Taprock Northwest Grill Review

I am so pleased with Taprock. We came here from Washington State. It was my husband and I first time there. The service was awesome. We ordered for takeout and got amazing food. We did have to wait a bit for it, but it wasn't a problem. The girls there were working very hard since they were pretty busy when we came in. When we got our food, it was hot and fresh and had the best flavor. Thank you for a great experience.

Excellent experience. The river was very nice. The vegetarian menu is online. Do no trust the in person menu if you're a vegetarian. The online menu has many other options.

Lovely view and great food! Service is exceptional as well. Really enjoyed having breakfast there 2 days in a row.

Hubby took me and his parents to breakfast. Ate out on the deck on a lower level. Was cool outside but they had heaters mounted above the tables so it was warm.

Server was super sweet, very pretty view while eating, some local food options, pretty inside.
Downside is they were going pretty slow today. We ordered two breakfast dishes while they were not very busy and it still took 30 minutes for the food to come out. The floor under the table was very gross with a bunch of stuff built up underneath, and the fabric on the chairs looked dirty. The food there to me is always OK. Never bad, but never leaves me wanting to come back. I've tried many things trying to find a special thing I really like and haven't found it yet. It used to be their cheesecake until they switched to not making it there anymore and you can now eat the piece in like 3 bites, but it's the same price as their old in-house, amazing and huge slices you used to get. Handicap accessible restaurant and outside ramps to the fountains. Decent place to go with kids because you can be outside with them while waiting for your food as long as someone waits at the table to tell you when it arrives.

By far the worst food I ve ever had. Start with 6 of us trying to be seated and we were told and hour long wait. But a larger family came in after us and was told they could be seated immediately. Fast forward to our food... all cold. Cod tacos and fries- no warmth whatsoever. My daughter Mac and cheese was literally Kraft Mac and cheese and again cold. Blue cheese burger was cold all the way to the middle. Prime rib sandwich- again cold. It was like everything was left out for 30 minutes. We brought it up to our waiter and all he had to say was anything I can do? Obviously we weren t gonna send our food back to be nuked in a microwave. Beautiful place but we will never be back!!

First visit...ordered one of the big farm to table salads to go. Big disappointment in how meager it was. May have been due to the big festival going - they were slammed but they sure didn't put out a salad that would wow anyone.

Read some awesome reviews on Taprock so we drove up from San Francisco to check it out. First thing you notice is just how beautiful the building is, the pathways down to the river, and the multi-level waterfall fountains. Very well thought out, designed with care. The staff is very friendly and attentive. We were lucky to have the lead server Marty tending our table. He paid great attention, made sure everything was perfect, and spent just the right amount of time chatting and joking with us. The food was absolutely outstanding! Flavors, ingredients, quality - definitely worth the 400mile drive.If you like blue cheese, theirs is Rouge Creamery, and delish. Burgers were perfect, mac n cheese gooey and flavorful. I'm all for a long drive to get superb food. Taprock is impressive. I know my food pictures don't do anything justice. We had already dug in before I remembered to snap pictures. Lol

Great service, atmosphere was perfect. I ordered the chicken fried chicken and my son ordered the skillet Campfire Skillet and both meals were delicious. We had outdoor seating and had a beautiful view of the river. They also have a waterfall outside.

The manager Aaron was incredible! The waitress in the bartender Where exceptional as well ! And definitely coming back. They may have had a couple of hiccups but they treated me better than any place I have ever been. I could say over generous but let's just say the Food nonetheless was fantastic!
