The museum is great, the changing events are fun, we saw the circus one and my 3 year old loved it. However, the wifi was impossible to attach too. I asked 2 staff and they couldn't help.

Truly a great example of the modern approach to the science center.
My son absolutely loves Telus Spark. So much to see and do!
I understand how the zoo costs thirty bucks to get into but this is a rip off. Thanks Telus. Not surprised
Everyone was friendly and helpful. The kids play area has lots of fun stuff for the little ones to enjoy. Also had lunch in their restaurant, it was delicious!
Our daughter is 2, she had fun with many activities including the water station and the outdoor park, in the entry way that had big foam blocks to build stuff with which she also enjoyed. Many of the activities are age dependent and so somethings may be beyond her abilities. The price for having two adults accompany her for the stuff she did do was a bit much. Will definitely love going there when she is a bit older ( I think 5+ would be best )
Enjoyed animals inside out exhibition, very informative and different. Always fun to spend a day learning at the science center.
The body worlds exhibit was great and the dome show was fun, but the energy / oil exhibit was nauseating. No child cares to read about pipelines and different layers of the tar sands. That doesnt invoke inspiration or wonder for science. Why bore them at a young age..
So fun, expensive, but if you spend all day there it makes up for it!!
You don't get much for what you pay for... I liked the old science center better. It still has the basics, but it certainly doesn't have enough in it for a day trip without paying extra for Star Trek stuff.
It was neat but very expensive! $10 just to park! Exhibits didn't hold a candle to the Telus world of science in Edmonton. There was water at one of the exhibits and it was a mess my kid slipped and whacked his head. He was standing still when it happened.
I have been here a couple of times and its very great, there are many places in the museum which increase knowledge of science.
Visited from Toronto. Smaller compared to the Ontario Science Centre, but larger than Science East in New Brunswick. Definitely worth it to see-- loved that the theatre showings were included with general admission rather than a separate fee like in Ontario. Exhibits were more hands-on and kid oriented in comparison to Science Centre, which focuses on displays instead of workshops I think
Terrific interactive experience for adults and kids alike. A little expensive however!
We went to their adult night for the first time, SO much fun (and great food in their restaurant!).
Attended a Symposium and was able to take in the displays at Telus Spark great place for kids to have hands on experience with science. A must do with kids
Good fun for the whole family Updated exhibits and an outdoor play area keep the experience fresh
We have five children aged between 2 and 9 year old. Each child finds TELUS Spark extremely interesting. It's a large and modern place with lots of light, different permanent exhibits including lots of hands-on activities. We have annual membership and we did not grow tired of visiting the place from time to time. There is also much to do and explore. The kids love it. There are cool events being held at the science centre such as Mini Maker Fair, Robotics competitions, different temporary visiting exhibitions. There are also awsome science presentations on different subjects (mostly related to Chemistry and Physics) with exciting experiment demonstrations. There is an indoor and outdoor playgrounds directed at learning for any age. You can have a birthday party at the centre - something very interesting for the birthday boy or girl and the guests. Overall, we are absolutely in love with the place.
Great place for the kids to burn off energy while learning at the same time. Lots to do and very interactive.
Perfect attraction for those cold winter days.
Great for kids. It's all about tactile experience with the world, not just displays that explain the world.
This is a fine place to go once, but multiple visits may be stretching it. The science displayed tends to lean a lot towards the oil patch, which is fine, but tends to lose ones interest pretty quickly. On the bright side, they have hourly displays in the main auditorium that can easily catch your attention. It's worth the money once, I'm not sure if it's worth more then that.
My boys (7 & 4) really enjoyed it. I found it pricey though.
Fantastic place to bring your kids. Great little baby & tot play area. Also probably some science stuff.
Science. Lots of science. And done really well. Perfect for kids. 'Nuff said.
Its a great place to learn and explore for people of all ages!
Blow my mind especially for the kids and the movies there were unique.
Great exhibit. It was informative unique and cool. It's a variation on the exhibit known as "bodies "
Went to adult night and it was a perfect date night. A bit overpriced in my opinion.
3 year olds loved it. Spent 5 hours there on a rainy day
Lots to do, kids don't get bored, nice mix of physical and mental involvement. Clean and spacious and good value!
Wonderful experience. Unfortunately the price is rather high. I feel this place should be accessable by all children, not only the ones who can afford the price tag.
Outstanding for kids, hours of exploring. We're long time season pass holders.
One of North America's largest dome theatres is found at Spark. Incredible sound and image clarity. The rest of the facility is your's to explore with many interactive exhibits. Keep an eye on the event calendar and enjoy! It's fun for all ages. The facility is also fully Hani-accessible with plenty of reserved space for those who need it.
Boring, waste of time and money. None of the kids enjoyed the events. Very disappointed.
Free play areas were a little too free, many children behaving violently towards other children. The parents should have been paying more attention to their children.
Amazing exhibits and activities for all ages. Price is a little hefty, but spend a day here and you will not be disappointed.
Great place for children and adults. Lots of hand on interactional and learning. They also have an adults night which is fun. My only feedback is that there is so much open and empty space which could have been utilized better or even at all.
The old science center was like 10 times as cool. Just saying...and it's a total rip off...26 bucks to maybe watch a movie, read and play with Knex...I'm good. Wont return.
Very Little to do and definitely not worth the price but quite fun
Good place if you are looking to have your kid active for an hour or so. Good for 1 year old and up.
We had booked tickets for the Mesmerica dome theatre show, it in itself was quite phenomenal but the theatre wasn't that good. I found the seats uncomfortable and worn down and creaky. The padding is worn through on them and there's no arm room, felt cramped and took away from getting lost in the experience. If they renovated the seats alone it would be a much more enjoyable theatre.
No better place to spend some time with your family
It was an interesting experience, I enjoyed the biology exhibit but not as much as my sister (who's majoring in kinesiology) while I was disappointed in the other exhibit, which was obviously more targeted to young children. Overall, I think it is worth your time checking out
We came for a private function so got a better experience-we probably would not come and pay full price when it is so busy. The catering was superb, I can t speak to the cafeteria. The exhibits were neat, we found several to even get a baby interested. I would have liked to see more air & space, there were a few photos of space stuff and nothing on aviation. Some of the engineering machines could have been more interactive, feed them the balls instead of just watching. Lots of areas inside & out for small and old kids to run off steam. For older kids really only the workshop would be interesting and if it s busy they d be waiting in lines.
Was interesting. Daughter wanted to go there for her birthday again. Had a great day!
Totally cool spot to geek out in. Great for the whole family, something for everyone! Also a great date idea if you are looking to get to know someone better. They always have fine events going on so be sure to check their website and see what they have going on. Everything there SPARKS your imagination. Sorry, I had to.
A little overwhelming to sort out where to go on your own - would be great to go if on a group trip and it's guided. Not really suitable for ages below 6/7. Would be great for 8+ for sure.
BIG WASTE OF MONEY...Very disappointing. Daycare Center for pre-teens and toddlers. I have heard looks of bad reviews from local friends and confirmed it myself. Several years ago our family had yearly membership to the to the old Science World downtown. Obviously, great for kids but leaves nothing to inspire adults. I was thinking it would more technology innovative labs or displays. The place feels like a smaller version of community arts class for toddlers and pre-teens. My teenage daughters were totally bored with the lack of innovation. Not sure whom the curator was in putting this static collection together but it needs a big time review. That being said, I am totally miffed as to the pricing of such a poor display. I will recommend everyone to take their monies elsewhere. Should having parking validation as you pay for parking as well.
The kids really liked the live demo, but we're disappointed by the number of exhibits that were out of order. It's also quite expensive.
My son had so much fun going here. He wants to go back! Such a magical place
The playground that they have is amazingly fun, even if you're an adult.
Their Body Worlds exhibit was simply awesome. I learned things about anatomy that I never knew I didn't know, and I absolutely recommend it to anyone who wants to learn more about the human body.
For toddlers it is fantastic, we bought a season pass after our son's first visit and we continue to go, especially in the winter. I can't say how it holds up for older kids but for toddlers it is well worth the money.
What a space, what a place! There's something for every single age group here. You can spend an entire day and they still have you crawling back for more the next day.
We had an overnight camp with the 1st Bragg Creek / Springbank scouts. Our Beavers loved having the science centre all to their little selves for an evening. The dome is fantastic! The staff are amazing!
Recently bought an annual pass to take my 2 year old. The Creative Kids Museum is fantastic and has lots of activities which keep my daughter entertained for hours. We haven't even ventured into the other exhibits yet. My only complaint is that parking is expensive and I was told that if I bought the annual pass which included parking, other family members would have to buy the same tier. I don't understand this policy.
Attended AON urban survival. Lots of stations. Well organised. Would like to visit again.
Superb experience at telus spark. The experience is concentrated for the children, but the adults find their accounts as well. There are a lot of science activities to experiment with and many employees who offer activities and experiences at any time, inside and out, to motivate children. There is also a very large room with a giant half-sphere screen that presents science and documentary films every half hour. Parking is $ 10 and you reimburse $ 5 on the ticket. Many families take annual passes, it's really a place where kids can go back and learn constantly. Very impressive the degree and number of activities to be done on site.
So much fun for the whole family but it's pricy! $20 for kids seems steep. But it's better to buy a membership if you can go even two more times through the year it will be paid for.
To bad to have a groups of adults at the same time with the elementary schools on the exhibitions. This adults take away some of the things the kids where using before they arrive. And they don't even ask for it.
*If Monday to Friday is reserve for schools from 9 to 14hrs. Why they do for adults rally too?
*Telus should do their rally on exhibitions after 14hrs.
Great spot for the kids. Fun place to visit during rainy, cold or snowy weather.
Very interesting! Must visit stop when your in Calgary
Lovely experience. Beautiful lights. Great stories. Loved the dome
Lots of interesting exhibits and opportunities for kids to explore. Only downfall is the overpriced and bad food in the cafeteria, but easy and open to bringing a lunch.
Lots to do. Just dont go during holiday days. It can get quite busy
The place is nice, however honestly, the prices are absurd. The exhibits are really more "play place" than science. Sure, while taking things apart is fun, it's not exactly science.
Great day out. Theres something for everyone here. Both kids and adults really enjoyed it
The dome was so cool. Would definitely recommend catching a show there. We were sorry we only went to one.
The outdoor play area is still a learning zone which is cool
The only thing I wouldn't recommend is the cafe. The food was over priced and not nice. We had pies and pretzels
TELUS spark is full of immersive fun. A great place to spend family time.
The dome show was ok. It was the mesamerica show. I would suggest any show in there would be best viewed between rows 5 and 9.
Staff are always super friendly and inviting.
I loved the place we enjoyed it to the maximum as well as my son
Great place to hang out with kiddos in cold weather!
