Great low key goat farm. Not too big and does not have that commercialized, hard sell, feeling. Small amount of parking. All the pens and pastures are easy to walk to. The terrain is relatively flat if you have someone who is elderly or in a wheel chair. There is goat meat and goat dairy products in the shop. The dogs and chickens are very friendly. Watch out for the wary rooster! A few ducks roam free as well.

Update:
For the management: We went in for a second visit. Granted, it was not a Friday so we could not do the self-guided tour. However, you have front-facing staff, in particular, a young lady who works in the store. She displayed not one iota of Southern hospitality, let alone hospitality. It was as if we were trespassers. No mask no entry policy? Fine, we understand you demand them, and we don t wear them, but on our previous visit, not only did you wear yours incorrectly, but you had a visitor, young gentleman, you obviously knew, who came in and did not wear one. Nor did another staff person who came in. Hence, your policy is inconsistently enforced, but the mare fact you wore your cloth mask incorrectly, touched it without washing your hands afterwards, and likely do not sterilize it routinely, means your masks do absolutely no good, and are simply symbols of compliance. You re not observing CDC guidelines other than just going through the motions and putting the mask on and off.

That aside, she was not friendly. We asked if we could walk by the goats on our way out after our purchase. She sighed audibly and slumped. Yes.... on your way out. No thank you, no upbeat mood, nothing. Unfortunately, this is the second encounter and we were enthusiastic about visiting again but this left a horrible first impression on my wife who accompanied me this time.

Something to think about.

Such a good experience, I personally looove goats and his farm is really friendly. You can see goats everywhere there is workers around that are more than welcome to explain you how do the farm works. You can pet the goat (the senior ones) and you can also buy goat dairy products that they made they are really good my favorite the goat cheese.

Employees are very nice and welcoming. Animals are very tame and we'll cared for. They have about 250 goats, at least two pigs, some horses, roosters, chickens, dogs and cats. The fudge is AWESOME and a must!! The lotion and soap I purchased were also really good purchases.

Split Creek has excellent all natural goat milk, cheeses, yogurt. The flavored honey sticks are wonderful drizzled over a charcuterie tray using their cheeses. You can drop in and pick them up in person or they can ship them to you.

Actually went to 'goat yoga' which was held at this farm but loved the farm itself! They have chickens and roosters free roaming, a rather large pig (how it took us so long to actually realize she was less than 20 feet from us), goats (all ages) and many other farm animals. Don't want to spoil the surprise ... a great fun family place!
