I attended Camp Caribou in 1963, 64 and 66. Best 2 1/2 months each year of my childhood, sailing, fishing, crafts hiking and camping! I m sure all those great councilors are long gone but I have fond memories of the care and guidance they provided to nurture each kid including me!

I attended Camp Caribou from 1973 through 1977. Great experiences. The Lermans are wonderful people, and the camp was very well run. Highly personalized attention. I loved it. Bill Lerman, the Son, of the owners, Al and Evelyn Lerman (at that time) was an important influence on me. Very positive all the way around.

Great kids and pretty good staff but the Admin is not that good. The hiring director is good guy but his father in law is the main issue. Wouldn't work there if you have anything to do with sports. Hopefully they get the right people in place to do the job and not just family and former campers.

I attended this camp from 1969-1972 and was by far the best athlete on that peninsula. The owners were great, and their son continued that great leadership. My nephew's went there and said it's still heaven.

I camped here from 1971-74 and they were the best times of my life by far (until I met my wife) - I also went back to do father-son weekends in 2001-2003 with my nephews and they were just as good!! Great camp, great family owners (still hasn't changed) and more memories than I can list.
