My son is finishing his Junior year at TCNJ. He is in the 5 year Masters Program in Education. He is highly pleased with his experience at the College. He lived on campus his first three years and has loved the experience. There are good clubs to join, uniformly bright positive-minded students, caring professors, dorms ok not great but townhouse he had this year was nice. There are many good restaurants within a half hour but you have to take a shuttle bus or drive to get to them. A lpt of work especially writing for an Education major. Campus is pretty and is kept clean.Something of a chill vibe not a rah rah place, not a big sports school though the Div 3 teams are quite good.

This college just isn't worth the money. Did you know its actually cheaper to pay out of state and go to school in Pennsylvania, than in state tuition in NJ? Also, outside of New Jersey TCNJ doesn't have much name recognition. A week after I graduated they revoked my access to library databases, databases I still needed to finish up professional work. Alumni get what, exactly, for paying so much to go here? Nothing but letters asking for donations in the mail.

Great school, up and coming, really makes you work hard and earn your degree. Reputable programs with several on campus organizations for everyone. Wish they weren't building all the time though

Currently a grad student. I like my teachers & the course material but teachers and students both frustrated at classes that are 25-30 people for a very specialized field which isn't what I was expecting.

Other issues are over $1300 in fees per semester for lord knows what, which adds up to a lot as I am commuting in and not using the campus for anything at all. Haven't even used the library and there are separate additional charges for printing and parking.

Final issue is beware of bogus health insurance charges, these weren't mentioned in my welcome packet and I was billed $660 for insurance (even though I already pay insurance out of pocket) and caught it at a time which apparently is too late to get a refund.

The other places may be the same, I just feel the fees are taking advantage of the fact most people will get loans and just worry about the cost later. As someone using my savings to do this it is very painful...

I love this College. You get so much for what you pay. I transferred here and only got to stay 2 years. I would give so much to stay longer with the wonderful professors, campus and people .
