I spoke to one of your team last week in regards to the absurdly drastic increase my policy took when changing from Primmum over to TD.
My policy went up from $2200/yr to $3500/yr for my daughter & I to be covered (Daughter - G2 Occasional driver).
I advised him that I have spoken to 3 separate brokers that handle several different insurance companies & all 3 of them have quoted me $1600 or LESS per year for my daughter & I.
How do you justify charging MORE THAN DOUBLE than SEVERAL other insurance companies? He understands why I would like to cancel my policy but assured me there was nothing he could do on his end.

Ive had one other insurance provider before I had TD as an insurance provider because as a new driver this was the cheapest option. Thankfully it turned out to be a good choice. Their staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. They often walked me through the different types of insurances when I was younger and hadn't fully grasped it. I highly reccomend them. I will likely get home insurance through them once I am a home owner.

They are awful, they take weeks to respond, are vague, provide no details on deadlines until they are past and difficult at every corner to deal with. I am using the physio they recommended and still have trouble getting anything through.

I recently moved to a new apartment in downtown (same street, 30 metres away, around 50 steps if you count, just to next building) and they bumped up my insurance by more than $100 annually. It is understandable if you are moving from sub-urbran to downtown, or a particular accident prone area in downtown, but not if you move to the very next building. What changed when I moved to next building????
