Tambaleo Review

Don't waste your time or your money even looking at living here. My AC went out in mid June and it took them a week to fix it. My apartment was 87 degrees, completely uninhabitable. I had to stay in a hotel for a few nights and the management offered no credit towards my rent.
The plumbing is also horrible. The shower is either scorching hot or ice cold. I don't feel safe walking around at night considering there was a shooting right outside the apartment a few months ago.
DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS APARTMENT

Shout out to the Tambaleo team! I had a long list of maintenance requests because I had put them off, and within hours everything was fixed perfectly. Incredible maintenance, and Kirsten in the office is amazing! During all this covid quarantine, they ve done an amazing job with property management and communication. Thanks guys!

Tambaleo is an awesome community to live at. The location for the price is unbeatable. Most importantly- Kristen (the property manager) is exceptionally helpful, great to work with, and ensures that the residents at Tambaleo are more than satisfied with their living situation. Maintenance is capable and very time efficient. Highly recommend!

Treaty Oaks is still operated by Green Doors, a nonprofit that provides supported housing to low income individuals and families. (This is not a halfway home.) The property is clean and well managed, but unless you are a Vet you'll need to get on a considerable waiting list to be considered as a resident.

Pretty pricy for what you get. Like a lot of Roscoe properties, there are some things that you just can't budge with (admin fees/ maintenance) but the staff was absolutely amazing! I loved the neighborhood and the peacocks!

Just leased here and I m so excited! Talk about great location for the money! Katy was so sweet and helpful cant wait to move in!

Avoid Roscoe Properties and any location they have ever touched.

The exact details of what I witnessed Roscoe Properties do has been removed from this review because Roscoe threatened me with legal action. While my statements can factually be proven true and are not libel I do not intend to let them waste my time. The fact they will resort to legal action to remove negative reviews should tell you all you need to know about Roscoe.

I have no first hand experience with this property but I can speak about Roscoe as a company after 2 year of experience with them.

It is now under new management and the people I have brought here love it. I suggest touring the property and actually talking with the people who live there before deciding. Notice too that most of the reviews are from a while back and while I don't doubt these people had their described experience, it doesn't mean you will have the same. The manager is great!

I like to wait a few months before writing a review, so I can get an idea of what it's like to actually live in a place before reviewing it. I've been at Tambaleo for about four months now, so here are my thoughts!

PROS:

- Great office/property manager. Saiah is communicative and friendly, and seems to really care about resident satisfaction and needs. Definitely the coolest property manager I've ever dealt with!
- Location/layout really can't be beat.
- The maintenance team is really nice and really efficient. If you put in a request they usually stop by next day.
- The updated apartments are really nice looking.

CONS:
(Want to note these cons are more about the building itself; I want to stress that the people behind the scenes at Tambaleo are super awesome).

- There isn't a lot of natural light in the apartments.
- The shower is either scorching hot or ice cold, and fluctuates throughout the shower. I've slipped a few times trying to get away from the suddenly cold or hot water!
- The walls are a bit thin, so you can hear your neighbors having conversations sometimes.

Overall, I'm super happy I signed a lease here. I love the neighborhood, I think Saiah is really great, and I think the apartment is super cute.
