Really really awesome exhibit unlike anything else I ve seen. Photographers/IGers know even on the weekday you will never be alone. There is still a 100ft line to get in on a Wednesday before opening but they manage the crowds extremely well and throttle the occupancy in each room so you can always get great pictures. This is for the morning of course, we just left around noon and the occupancy was 10x what it was in the morning. Early bird gets the worm

Quite fun and you can easily spend 3 hours here. Lots of artwork can interact with people and change the way they present. Forest of Lamp has long queue and only allow you to be in there for abou 5 minutes. Go there early of the day.

This is the most wonderful museum I've ever been to. It is totally immersive from beginning to end every part of the museum is part of the exhibit. Be prepared to give yourself over to the at and spectacle of it all.
Yes you have to book in advance, this controls the numbers. It is not overly crowded which is wonderful. Queueing for one or two of the rooms is fine and again you aren't outside of the experience.
Wear comfortable clothes and sport shoes so you can get involved.
I loved everything about this place .
Worth every penny.

Really incredible. I went at 12 on a rainy Thursday and barely had to wait in any lines, though it definitely got busier. Everyone has covered the basics but my tip is do not come hungover, you will die. You must go.

I absolutely loved the facility! It s so aesthetically pleasing and clean. The only thing is the lines for Floating Nest and the Climbing Course in Athletics Forest have really long lines. I d really recommend coming, it s a great place to do photography if you like taking pictures. There s also a Wendy s restaurant outside so you can enjoy food before going in. Note that they don t allow the following inside:
- Flashlights (Camera flash too)
- Food and drinks
- Selfie Sticks
More will be briefed before you enter.
Enjoy!

Amazing activity to do while staying in Tokyo. It was a bit of a trek for us because we stayed in Shinjuku, but super easy train ride - we used the JR lines because we had the passes. Beautiful, interactive exhibit. Very dark inside, but easy to navigate. Incredible photo opportunities as well. There's plenty of restrooms throughout and there's a Wendy's right outside if you need a quick bite. It's also a short walk from the Gundam statue.

Very nice! Go in the morning because it gets crowded in the afternoon. Figure out which attractions get long lines as the day goes on, and go to those first (sorry can't help my memory might just confuse you and I don't wanna research for you). Read the descriptions for the attractions. Seems like no one does. One said "go to the middle of the room to get the most of of it" and I go inside and everyone is off by the walls lol. I am sure most were Japanese though so it's fine. Also be patient. Some attractions change. One lady was looking at a portrait and was like "huh where is my instant gratification?" I am just kidding but anyways I pointed to the wall as she was leaving to get her attention since the art comes and goes.

Incredible exhibition & worth the money. I recommend going on a weekday as the staff noted there are much fewer crowds then. Even still, some rooms had 40 minute wait times.

There is no map & little guidance, so be prepared to wander through the exhibit for at least an hour. So much fun!!

Magical and totally unexpected experience! The idea and the realization are pure genius. You find yourself submerged in lights, sounds and moving projections that leave your mouth wide open. Take your time and see all of it as it is all well worth it. To avoid major cueing try to book online and go there in the early afternoon during week days.

To help you get there don't follow citymapper or Google maps you want to come out the station and head to "pallete town" then up the stairs and to left you will go through the toyota museum team lab is at the end you will start to see signs.

I would try and get there early as well say just before they open at 10am. The queue will look long but don't worry it moves really quickly as they take in big groups at a time.

Loads to see in there and definitely made for instagram so connect to the free WiFi and start taking pictures! Also there is no map so try and remember the names of the different rooms you go in, that will help you make sure you don't double back on yourself too much.

Kinda disapointed. Waited 1h30 outside to get in, so crowded we had to wait again inside to enter some rooms. Too many people inside so you cant really enjoy the beauty of the exposure, too bad. Dont worth the price.

We think its very interesting visits and get to know how arts can be digitalized and be part of our life.

You can draw on the art paper given
( take from shelves) and create your art work with crayons( provided).
After you are done, the staff will scan your drawing and your artwork become " alive" moving around the room/ section that you are visiting.

There are many rooms to visit.I would advise to be there early as some room/section may have longer queues.

Wow, loved this place. I don't like tea but the matcha ice cream at the teahouse was delicious anyway and it was cool how there was a light show in itself in there. A very lovely experience, though you need to know how to take good photos. We did get a bit lost in the halls around the end but. Still so amazing.

Amazing display of modern visual art. Went there expecting a faddish environment and to my delight, my five year old son and my wife both ended up loving it! We stayed for nearly three hours until we were thoroughly burnt out! Excellent for all ages groups and even little children. Highly recommended!

Wow! This place is amazing! Great for families and friends! You can wander around for hours! There are lockers for your bags if you want to go light. Upstairs is the athletic area where you can't wear heels so I recommend flats or tennis shoes. There are easy to find bathrooms.

Must visit place in tokyo. We spent around 4 hours here enjoying the various displays. Heaps of unique photo opportunities but ensure you have a good camera that takes nice pictures in dark.

There are several highlights to experience. The light show with music was awesome. Plenty of play activities for kids and even adults including slides, trampoline jump, obstacles walks, etc.

There are waits for some of the areas but worth the wait. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

You can personally color arts and see them moving as lights. Tracking them was interesting.

Again having a camera to capture the unique is key to remember this place. Best and affordable attraction in tokyo

Very nice! Amazing exhibitions and cool inventions. A lovely ambient atmosphere. You ll easily spend several hours here. Try the tearoom inside.

Warning: Lots of people even on a weekday. Highly suggest you buy tickets beforehand and come to the door at 10.00 when they open. Afterwards the queue will last for hours.

This teamlab is genius. They used LCD projectors like thousands of them to create moving graphics. Each room is set differently. The graphics moves from one room to another. And if you touch the graphics on the wall, it'll produce sound. Is truly a unique experience that you still never forget. Get your reservation really early since it's sold out quickly. Go now

Amazing and breathtaking experience. Mind-boggling and beautiful. You must go if you have 2 hours or an afternoon to spend, but definitely buy tickets first as this place is very popular.

One of the most incredible places I have ever been. It took a while to get in but once we were in there we spent over two hours just walking around and enjoying the exhibits.

Make sure to really do your best to investigate every corner so you can see everything as there are no maps, great experience.

Great fun on a rainy day. We didn't know what to expect but were surprised with how many different experiences there were. I've been to some other digital art museums in NYC but nothing like this.

An absolutely stunning experience. The way they prepare your mind for this engrossing exhibition and the whole area as a whole is something unique and breathtaking.

I recommend booking tickets for this place as it is fully booked almost everyday.

You need to allow approx 3-5hrs to take this entire immersive exhibition in, it is truly the most interactive beautifully presented experience, a true Tokyo highlight!! I would recommend wearing white for your photos to pop, and lining up for the lengthy queues at the start. Your best bet is either first thing in the morn or late at night as the place starts clearing out approx 8pm before the 9pm close.

Teamlab Borderless is a new and exciting exhibition that utilizes modern technology and immerses you in a different world. Beautiful lights and out of this world experience. Unfortunately, it's is relatively easy to get lost as there are too many paths to follow - which makes you wonder if you have missed any of the exhibits. Overall - a beautiful experience.

It was a fun lightshow, expect to spend at least 2 hours here so you can see all the rooms. Also, it is possible to get in without reservations, but you might need to come a little later. When I went on a weekday 1 hour before closing time, there didn't seem to be a line, the only drawback is that you will see less. Target the rooms you want to see first and if you get lost, the staff is really helpful. As they said, follow where the animations are going and you will find yourself in a different room. It was a fun and unique experience.

Worth 5 stars if you can find a day where isn't not crowded (probably impossible).
I arrived after 7pm and it was still very busy with some waiting queues over 30 minutes long.

They should really limit even more the numbers of tickets they are selling to improve the user experience.

Buyer beware. They will not work with you to reschedule or refund unless they specifically close the exhibit. On the date we had scheduled, there was a typhoon. The city shut down all of the trains and recommended people not travel. As soon as we heard about this, we tried to contact them, but they were very stubborn about it and would not work with us regardless of this extraneous circumstance.

It was a very interesting, informative and enjoyable time. I was able to experience the unlimited imagination and possibility of digital media art. I would like to recommend if anyone is going to Tokyo.

Wow! It was freaking awesome! The light show is so fascinating! Great for taking pics and video. And even the music was so relaxing. They even have an athletic center where you can jump on a trampoline and climb a small rock climbing wall. Best place ever!

Incredible experiential art experience that is semi-interactive! One of the most unique experiences I ve ever had. Would recommend to anyone going to Tokyo. I spent about two hours here wandering around and could have spent even longer if I hadn t been so hungry! Come prepared to reflect on the nature of borders and the relationship between art and life.

Its a cool place to see but I wouldnt say there is a need to make a huge detour in your itinerary to see it. It's definitely geared towards families meaning there are plenty of exhibits for kids. It quickly becomes a selfie madness zone and to me it all takes away from what could have been a really cool experience.

Book tickets early. This place was beautiful. It's a huge space with tons of things to see and experience. They should rename it to "PhotoOps Endless".
Be prepared for lines and waiting though. Even if you buy tickets in advance, you'll still have to line up to get in, although that line moves really quick. Once inside, be prepared to wait up to 1hr for some of the special exhibit rooms, like the infinity lanterns room for example.
Even without those exhibit rooms, the rest of the place is covered in moving lights, sounds, and art. It's legit.

Giving a one star before even having seen the show. There is an outside waiting area where ticket holders with expensive tickets can stand around and wait in blistering sun or pouring rain while children cry in the line because it is so bad.
How about selling less tickets or adjust the price so that not a thousand people have to wait at any given time.

It was such an amazing and unique experience. There was a sense of exploration and excitment. A great place to take photos and hang with friends.

The staff was helpful and the place was accommodating of different languages, place to rest, and opened till 9 pm.

What a beautiful immersive digital museum. There is a line to get in so plan for that but it does move fairly quickly, you can get some great pictures. You can also have some awesome experiences like being on the best. Worth the visit.
