Brought my Godson here for his 3rd birthday. He's autitstic, and really loves tactile playing. He was so excited with everything, he could touch it, watch it, solve it. He loved it but of course, being 3, had his limits. We didnt have time to do everything because the tantrums started kicking in.
Ive also gone here with my work (team builder) and we did the team scavenger hunt. honestly we were a bunch of adults and had a blast, and the competition added some extra bonus fun for us.

The Calgary Telus Park (Science Center) was not so good. I was there for the Body World and the exhibits were very limited compared to the ones that was about 5 years back (if memory serves me right) about humans. I would think it is not the worth while.

I (and my now 7 year old boy) have been a member since 2013. I bring my son at least twice a month. The annual memberships are very cost effective: my first trip cost almost 50 bucks with dome shows, and 2 annual passes with parking cost about 140 and include a 50% discount on Dome shows. Speaking of which the dome shows are great: my son was 4 when he started to watch them and was not only entertained but managed to learn and retain a lot of info. The 'lectures'/ demonstrations; special exhibits; Brainasium; themed exhibitions are fantastic. I hear many people say that there is not enough to do there but if you take the time to really experience the exhibits with your kids they can be "different" each time. I realized quickly that the static exhibits are a "nucleus" around which spin an array of frequently changing events and activities. Best way to utilize the facility is to buy passes snd go frequently for 2 or 3 hours st a time; even an hour, if only to experience the day end activities. I must say Telus Sparks has been a tremendous source of fun, learning and memories for us both. I just got another pass...don't need parking this time...102.00 for an entire year of unlimited attendance and 1/2 price dome shows for me and my son. I look forward to attending Adult Night!

What an amazing place to spend a few hours. So many things to do, hands on real life experiences (carpentry, electronics, computers, building, construction, etc) with real tools. Great places for toddlers to explore. Incredible selection of movies to watch. A super restaurant that caters to dietary needs. Highchairs!! Parents rejoice!! A dream world!

I went here for a sleepover with my Brownie unit and it was a blast! We all had a great time playing with the exhibits, and the science demo show was one of the best I've seen. The staff were amazing as well.

My daughter adores Telus Spark, but that being said, it's insanely expensive. My advice is to bring a lunch, because if you plan to stay, and get the most out of your admission fee, you'll pay a lot for food in the cafeteria. I'm sad to say that, seeing as the proceeds from the food go to help feed the homeless, which I think is fantastic, but over $50 for burgers and fries and a "chicken strip" kids meal, not including drinks is outrageous! (drinks were an added $3 each) Admission is expensive too, and my family was bored after bring there for 2 hours, but pushed for 3 just to justify the cost. I would love if there was a family rate, I think we'd visit more if it didn't cost so much.

Took my Sports Medicine classes here and they absolutely loved it. They tailored the lab to a more mature audience and were very accommodating. Highly recommend for school or group trips

Experienced Telus Spark for both business and personal use.
The meeting rooms are very spacious and ambient. My only gripe that I noticed when there was the lack of power points for personal devices (not sure if this was a conference issue or venue).

Personally, this place is a haven for kids. Activities galore, indoor and out. Rotating exhibitions keep this place fresh.

Very disappointing experience. I attended the Valentine's day Adults Only Night, which promised interesting lectures and fun Science activities.

We arrived, and the event was so over sold that there was no parking. We ended up in a fire lane as directed by security, after driving around for 20 minutes. The beer was lukewarm, the admittance staff were rude, and all of the lectures were full 20 minutes before starting. I didn't pay $20 dollars admission to stand around in line for half an hour.

The exhibits where also underwhelming, being very simplistic static, with little potential for interaction.

Telus Spark, consider the number of people you can handle, and for goodness sake, fix you #TELUS wifi.

The exhibits are fun, even as an adult. The animal world exhibit is very entertaining and fascinating. I also enjoyed the human experience section. I do wish there was an astrology or chemistry based exhibit that wasn t so centred on oil and gas.

It was great experience for adults and off course, for the kids...lots of stuff to see... really amazing way to express and explain the scientific reasoning behind each n every instrument and gadget and phenomenon.

This place was absolutely disappointing. I mean most science museums have more exhibits that even adults can enjoy and not just hands on stuff for kids. Even as a kid I would be disappointed in this place. You pay $5 for parking, then adults are $20, and if you want to see a how in the Dome Theater, that's extra! Ridiculous! Especially when I feel $20 is a total ripoff. Apart from that there's lots of empty space, the "exhibits" (and I use this term loosely) are mostly hands on stuff that you mostly say "That's cool." and walk away. There really isn't anything to read to learn about anything.

Anyways, if you're going as an adult just for your interest in science, don't bother. If you have kids... I still wouldn't bother. Save money and just take your kids to library or park for the day. They'd learn a lot more there.

I was at this place when I was 7 or 8. I was in the kids play place with the bubble piano and such. I was looking for someone and climbed up on one of the shoe racks, the rack then tipped over causing me to fall backwards and crack the back of my head and some of my skull open. I lost a lot of blood and had to get 10 stitches, no noticeable damage 4 years later but these racks are a hazard and should be secured. The shoe holders racks are NOT secured to the play place. I feel as though these racks should be secured to the play set to insure safety to every other child that plays on this play place

Children's Museum is wonderful and keeps my kids entertained- although the net in the corn room could stand to be replaced. I really liked the layout of the museum and all its exhibits. I appreciate all the hands on learning my young ones get here!

Arrived to only one person checking in everyone. Couldn't locate bathrooms at times. The film doors close once they start so we couldn't see the show but was not able to see anywhere where it told you that happens. When you visit somewhere with kids that is super important because it's hard to get places on a schedule.
The kids enjoyed themselves at the different stations. It was an okay place to spend a morning.

Great experience but must say little overpriced for an hour of having my mind mesmerized. One does not need to be altered to enjoy this but it would enhance your experience. In all, sit back enioy the music and show leave with positive affirmations joyfilled indeed. :)

I wanted to like the new science centre so much. I've been here twice and each time I leave even more unsatisfied. The architecture of this place is so beautiful and has so much space for a plethora of different exhibitions. I found it to be underwhelming and overall, overpriced for what you get. Of course it wouldn't be as cool for me since I am not a kid, but still. There is so much for so much more and yet it's just not enough.

They should also have student pricing.

It s veryyyyyyyyyyyy nice. My kids loved it there and we only got to see ONE SECTION for the two times we have been there- that s how big it is. It sounded boring at first -science centre- but after I went, I m like this has become my new favourite place of ALL TIME.

What a disappointment. Very expensive and the activities are only geared to a preschool level. Not worth 26 dollars and adult. Most of the stations were messy sloppy and very little to know suplies at it. The food sucked as well and way to expensive. 100 dollars for the family and it takes about 1.5 hours and you are done.
Don't expect much and you want be disapointed.
