Tampa Improv Festival Review

Food and drinks are every pricey. Comedians were hilarious!

The show was supposed to start at 10:00 p.m.; we were not seated until 10:50 p.m. The staff did not communicate the reason for the delay to guests who had been waiting in their hot bar area since 9:00 p.m. When guests became angry and started seating themselves a staff member stated screaming at everyone waiting. Two staff members started yelling at each other. No one apologized to guests for the inconvenience.

Always a funny time at the Tampa Improv. I saw Faizon Love this weekend! He is hilarious and very engaging with the audience.

Was not able to purchase 2 tickets the site kept rerouting me so then called and spoke with someone about it and later checked my account and I was charged for 4 tickets and I didn't get any at all so I have to wait until Thursday to see about my refund so that is wrong on so many levels will not buy tickets online only in person from now on

I went to see Bruce Bruce with a girlfriend. The show was awesome & the food was tasty. I feel like we were packed in like sardines. I was afraid to move in fear of bumping into the people around me. It was awkwardly packed & others around me complained about it also. That was my only complaint but it was a big one.

I had 8 chicken wing tips and 2 beers, my bill was 33 dollars, even 2 of wait staff told me that they wouldn't buy food there. Over priced food and cramped seating.

Cool and comfortable space to watch quality entertainment.

The host was pretty dry, not that funny and did A LOT of black racial jokes and how it's hard being black, etc. The opener was ok but the headliner Mark Viera was hilarious!

Everything was wonderful! The show, the food, the service!

Came to the improve theater on 7/17 to see Benito Skinner with my friend. The venue itself is nice but the process to be seated is a little weird. Anyways we got seated with a couple and everyone around us is being served and getting drinks and food. An hour goes by and the show has started and not a single server has acknowledged our presence or even walked by our table to grab someone. A guy at our table finally got up to go find someone to get us drinks. My tab at the end of the night was about $43 with the forced 18% gratuity added. The next day I check my bank statement and it says I have been charged $74!!! Absolutely awful experience, got refunded the overcharged amount but didn't really make up for the bad experience.

Service and the show were absolutely great! Went Saturday 12/14 and saw TJ Miller....he was hilarious! What a great show and the tickets weren't even expensive. Don't let Covid stop you folks from going to the Improv and enjoying a good laugh cuz we all need it right now! Social distancing and masks were enforced for those too scared to leave home still

Wonderful place for comedy and somewhat expensive drinks.

I saw Corey Holcomb and he was very funny. I took my wife for her birthday . We had an excellent time with plenty of laughs. Even the hostess was very funny.

Newphew Tommy and other comedians were off the chain.
