Ome of the best hotels i have visited till now. Top class security, top class service and food. I went there for my one day training and the stay there was so comfortable. Staffs were super friends. Evening songs in the lobby was too god. I would definitely recommend it to everyone. Price is on higher side but worth every penny.
Brilliant ambience ... Ball room is nice and spacious.. food is delicious . Dal makhni is outstanding. Location of the hotel is prime and sea facing. Staff is courteous and well mannered. Washrooms are super clean and well maintained.

Probably one of Mumbai's best Hotels.... The view and breeze is worth every penny... The on-ground staff are very kind and offer services beyond expectations... They are very kind and cordial with senior citizens and are very understanding... The lower level conference hall is huge and can easily accommodate 200 guests... Premises are spic and span as expected and Valet service is also available for no extra charges... Would definitely recommend it

I had stayed for a night on my birthday. They made it special by decorating room with flowers and balloon, a small yummy pastry. Such a beautiful gesture. Now coming to rooms, they are as clean as there have never been used. The decor as in the tiles, walls, curtains as so elegant and vintage. We had a pool view room. Staying in Taj is my best hotel experience till now. There was not a single thing to complaint about and thousand things to appreciate. Btw I had booked Taj towers and got an upgrade to Mahal. I was delighted and overwhelmed. The property is so beautiful, the biggest pool I have ever seen across hotels. Staff is so humble that words can t express, following indian culture so well.
Breakfast was such a fun time we had, each and everything was as tasteful as it can be. Not a single goof up.

Just loved being here, would always consider Taj without fail.

Our return to the Taj Mahal Tower was long awaited...

Our return to the Taj Mahal Tower was long awaited, and better than imagined. This time, rather than the Tower, we chose rooms in the Palace Wing for the grandeur and to be immersed in the heritage. Our city view was of a rooftop garden and leafy view beyond, and we relaxed in the quiet, the spacious accommodations, and perfect service. Our choice of thalis from all over India served in Masala Kraft was flawless, to be honest. We often relaxed in the Palace Lounge, served with every preference recalled and every selection fulfilled by Salman. Our rooms were cared for by Prathmesh, who kept everything up to the Taj standards. So, if you are conflicted by the Tower vs. the Palace Wing, both are excellent, but the Palace is not to me missed. If you must, save before you go and you will never forget a single detail of your time in Old Bombay

Jamsetji Nusserwanji Tata , founder of the Tata Group , opened the Taj Mahal Palace , a hotel in Mumbai (formerly called Bombay) overlooking the
Arabian Sea , on 16 December 1903. It was the first Taj property and the first Taj hotel. There are several anecdotal stories about why Tata opened the Taj hotel. According to a story, he decided to open the hotel after an incident involving racial discrimination at the Watson's Hotel in Mumbai, where he was refused entry as the hotel permitted only Europeans.

The place is beautiful. The staff is absolutely great. The hospitality is superb. Everything about Taj Mahal is wonderful. You just can't decide whether the old one is good or the new one . Both are equally out of the world.

We came here for a staycation and boy what a wonderful day it turned out to be. We got a perfect room perched atop the 11th floor and the outstanding hospitality awed us. The ambience is a little old-worldly yet charming. It Taj hotel here has two wings - the palace wing and the tower wing. This review is about the tower wing.
