Went for wedding anniversary and they gave us complimentary ice cream and had happy anniversary written on the plate in chocolate syrup - nice touch!

This Place Just Never Fails To Satisfy! Everything from the customer service to the food and drinks are incredible! Definitely one of my favorite chop houses in New York! Great Environment for a Business meeting or even a date night!

First time customer. Steaks were great! Bad experience with a couple of appetizers: baked clams had only stuffing and no clams; crispy calamari were soggy and chewy. Also, the broiled lobster tails were dry and bland. I expected much better.
However, I have to believe these glitches were accidental. Also, our server was genuinely distressed by the quality of the appetizers. He ended up not charging us for them. Very decent!

I'm not even a big steak eater but I loved this place. Brought my wife for her birthday. Staff was great. Atmosphere was great.

Best steakhouse I ve ever been to. Vintage, Insignia, Pace s, even Delmonico s and Peter Luger s can t compare.
Everything from the decor, dining in a bank with sky high ceilings, to the service, to the food and the deserts, is sublime.

Will be returning very soon.

The best steak I ve ever had. Ordered the dry aged ribeye. Came out perfect. Bartenders were helpful and knew everything. Great atmosphere and great way to spend my birthday. The waiter was in top of everything. Replaced a drink that was thrown out by mistake. Try the burnt broccoli!

Tellers is my favorite restaurant on the island. The food is delicious, the drinks are Devine and the service is impeccable. We celebrate every special occasion there! The Apple martinis are my favorite drink and of course steak with creamed spinach and scalloped potatoes!

I will go back for the food. Excellent meals. The true magic of the place is the service and attention to details. All in all a great dining experience. I'm certain this isn't the first time you've heard... Mike is an awesome server. Extremely knowledgeable, and very personable. Kudos.

25 dollars for a bowl of pasta w butter. That's 50 bucks for two children of a party of ten people. Almost 3 bucks per noodle.

Let me start out by saying, the atmosphere in this place is amazing. It might be the best steakhouse on the island and the food more than speaks to that. I had a great time and my date did as well.

The steak Delmonico is amazing, great atmosphere, attentive staff

It was ok. Have been here a few times before. this was the last. Everything was well cooked but underseasoned. I got a sizable shell in my bisque.. nice service

My wife and I celebrate our anniversary here every year. I have suggested trying other places, but she always insists on going to Tellers. Food, service and ambiance are excellent.

Went there for the first time when a friend. My friend was rude and accidentally dropped two drinks on the table. I asked the staff to change tables and it was done immediately. It's a pricey restaurant, so we went on a Sunday and ordered from that menu. The lobster bisque was well presented and taste amazing! For the second entry, I ordered the skirt steak medium rare. I never order medium rare, but I'm glad I did. The steak was delicious and I was pleased with the serving. The creme brulee was good. The hostess was so nice, the waitress was patient, and dinning room attendants were very professional.

Great atmosphere. Warm and friendly greeting by Tara and Jimmy, very welcoming. Bartender Ray was very accommodating.

Found the t-bone for one to be chewy. The Brussels sprouts were over cooked. Service was ok but getting stuck next to a door that seemed to be left open on a hot sticky night was not enjoyable. Dessert was very good

Worst steak ever dry small tasteless waiter was bad never going back waste of money

Food was great, service was excellent. The prices are average for good steak. The sides are family style. Girlfriend and I ordered the porterhouse for two, Trainwreck potatoes and 5 cheese Mac N Cheese. It was so much food we took more than half of the sides home.... but the steak was too good none of it came home :) I was stuffed

Omg best steak I've had in a long time. Get the steak with the onions on top & ask for the house steak sauce! Oh & mac & cheese

Had a lovely evening out with my wife and 18mo old daughter. We were seated upstairs and luckily had our own booster seat for our daughter as the location does not offer any seating for children. The staff was excellent, everything you look for or expect in a nice restaurant. My filet mignon was cooked perfectly and both my wife and daughter enjoyed their meals as well. As with all BRG locations (H2O, Prime, etc) I left extremely happy, full and looking forward to return again.

These people can make a steak. Nice wine selection, good sides, relaxed upscale aesthetic and excellent staff. It's no Peter Luger's, or even Ruth's Chris, but steak lovers will go home happy.

Tellers is a great experience. It's intimate, the ambience is relaxing. They're very welcoming and professional. I love that, people often travel to the city for this kind of experience and Tellers is providing it right in Islip. Me and my partner wanted to try them before and went to their sister restaurant Verace instead. So glad we finally got to go!

Been here many times and never had the burger at the bar. You must have the burger either at the bar or for lunch. Getting tired of the overinflated drink prices at the bar. I mean $11 for a draft Sam Adams? It's bad enough the cocktails are almost $20 but don't gouge me for an ordinary tap beer.

My dear friend took me out for a late lunch to celebrate my birthday, which was a few weeks prior to my visit. The ambience at Teller's is phenomenal and so is the food and cocktails. We were given exemplary and attentive (though not intrusive) service. When my friend toasted me and wished me a happy birthday, our server overheard us and I was treated to a complimentary dessert, complete with a candle and "happy birthday " written in chocolate sauce on the plate. I felt really special and will definitely return to Teller's!

finding a great steakhouse and fish place in a bank? wow the food was excellent and the fish of the day was as if it just was off the ship! wine selection was great and get a chance to go into vault to see the wines!

I am never that impressed by the food, and when you pay premium prices, you expect "better"... all around. Nothing wows me about this restaurant. The food quality, the service, the taste, the menu choices, no parking.... I think Tellers is a good experience to try.... many love it, but over all... for me... I'd only go back if invited as a guest of someone else.

Expensive, yes, but you absolutely get what you pay for. I was able to get a price fix, which is $20 for lunch, drink and extras not included, and I can promise it was worth it.

We dined there last night, our second time there. I ordered a Petite Filet Mignon Medium Well Butterflied. The steak came out to rare for me. I sent it back and it was returned to me BLACK on the outside and still under cooked on the inside. I had to send it back for a completely new one. At this time my husband is practically finished with his dinner. As the items are Ala-carte, we shared a side of whipped potatoes. By the time I received my dinner the potatoes were ice cold and no one offered to replace or heat them up. Fortunately our server was great, which made our experience a little better but we will not be back. A high dollar, romantic dinner ruined.

Excellent food. Went there for lunch. There pre-fixe lunch special was amazing $19 add $10 for 2 glass wine pairing. Simply delectable. Easily can be on over $100 meal for dinner. Good portions & choices. Enjoj!

Islip is such a cute town and Tellers never disappoints!

Food and service were great. It's an expensive place but great food and service don't come cheap. There were almost too many wines, and unfortunately meals don't come with sides (those cost extra) but it's a quality dining experience.

Superior in every way you would expect from a classy, yet comfortable, establishment. Our waiter, WIlly, was personable and professional, the support staff were all remarkably nice and accomodating, the food was beyond excellent and the ambiance is fancy in the best non intimidtating way. A lovely evening experience proved the adage that you get what you pay for. A special place for a special occasion for all us regular folks. Go, you will not be disappointed.

Average, definitely overrated. It's nice, but it's small, cramped, tables are right on top of one another. Not impressed with the wait staff. Wasn't impressed with the food. The cheesecake I had was a disgrace.

Food so so not great for the price they charge. Wait staff is great but I wish they brought out hot food and cooked the steak to the proper temp. Won't be back
