Proper precautions and guidelines of covid 19 was followed. Rooms were clean and neat. Bags were sanitized at the entrance and temperature was checked at all times while entering. Sanitizers were kept at every possible corners including lifts. Breakfast had a buffet for cold items. Hot items had a fixed menu. Lunch and dinner was at Shamiana with a fixed menu and limited guests at a time. Masks were to be worn at all times. Amenities like swimming pool, spas etc were closed. Over-all experience was great and safe. Staffs were very welcoming and helpful

I am here now, it's amazing experience, we are well looked after, I am on my crutches, staff always ready to help, this was special Birthday celebrations and they gave us Birthday cake decorations, it's was so lovely, life time happy memories, Thank you all in Taj to make our holiday special,
But I would say we got bored after 3rd day as there is no entertainment, you go out from hotel and it's different word. Still it was good holiday

As doctors coming back from covid work after a hard day at it, makes a huge difference if I've ggot a nice room warm bath and amazing ffood waiting. !! Have been a backbone for the medical fraternity since past 4 months the entire Taj group. Thanks

Firstly, the staff (Mona Singh) spoiled my surprise for my Dad s birthday by calling him not once but twice despite mentioning specifically and clearly that they should avoid calling my Dad s number (who is a Taj innercircle member). Secondly, the food is veryy average for the price you are pricing. Instead go out to Colaba social.

Lovely place, great lobby, polite staff. We enjoyed out dinner at their restaurant though service was a bit slow, however might be due to festival season. Taj is a real gem though, expensive but classy.

Taj defines hospitality. And that is what we experienced. Staying in Taj is an experience altogether. It's not about only the room but about everything. Starting from the welcoming till the check out everything is so satisfying. The breakfast spread is scrumptious. We requested for a surprise decoration for my mom's bday and they did it beautifully.

The Taj Mahal Palace in Mumbai is one of the best ...

The Taj Mahal Palace in Mumbai is one of the best luxury hotels in the city. It was established in the early 19th century and has become a trademark when it comes to the hospitality and warmth known from the Taj Group of Hotels. Both renowned local and international individuals have stayed in the hotel, like Mahatma Gandhi, prime influencer for Indian Independence Movement, and Mick Jagger, world renowned music icon. Combining royalty, modernity and at the same time, tradition, the Taj Mahal Palace has stood the test of time and it would continue to do so.

Did you know that the hotel was established even before the Gateway of India in Mumbai? Thus, it served as the landmark for passing ships back in the colonial era. Now though, with the nearby Gateway of India and also the Colaba Causeway, the five-star hotel is one of the best options for a premier stay in Mumbai. The hotel overlooks the majestic Arabian sea and even the nearby Marine Drive is merely a 15-minute walk away from it. With such history and heritage, the Taj Mahal Palace is certainly not just a hotel, it's a part of the rich legacy that is of India.

I have visited this once, maybe some months ago. The lobby was clean, with some nice-hearing music. The rooms were clean too. Everyday the cleaners will come to clean our room. I pay respect to them. And even, at the entrance, they have taken many safety measures and in the hotel, there is atleast one sanitizer in every corner. Hence, this is a luxurious stay.

This hotel is one of the famous hotel of Taj. This hotel is located at Apollo Bandar, Colaba, Mumbai just opposite to Gate way of India. There is a beautiful view from the hotel like the Arabian Sea and the Gate way of India. You can see the boat and spped boat. The place is 10 minutes away from both CST railway station and Churchgate railway station.

Jamsetji Nusserwanji Tata, founder of the Tata Group, opened the Taj Mahal Palace, a hotel in Mumbai (formerly called Bombay) overlooking the Arabian Sea, on 16 December 1903. It was the first Taj property and the first Taj hotel. There are several anecdotal stories about why Tata opened the Taj hotel.
