Beautiful layout, fantastic staff, and good features and shows. Some high balcony seating for those seeking a more private space. Great location in Ybor City too (right by the Centro Ybor plaza, close to several parking areas), so you may go for some pre-show drinks and food at a variety of restaurants if you're not that into the type of bar food or drinks that the improv club offers (full menu can be found on their website).

We still got one drink during our show and were surprised at the quality of liquor and price, even with the 18% gratuity (less than $7 total for Captain rum and coke!).

We'll be back!

My husband and I attended a show. Service was slow. We had one drink the entire show. Tables on each side of us had at least two rounds plus food. Servers walked past us all night without stopping or checking on us.

Nice venue... kind swift staff. They don't have drink minimums like most comedy clubs which is nice. His food prices and a wide selection too. My only complaint is the chairs. They're hard as a rock. They became really uncomfortable after 20 min.

Service here is absolutely horrible. Purchased VIP tickets, had a blast at the show. But practically had to chase a server down for service. She was very unfriendly. It was our honeymoon and my birthday, and she made us feel very unwelcome (dark haired server, she said she was from Michigan) Tampa Improv was very understaffed. Shouldn't have such a large VIP section if you're unable to accommodate them. They pay extra to be there. But BRENDEN SCHAUB is the freaking man!

Service, prices and food are horrible. Wait staff forgets everything, takes forever to bring refills, and has a BAD attitude. I ended up throwing away half of my meal because I couldn't get someone to bring me a fork even though I asked 3 times. $8 for a SODA with free refills or $2.50 each glass, and they come in a small glass. The fries were hard and crunchy, in a stale way, couldn't eat them. I didn't order any drinks because they add 18% gratuity added on to every check. So in all $30.00 for a crappy meal served in a basket and a soda. Comedian was great, but this place is a ripoff.

I've come here a few times to see some local comics, my favorite has been Patrick Melton. The food can be a bit slow but the service is good and the comedy has always been fun to see. I've taken friends and family here and will definitely be back.

Love coming here on date night! The food and drinks are moderately priced, the acts are typically fun, and meeting new people at your table is even more fun. Their food...is bar food. The potato skins are super skimpy, wings are good, grilled cheese is good, artichoke dip is good, service is generally good. Arrive an hour prior to your show for a good seat and early eats.

Normally a 5 star but this time was not so great. The comedians pretty much spoke about their Vs and Ps which was lame. Wings were served late, cold and hot sauce was dreadful. The 6 foot seating was not enforced. I literally had a lady bumping elbows with me the whole time. And then there's always 1 drunk yelling the whole time back at comedians. People asked him to leave but the bouncers never made him go.

I went to see Bruce Bruce with a girlfriend. The show was awesome & the food was tasty. I feel like we were packed in like sardines. I was afraid to move in fear of bumping into the people around me. It was awkwardly packed & others around me complained about it also. That was my only complaint but it was a big one.

This is a great place to go and have a great laugh and even better time. Went with 3 of my friends and we had a awesome time. Been here a few times and love the layout. I have sat in the back and towards the front. You have a great view of the stage anywhere you sit.

Mozzarella squares are excellent, very good quality cheese. We paid 12 dollars for the souvenir glasses which came with free refills all light which our server was right on top of. Seating is a little tight but manageable. Only downfall is they make you stand in the bar area and wait fie an entire hour before they will start seating you. Only downfall.

Love coming here for local and big name comedy acts..Just seen Arie Spears and Bill Bellamy recently. Admission is reasonable but food and drinks a bit pricey...Be prepared to have an 18% gratuity to be added to your bill at the end of the show.. Seating is plentiful with balcony views to boot...
Overall if you love stand up comedy food and drinks ...You'll love the experience here.

Loved Deon Cole and Ocean!! Hated that we weren't even asked if we like to order drinks or food. The doors open an hour before showtime. We didn't arrive early, about 10 minutes before the show, but we were promptly seated- not great seats but I'll own that...10 minutes before the show. Two couples share a bistro table meant for two (but our table mates were nice). We were never offered the opportunity to place a food or drink order. It was very hot and stuffy, I really wanted a drink. At the conclusion of the show there was an opportunity to take a photo with Deon, but all of the people on the second floor were made to exit, so that was another disappointment. Hot, overly crowded, no drink service, and booted without a photo op. Yay, date night

I enjoy the improv every time I go. No issues with the waitress staff. They have a system in place when serving so that they aren't interupting the main act. They are quick and efficient. I've seen Monique, Cory Holcolm, Godfrey, Charlie Murphy, Tony Rock and a few others that were awesome. My only issue is that the tables are placed SO close to each other. However the drinks are made well and the food is good. Reasonably priced for a night out with the girls or date night. I truly enjoy the experience everytime.
