A very nice and characteristic area of Venice. Far from the chaos of the more touristy areas.

Quiet area of Venice. Interesting story for a shipyard / arms factory / arsenal. It's hard to imagine how 100 galleys were built here in two weeks.

Arsenal is located outside of tourist routes and far from the center. I didn t get inside and had to be limited to inspecting the walls and gates.

The Arsenal of the powerful Serenissima !!! W San Marco

Interesting location, not too full of tourists like San Marco. It's worth a visit!

Located on one side of the Venice, it is an impressive building for its extension and architectural details. Nearby, you will find a museum and a number of bars and coffee shops as well as souvenir places. It is not far from the main walk which brings back to piazza San Marco.

Fabulous is worth seeing and you enter the ticket you pay to visit the shipyard

The main entrance is interesting, with rod iron gates, various statues, and other picture worthy sculptures. Not sure what the inside is like as I'm not military

Home to the historic dockyard and now home of the biennial.

In this place of Venice there is no such crowds of tourists, it is worth seeing I recommend.

The scenery, the food, the warmth of the people, well, wonderful!
