Great spot. Visited here as part of a stag do and availed of the early bird. They easily accommodated large group, the food was great (chicken wings were amazing with extra spicy sauce).

Service is spot on. Food is over cooked over seasoned. Over priced.
As usual wonderful friendly staff and beautiful food, love love love it
Unbelievable Italian food. Very good service. Lived up to the hype.
Only got take away but the stock vegan cheese which is nice. Pizza was very good.
Great food. Nice setting and atmosphere. Reasonable prices.
Best pizza & Italian restaurant in Sligo by a mile.
Staff are relatively pleasant, the restaurant itself is nice and is clearly popular and a hit with locals, generating a nice atmosphere. The gourmet vegetarian pizza I had was delicious, as well as the bread and olives. Wine is reasonably priced and tasty.
Service was quite slow, at every stage. It took us at least 15 minutes to be seated, and we were there almost an hour before I got our food, even paying the bill delayed us a further 10 minutes.
Had a fab meal in Bistro Bianconi last wkend with my son and grandchildren..one of my favourite eateries in Sligo town
Absolutely fantastic would definitely return we did not have a booking but they asked us if we waited 20 minutes we would have a table and while we were waiting the drinks was 2 for 1 the food was excellent and the service was very good and we did not have to ask for anything as for value for money it was we had a lovely dinner and will recommend it to any of our friends visiting sligo
Staff are very good here. Was very impressed that they were so helpful with providing vegan options. Would be five star but have to say the vegan pizza was not good. It was a bit like having a salad on a pizza base.. some cooked toppings would have been nice. Everyone else loved their food.
Wonderful staff, wonderful food. Maybe my favourite restaurant.
Fantastic food, very friendly & patient staff. Amazing value for the great quality provided. Highly recommended, and I will be calling back in whenever I'm back in Sligo
A very wet day but what a find this place was. Wonderful stew although rather heavy on the salt for me. I would imagine in the summer months this place is buzzing.
Excellent place, fabulous food, very very tasty, only fault I found was it was dark in the restaurant and made it hard to read menu but other than that tiny fault it's a fab place, excellent food and lovely friendly staff and brilliant value for money, if ever in Sligo again we will be eating here
Love this place great food and super friendly service.
Italian at its best. Genuine and authentic staff. Good food.
Nice restaurant food decent was very busy though the day we were there (bank holiday) Was quite large portions
We went on a busy Saturday. It was mass produced poor quality pizza in every way. Very disappointing.
Fantastic bistro, food was excellent and staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful def going back very soon
When the Early Bird is not that Early after all very disappointed
Hi we just had a meal in the Bistro Bianconi in Sligo this is an restaurant we have eaten in a number of times and have been very happy regrettably this was not the case tonight as we went to have the Early Bird it was clearly stated on the menu that the Early Bird was just under 20euro for the main course and starter so we decided to go with it on completion of our meal which included 3 glasses of wine we were presented with a bill for 80euro when we queered this we were told not everything on the Early Bird menu was included on very close investigation all items except the two meals we had had in very small print eb near them this such a sneaky way to present a menu so watch out do a close study of everything before deciding as you might be fooled also by Early Bird menu. As the Early Menu clearly stared on the top that the price was just under 20 euro for starter and main course
Poor quality Forza pizza, simply dollops of chilli sauce just dumped onto pizza making it almost inedible.
Turned up without booking, place was packed but we were able to wait in the bar upstairs. Staff are friendly and the service is excellent, we had a starter to share and two mains. The starter was prawns and chorizo which was really good, prawns were cooked to perfection, highly recommended. My main was good, penne all'arrabbiata, needed more chilli and I wasn't a fan of the chunks of pepper in it. However it was very tasty and the portion was big. Would go back next time I'm in Sligo
Always a fantastic choice of food. Friendly & pleasant staff.
what a great place, lovely food, very friendly staff was the best highlight of our holiday, my family and I loved it so much we ate there twice on our 3 day mini break, a must if you are in Sligo,
Really enjoyed the food here and the staff were very friendly and helpful, will definitely return,
Excellent menu catering for everyone's tastes. As someone with dietary requirements I would highly recommend Gluten free pastas & pizzas. Staff are very friendly and attentive.
Lovely food , place buzzing waited one hour and a half for food very slow , staff excellent .....
Been here three times the food and service excellent
Ate here last night with my girlfriend. We shared starters of garlic bread with mozzarella cheese and king prawns. They were simplistic but beautiful. We then ordered the pizza and carbonara which were unbelievable. Every bite got better and better and was a great night out.
Wonderful meal, service excellent esp ciara lovely girl.
Very good Italian restaurant, they are very caring with its customers, very smiling and friendly, the dishes are excellent and well presented
The only downside I will put is the price, that's why I remove a star
Food was fantastic and staff so friendly. A credit to the business.
We got to the bistro after a long journey, willing to have a nice meal. At first all looked fined - we were sitted at a nice table, the menu looked inviting. Unfortunately, this nice afternoon meal was disturbed by a women with a child, which could not stop crying. The staff and the manager did not bother to react in any way, although other guests in the restaurant were not pleased with that noise as well.
The meal was tasty however the athmosphere and poor customer service did not make me happy to come back there.
Always consistently good food and a pleasant atmosphere
I can not imagine why this restaurant became good notes before. Interior simple modern, a lot of tables and chairs. Entre looked/tasted ok, main-corse trocken meat. On our way back to the hotel we became stomic-problems.!
I had the Brie and pepperoni pizza. The crust was soggy, onions were under cooked, the pepperoni, I believe, was actually sliced American hotdog. The greek salad had sweet dressing. I didn't finish either plate. Never going back there again.
The food was lovely there starters was huge your best bet is to share a starter the staff were so nice enjoyed our night there
Had the pleasure of a meal here while visiting Sligo. Met the owner outside when it was closed and he was a lovely man and took my booking on an obvious busy evening. My son
I was unwell and didn t eat his dinner the waiter offered to box it up and also replaced his drink with an up open
one for when he felt better. Food was amazing and the
service was excellent.
They try to try to recreate the atmosphere of Italian restaurants. .. The staff is kind. Clean environments. They mainly serve pizza. But to taste it will seem to eat a frozen pizza with a biscuit flavor.
The best value at the moment is the early bird menu, 20 for 3 courses before 8pm.
there is a 15% tipping charge for groups of 8 or more
Great Italian food but very busy. You need to book a table for weekend nights. Plenty of good pubs nearby for before or after.
Really good service, waitress very accommodating and friendly. Pizza was very nice, good bases and really nice toppings. Will be returning.
Good food, good place. Tonic is expensive and the small bottle they charged you like a big one. We didn't felt welcome tho.
Food was nice but a little over priced. Service was good but the place is very busy there fore very loud
Always delicious reliable food with a great atmosphere and super service ! Highly recommend!
Bistro Bianconi is the heart of Sligo cuisine and it'll never stop beating. Try their unique offerings like;
Tuscan Bread
Musti's Chili Parcel
LaForza / Michaelangelo Pizza
Fantastic Italian restaurant with a great selection of authentic Italian dishes lots of pastas pizzas and something for everyone. Had a great kids menu and a lovely warm atmosphere with the seating planned around a central clay pizza oven and excellent service. We arrived at about 7 on a wet Tuesday night without a booking and thankfully got seated for a party of 5 but the place was very busy so we were very grateful to be seated. The food was absolutely delicious full of rich flavours and freshness. We've been several times now over the years from when we were a couple then when our kids were smaller and now that they are a bit older great for families and great for a date night. Thanks for the 5 star service.
Great food and wine. Staff were friendly and polite despite being run off their feet. Would highly recommend the Bistro for a great night out.
Fabulous meal as always. Great food, friendly service. Highly recommended
Not great. First waitress was very abrupt and responded "yip" for every part of the order. Fortunately we didn't see her again after taking the order. She did forget to ask did we want ant drinks. The second waiter who served us was friendly but seemed to be managing a lot of tables. The food wasn't what I would expect for the price. The pizza I had was soggy and didn't really taste of anything. A shame. The restaurant was also very dark and made it difficult to read the menu. We saw several people with their phones being used as torches.
3rd generation Sligo family run business says it all really, Pat & his daughter Gillian are front of house and it wont be many years until Danny, the fourth generation steps into the business.
World renowned pizzas. Genuine Italian atmosphere, leaders in their field. Pizzas baked in the restaurant both upstairs and down in clay ovens so the aroma is Devine. Great variety of food, more than a pizza to choose from!! You will enjoy your visit. Did I mention the wine?
We have dined here many times in the past.
This time was early on a Thursday evening. The normal slick service and excellent food was unfortunately left wanting.
Service was slow and nearly all of the dishes were given to the wrong people. Food was still nice, just not quite up to the normal excellent standard we have come to expect. I hope this trend does not continue.
Love this place. I got the Michael Angelo pizza...I get this all of the time and it's superb. The decor gives the feeling I'm. Back in Rome. ..and I must say the pizza is just as good. Very nice and informative staff too. Highly recommend
Food was exceptional only surpassed by the service.
Great good and great service. Arrabiata very tasty.
Good Italian restaurant in the center of Sligo. Tasty dishes, Italian sauce, quite affordable prices. The only flaw: very dark
As usual a great experience, good food great atmosphere and good value.I usually end up eating on of their excellent pizzas from wood fired oven.Great place to bring the kids.
Ate here a few Time but decided to get takeaway pizza for a change. It was lovely, as nice as sitting in the resturant. Defo recommend visiting this resturant
