Had a nice stay here. Very friendly, helpful staff and good food and service. Rooms and facilties were clean and social distancing measures were abided more or less. Would of preferred less people in the pool at the time we had booked but people did maintain distance themselves. Would recommend and will return in the future

We stayed here for one night. And I was very disappointed when I had read reviews and specially reviews on Facebook after I had the hotel booked.
Well what can I say never judge a book by its cover or belive anything you read. This hotel was fabulous the staff were very friendly. Our room was very nice warm and the bed was very comfortable. My 4year old loved the pool. Also the Dome next store is brilliant and again my little girl loved it. I had read so much bad reviews on the food so again was nervous enough but wow food was fantastic we had the early bird and again staff were lovely. Also my little girl went on the kids club from 6:30 till 9pm and she had a ball asked can she go again tomorrow (but we had to leave).
Breakfast was good yes would have liked more breads available crossiants. And been really picky was disappointed to see this hotel didn't do elderflower tonic. But overall I will definitely be back.

Have stayed here twice as a family with 2 young kids (7 & 4). Staff very friendly and attentive even when busy. Do good deals with room, breakfast and evening meals (for whole family) included.

Hotel has pool and a well equipped gym. Restaurant on the 4th floor has lovely view over the countryside. Gets lots of guests from Dublin

A very nice hotel, close enough to the town but still a little bit out. Plenty of parking. The food was delicious both in the Restaurant upstairs with the fantastic views and we had room service. The pool was very dated, young kids can't touch the floor and their is no kiddys pool. The locker rooms smelled of damp. Overall it was a great weekend away.

We were given a room that was already occupied and when we went in there were bags and the bed was a mess . If the couple were in it would have been very embarrassing. We had to come back down to Shiv and get another room. The room and food were lovely after all that.

We got a great deal to stay with breakfast, dinner and an hours bowling in the dome. The food was just ok. Nice pool and gym looked good. Beds were comfortable but the room was extremely hot and stuffy with just a small window to open. The staff however were fantastic and are a real credit to the hotel.

The team at the Talbot were exceptional in organising and catering for our large group of 200+ for a sports awards night. The food was excellent and the night ran so smoothly thanks to all of their hard work and planning. Stayed overnight in spacious comfortable room. Highly recommended.
