My wife and I purchased a unit in Kingston&Co, and are extremely pleased with the quality of property TAS built. Purchasing new-builds always involves a lot of moving parts, and TAS has been excellent in communicating through the process and managing the completion of the building. I will gladly recommend TAS projects to anyone within my network whom is looking to purchase within a new-build, and will also consider purchasing additional condos within future TAS developments if the need/opportunity arises.

We are very grateful to TAS for giving us the opportunity to introduce to the market and showcase our all-natural cleaning products at the Planet Farmers' Market. Particular thanks to Christina who was super dedicated, energetic and creative in trying to bring more awareness, attention and excitement to the market to make it as successful as possible. Thank you!

You know you have to rethink when you see many of its side partners and hired parties are writing reviews for such a small developer competing with many other developers. The reviews should be from non biased people, not other business getting paid by them. Overall this company states community involvement and caring for homeowners. Another misleading fact, if you want to buy a new home then buy from a real professional builder not these developer/real estate companies, they just do not care after the suite keys are picked up by their homeowners. The color selection and post customer service is completely disorganized.I don't waste my time writing reviews but when experiencing this company's staff, it had to be done.

My brother in law bought a unit at Duke and not only did he have many issues but it took forever to conduct the repairs, their sales, design, customer services has no clue on anything from the beginning they started off with excuses on everything delays, to no idea on what to say. I am glad he told me about his experience because I was even considering purchasing at the upcoming Keely, so happy I didn't. I would advise my family and friends to stay away from this pretend builder.

An update to my review 1 year later:

TAS has still not completed a single repair in my unit from my PDI, with occupancy coming up on 2 years in April 2020.

They offered a financial settlement recently, but since another large item has now come in as warrantable that this "builder" is responsible to repair, that figure is not feasible and they are not willing to settle on a fair amount to even come close to covering costs for the further repairs.

I have a wall that needs to be ripped out and reconstructed

Patio door trim that needs replacing

Bathroom trim that needs replacing

A marble shower surround that needs replacing

My flooring throughout the unit needs to be ripped up, the floors leveled (I can roll a marble across my floor) and new hardwood placed (the hardwood has holes and gaps and appears different lots were used)

A sliding door was installed without being secured to the floor

TAS was given 2 deadlines by Tarion to repair the deficiencies, one deadline has passed for repair and another upcoming in 2 weeks (bathroom), which they've made clear they're not prepared to meet.

Tarion will now be taking over this case.

Be very cautious with purchasing from this builder. Lots of promises and they present well, but once they have their money, the rest of the customer care is lack-luster at best and they do not stand behind their product.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Apparently to get an over 3 star rating, they've had their employees leave 5 star reviews (nice try Reg and Trish). I would offer zero stars, but that's not an option, as even 1 star is too generous.

Be very, very cautious of purchasing from this builder. The salespeople & employees are not to be trusted, and ensure EVERYTHING is in writing ... and I mean everything. They will tell you it doesn't need to be in writing, then not honour their word.

Their internal communication is horrific. Communication to their purchasers is even worse.

They don't know what they are doing and everything is so unprofessional in how it's run. We've had the police on site having to remove more trades and security workers for the most heinous of issues [mirrors hidden in elevators, knocking on doors of single women late at night wanting to be invited in, entry into occupied units without notice or intent, to name just a few]

8 months of occupancy and still not 1 single item completed on my Tarion warranty from our PDI. Not a single item.

The hide behind their ridiculous lawyers (Bratty), who are equally incompentant as TAS, so they are a perfect match in tweedle dee and tweedle dum.

There are many good builders out there, that actually take pride in the relationship they have with their purchasers. TAS is not that builder. RUN dont' walk away, from any deal you're thinking of writing with them!

They are a joke and the only thing they're good at is talking out of both sides of their mouths to appease their purchasers awhile longer, while delaying anything being completed.

Their customer care team is ludicrous. I have read the reviews and all I see is its business customers writing reviews about them. Not their homeowners that they lie too. It s shows how pathetic this builder is. Not to mention their business partners give them 5 full stars. Tells you how desperate they are to keep their scams going. You can decide for yourself.

Where do i start. At first, i was skeptical to acknowledge all the negative reviews in regards to this builder, as at times individuals do exaggerate; however not in this case.

All the negative reviews along with comments are 100% true and bang on. I had a first hand experience dealing with this builder, and i STRONGLY advise to stay away from any properties they are involved under.

Primarily, i purchased a pre-contruction at the Keeley and proceeded to sign all the documents they required. Both parties signed the documents and there was a 10-day cooling period. I sent the agreement to my lawyer to review and propose any amendments and caps on certain items. When finished, my lawyer send me the paperwork and discussed, at which point i noticed they had given me 50k of original asking price.

Afterwards, they came forcing me to sign the new agreement as they had a mistake. I refused to as THEY drafted the agreement and THEY signed as well. After review, they involved their lawyers BRATTYS which are nothing but a joke. I had conducted the the steps and submitted the MPI as requested. They were looking for a way out, and sent a letter to my lawyer labeling it as a "FUNDAMENTAL ERROR" and "goes to the root of the contract".

Let me tell you, that makes 0 sense. First off, who made the error and why did you sign? You drafted the agreement and had as much time to review as i did just wow. If i write a test and submit it, it's as if me asking to the professor i need the test back i made an error once submitted. 0 costumer service.

Secondly, goes to the root of the contract hahahahaha. What contract? this is a pre-construction in which no one has title until 2022 - this was simply an agreement for pre-construction phase. If this was to how you label it" root of the contract", that would indicate all purchasers contract would be terminated.

I want to warn everybody to stay away from this builder or experience it first hand as i did. If they bully you and make excuses from a simple error from their end, i cannot imagine when the building is ready for occupancy and the potential issues to be facing - they will keep on denying and attend them in the new millennium. SIMPLY OUTRAGEOUS AND PURE EMBARRASSING EXPERIENCE.

TAS is a change maker and visionary when it comes to doing things different in Toronto. Their ethos for people and planet first drives their ideas and culture, and we @ Just Be Woodsy could not be happier to help be part of building these neighbourhoods of the future :)
