There are a number of different areas and attractions, with great variety in what you can do and learn. Fantastic options for all ages - my little one (18 months old) had a great time!

I would have to agree with most of the lower rated reviews. Parking and admission cost is way too much for what is offered. The layout felt unorganized and the exhibits seemed amateurish and many were damaged.
There are way better places in Calgary to spend your day and money. I wouldn't recommend Spark and don't ever plan on returning.

Great place for kids. Educational yet fun. Watched the 3D dinosaur movie and kids loved it. Find the price quite expensive tho. Will definitely spend at least 2 hrs.here to explore and go around everything. If your kids love science this place is a must to visit.

Our two kids love spending time at Telus Spark. The new Circus theme is really cool and there is a lot to explore. I do wish they carried some of the theme and excitement into the kids area. The baby area always has the same toys and it would be nice to see some changes in that area to increase engagement. The food is also a hit with our family as well! The lime fries are delicious.

My daughter loved her school visit here. As an engineer, I appreciated being able to talk scientific with her. The outdoor play area is also cool. There s a lot to see and do outdoors as well.

We love TELUS Spark! It's a great place for kids to just be kids - get messy, get creative, be loud, ask questions! The staff are very kid friendly. A year pass was definitely worth it. We're still not tired of going. The park is awesome, and we really enjoyed their Stampede pancake breakfast.
I didn't give it the full 5 stars because there are a few exhibits in need of repairs. Very frustrating for kids to work on something that doesn't respond the way it should, or keeps falling apart because of ill fitting pieces. However, there aren't too many of those.

Very underwhelming. Not focused on science learning, more focused on entertainment. Poor exhibits, poor interactive displays. Typical of all museums in Calgary, poorly managed, poorly curated and totally ignorable. I'd drive to Edmonton to see some museums if that's what you're after.

This is an amazing location to spend a day with kids or even as an inquisitive adult. The outdoor play area and junkyard building area are great (my only complaint as a an adult is I couldn't go into the junkyard). There are often great temporary exhibits (BodyWorlds and Circus Science) but the permanent exhibits are pretty cool too. Love the fact the Dome shows are included in the price of admission too.

Dissapointed. I am proud to say that I am a science nerd, I love all aspects of science and the applications in every moment of our lives. I feel that the opportunity given to Calgary to build a brand new science centre was poorly squandered. Given the age of technology that we live in and the time that this centre was created I expected so much more.

Unfortunately most of the displays would be more ground breaking if they occurred in the 60's than they do now. Not to say that they aren't relevant; but my child can learn equally as well from watching a blade of grass flow through a gutter after a rainfall than some of the exhibits.

It's over priced, poorly managed and a shameful display of the amazement and wonderment of what science truly is.

Paid over $50 for two tickets to the cannabis adult night. Was expecting a lot of information and exhibits. What I got was huge line ups to actually see the educational part... most of the regular attractions were broken or out of order.

The room with the speakers (when you finally got in) had extremely little seating, people were sitting on the floor where chairs should have been. After 30 minutes I wanted to leave because of how ripped off I felt.

They advertised 'risky science' but what you got was pipe cleaner arts and crafts and over priced booze.

I don't see a reason to ever go to the spark again.

Amazing

Went with my BFF for the Valentine's Your Brain on Love and we did dinner, too. The premise was great, but the execution was AWFUL!!! $85/ticket for subpar food, poor quality essential oils, and a Facebook survey to see how long people were couples. The photographer was fun but still can't find our photos from the event. Very disappointed. Best part was chatting with the other people at our table at dinner.

It's a bit limited compared to other science museums I've been to. Some of the materials, particularly the energy related ones, really need to be repaired and upgraded. The creative studio upstairs, however, is fantastic: disassembling tech items, making animations, adding soundtracks. The outdoor stuff is pretty cool as well. They really need like one more exhibit hall, though. The rotating exhibits aren't quite enough.

Definitely understand that this is a science museum geared towards families. Very interactive and fun for the kids, but if you want to learn new things on a more advanced level, you'll want to visit an traditional science centre.

Great attractions and the admission cost includes free entry to the Dome Theatre. Unlimited viewing :). The attractions were really neat. I felt the place was a little bit small but great for children and kid camps!

The individual entrance ticket price 8s on the high side for a single visit but a annual pass is excellent value if you have kids. Despite the fact that kids are interacting with the displays on a daily basis, they are good condition and well maintained (I have been to science centres in the past where a good percentage of displays are under repair/out of service). They also have adult nights there but I have yet to check one out.

The kids love it, lots of fun things to do. Can be very busy on holidays/ days off school. I hate that they play with toys at the entrance and hand them over to kids to play with because my kids are always upset that they don t get to keep them. It seems like a mean way to get sales

Great space with many areas of science to be explored. Always a lot of helpful staff around. The cost is very high for a family of four. We have avoided buying any annual pass as it is always busy during our visits. So busy that you cannot get close to exhibits. It would be great if there was a day a month which was dedicated to special needs people and children who get overstimulated in such a busy, noisy environment.

Had a great experience at Telus Spark! There is so many great exhibits and conventions. The new circus convention is great, and the dome theatre is wonderful! I am very satisfied with my visit.
