Overpriced and of very little value. Took my son and my nephew and niece. They had very little fun and the food was overpriced and all the flavor of finely cooked cardboard. Avoid this money pit. It's a complete waste of time. There are far better attractions in Calgary then this dump.

Pretty large place than where I live( Edmonton, Telus World of Science of Edmonton). Lots of places to visit along with many interactive interactions. The gallery and exhibits (circus exhibit) was very fun. Only downside was paying $10 for parking. But since we are members, we got a $5 voucher coupon for free food or up to $5 at the gift shop, which is always nice. Great place.

A decent STEM and exploring destination for kids and families. One of the most popular places for field trips in Calgary. The tickets might get a little pricy. Not a lot of food options, only one restaurant/fast food bar, it is recommended to pack your own meal. Telus Spark offers special events, displays, and presentations throughout the year. The exhibits include hands-on interactive activities which is a good feature. Overall, a pretty standard and average science museum.

Very clean, you pay for parking, but get the amount of parking off of your admission price. We went to see the animal body worlds. Was not very exciting to me. The area for kids to interact and play is great!

Great for kids, when there's enough staff. Not a lot here for adults. A little Oil biased, but I can't blame them for that. Would like to see a little more Science and a little less "Keep the kids busy"

Great date idea, especially if you go on an adult only night!

They have so many things to explore plan for at least a few hour visit. I really enjoyed how interactive pretty much everything is. Certainly worth checking out!

This is definitely a must see place. However the price is a bit high for the majority. We happened to get invited as a family for children that participated in a learning activity held there. Lots of parking for everyone. Indoor stuff galore. But at over $30/ person, it might be something that isn't a regular visit. Many things on main floor as well as second floor. The theater is simply amazing as well

This place was so fun! They opened early with an awesome kids area at 9 am that my 3 year old and 1 year old both loved. The exhibits were a lot of fun and it was definitely money well spent. The cafeteria took a long time but the food was exceptional.

My best impression was the staff. They handled massive crowds of kids and adults like total champs. Always so helpful and kind . I watched them deal with missing kids and serving food to masses....just a bunch of pros here. Amazing. Keep up the great work. From security to the cooks to the attendants. You guys represent Telus exceptionally well and I hope the brass appreciates your dedication. You all deserve serious positive appreciation. And a raise.

Star Trek "Experience" was more like Star Trek Carnival show. Our experience was exhibits that had to be rebooted and were poorly maintained. Want to experience diagnosing a crew man with a tricorder?Line up and watch the people in front of you struggle to get RFID tags to register because we all know where they are because they don't change between groups. I knew exactly what to do but still timed out because the tag on the arm wasn't working (spoilers) Want to experience what it is like to use a phaser? Well line up on the right because only one of two stations actually has a phaser. And by experience we mean "engage in mini-game where you shoot at 4 static icons on static background." Don't worry about your aim, focus on the on-screen target reticule because the alignment is off. The left station doesnt have a phaser but a generic black arcade game handgun which couldn't even hit targets on the right side of screen. Want to learn Klingon? After instructions from the first Klingon with a Jamaican accent, prepare to become increasingly frustrated as you and the people around you shout over each other. No one in our group nor anybody else I saw completed a phrase successfully and one of our group actually spoke Klingon. Want to experience the Kobayashi Maru test on a fairly decent replica of the Enterprise D bridge? Get ready to make 1 of 4 choices a few times while watching cut scenes mixed with 1980's laserdisc gaming technology.

There are a few props from the various shows and in someways it's interesting to see the difference between display models and ones actually used in scenes. A few interesting prosthetics that could interest non-fans but mostly Star Fleet uniforms which to average person isn't that impressive (space pajamas)

If you see one of the space related dome shows (caution: this is not part of the package) you will be treated to a live voiceover where the narrator stumbles over some awkward Star Trek references. Not saying the narrator was bad, just that these inserts broke her flow in a speech she has probably done many of times.

The worst part of it all: We had to pay extra for this. Unless you go on a Thursday night, you cannot just see the side show. Anybody without young children may have experienced this: There is not a lot going on at the new Science Centre. The building seems like a monument to wasted space and more effort seems to be put into the Gift Shop and Cafeteria than the maintenance of exhibits.

We bought tickets to see the urban survival show, and were extremely disappointed. I'm really bummed we even wasted the money on it, there were three booths, two had nothing to do with urban survival. We thought it might be redeemed by the "build your own bow and arrow," but it was just a bunch of little sticks and string with no guidance. Didn't seem like the right kind of sticks, and without anyone to tell us what to even do with them, and everyone else looking like they were just guessing, we decided to leave. Urban survival was an awesome concept but they put absolutely no thought into it what so ever. We will probably never buy tickets for an adult night here again because we didn't feel we got our money's worth at all, $26 a ticket, $8 each for drink tickets, and $5 parking = $92 wasted , and we didn't get to learn anything. We didn't have any expectations going in but learning how to use a fire starter and tie a piece of string to a stick was definitely not what we had in mind.

There were no special exhibits open at the time we went, but still there was plenty to do even on a busy day. The cafeteria did was good but the wait time was not reasonable. They do not have a good system in place to have a high throughput of people. You have to wait in line with all the people ordering food even just to buy only a coffee

The old Science Center was better. However, they do have a lot of activities for younger children and adults alike. It's a big space, and it just seems like a lot of the space is wasted. I would recommend going to their special exhibits like Body Worlds when they come into town

So many interesting and fun things to do, even for adults. The dome show was awesome. The main exhibit was being changed so we missed out on that. The lunch spot was good and offered hot and cold food, cafeteria style.

A lovely place for kids to learn by playing. Science is first and foremost. However, kids will learn without realizing it. Full of engaging exhibits, outdoor playground, theatre, restaurant and so much more.

For those edmontonians visiting, it was very similar to our telus world of science. I had a wonderful experience here. I learned a lot about the human body, electricity, magnetism, and the cosmos. Unfortunately they close early so it might be a good idea to get there early in the day (i know from experience), and the parking was not free. However despite these drawbacks I had a nice time here.

$69 for 2 adults and 1 child admission, plus $10 on parking?!? Save your money and take your active kids to a local indoor play place. There is a new area which is tailored to younger children, but expect it to be heavily overcrowded on the weekends. Most of the displays have a point to get across, however without an interpreter to show most people the intended use the whole idea is lost.

Not worth the high price of admission. Doesn't even include a show in the HD theatre. Exhibits were mediocre at best, my 8 and 11 year old were bored as the exhibits were really geared towards much younger kids.

Absolutely amazing. I love to take my young kids here. We have yearly passes which make it much more affordable, and nearly everything is hands on and kid friendly, let alone their play area which is basically a kingdom built for kids with just about everything you could think of.

Even when it's super packed, the whole place is so big with so much to do, so it never feels crowded.

Definitely a must for parents and kids who don't want to stay home all winter bored.

We just got an annual good membership. The kids loved it, so much to see and do! The dome show was fantastic, a pretty cool experience. The outside area is fun but it was too hot today to stay outside long. Overall, we are excited to go back and play with some more things that we didn't have time to do today!
