if you have a yearly pass. Way too much to go once. The food place in Sparks is a cool idea but so over priced. The kids area is worth the yearly pass. That water table keeps my kid busy for hours.

The building and facility is amazing. Everything else... Leaves a bit to be desired. I find the inside to be quite empty feeling. But they do bring in all the great traveling exhibits.

Additionally, adults only night is way too overpriced first of all to get in. Secondly the drinks are 8 dollars, which is way too much for a partially cooled bottle of beer.

Nice learning activity outting for kids and adults alike. I also enjoy their adults on nights along with the various travelling exhibits plus the movies/special shows they have in their theatres. My only complaint is the sheer cost of having a day there. They have specials and coupons that help but I am not sure it's worth the money on a regular basis.

Went to a Drive In movie at Telus Spark, what a great idea!! Covid friendly, really fun experience, took the kids to Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and they had a blast. I hope they keep it going.

Good date idea. Attended the Adults only night Valentine's special. You can check out all of the normal science exhibits on these nights plus more.
There's also some activities, though its rather busy. There was a presentation from PHD students about love and infidelity (a bit dry).
A vendor from a adults store had demonstrations and displays. Drinks were well over priced and so were the snacks.

Telus spark is an amazing place to visit with kids. They have a great indoor play tower and multiple other activity areas to engage your kids (Dam building, block towers, climbing wall, wheel jump, mini theatre). It is absolutely worth getting a membership, makes it super affordable and covers parking. Great to place to go when it's cold outside. My boy is 14 months old and he's loves the "under 3" area as well as a few other stations. He can easily spend 2+ hours here just playing around.

This review is based off my first and last time going to an "Adult Night"

Man oh man, if you like standing in line and getting nowhere fast this is the place for you.
When I paid $50+ to go to and event called "Through the Haze (The Science of Cannabis)" I thought I would be hearing something about the science of cannabis.....Wow was I wrong.
Me and my GF got there about 15 mins early, which we then got to wait in line to pay for parking and then wait in another line to actually get in (you'll see this pattern repeat)
The first thing that we saw after getting in to this "adult" night were a bunch of table that could best be described as Arts and Crafts for 4 year olds.
The rest of the night was just standing in lines.
wan't able to learn anything at all. There was one hall with a PowerPoint and that was it, it was packed within the first 30mins and then no one else could make it in.
There were lines for everything and nothing was worth it. Stood in line for a ticked for a drink, then had to stand in line for the drink, then had to stand in line for a PowerPoint for over 40 mins and we missed the talk altogether anyways.
Total disaster!
Do not waste your money. I wish I could get mine back.

My kids love this place 8 and up, the current display is perfect for kids to help understand the all the different moving parts of humans and animals! Highly recommended a visit. Great value, something for everyone and you can easily burn a day!! Everyone loves science!!

The Spark is fun and our kids always have a good time. I find I still don t enjoy it as much as the old one. I also find that ever time we go a certain amount of the displays are broken and not working properly. Play area is fun and the water table. The outdoor slides and everything are also great. We have caught a few of the experiments in the main lobby. One was a pumpkin drop from the second level. Some were coloured flames. Neat stuff that the kids liked. The latest Whale exhibit was also quite interesting.

So much fun!!! We went 3 times in a row and enjoyed it to the fullest. They have different themes it seems like a few times a year. Stations for all ages, and a cafeteria with restaurant style food. We had a pass but if you go without a pass it is very expensive which is the only down side. The price is worth it if you go all day.

Upside: Great for kids and families, everything here is for interactive playing. The Whales Tahora exhibit was absolutely amazing! The exhibits tie in local and regional phenomena (prairie weather, the water cycle through mountains, etc) which was cool. Downside: It would be nice to have more obvious signage about what/ when shows are playing in the dome theatre instead of having to ask staff members. It was also a bit confusing whether a show was in progress, or where the entrance (there are 3) is.

Went for the 50th anniversary of the moon landing plus beer. The beer was good and seeing a bit of the mission control was fun but it seemed strangely hard to interact with the exhibits, possibly because they were too close together for the sound ones to work well and there were too many people per exhibit.

Great place to take your kids to burn some energy. But it's also very busy on the weekends and smells like stinky socks at the indoor play area. If you order food from upstairs, it takes a long time during peak hours.

Really glad they re opened, it was a blast and quiet enough that there was no long wait for the stations. Staff was amazing, and the safety precautions are taken seriously. Super good time and will go again.

I'm awestruck by my experience at Telus spark. So much so that I'm not even bothered by the $10 parking. We saw the body works exhibit and bought tickets in advance. Definitely buy tickets in advance. The employees were all pretty chill, and I even held a human heart in my hands - don't worry, it was part of the exhibit.

Really fun for all ages. You can spend all day here and if the weather is ok the outside park is original and the kids love it. We buy annual passes and usually visit at least once a month.

Great place for kids, not so much for other age ranges (although I haven't experienced the adult night). It was a bit disappointing with the amount/quality of science-related exhibits, comparedto other science centres.
