By far the worst company I have ever worked with. Tried to pay off my loan and they rejected my payment, charged me and then blamed my bank for it. Refused to remove my penalty. I went ahead and paid it off again and then called to confirm. They said they had not received my payment and requested I pay it over the phone. Then they double charged me and I've fought and fought to get my money back. Garbage Company.

Got a loan through Care Credit for some dental work for my son. Sold my loan to "Borrowers First" which is 25% interest, Terrible accounting System and customer service is non-stop hand offs to the next brainless person. Without notice or my permission - They eventually said my loan was to be serviced by SST (Systems and Services Technologies) Tried to speak to a manager at each - and they just kept hanging up on me. They don't even have an easy online pay system. If you try to pay online they charge you $15 - come on man - you don't make enough of 25% interest rate? You have to mail a check in
I finally was able to get another much better loan to pay off this bloodsucking loan. By the time the payoff got there, I had overpaid by $600 Some accounting there. I called to find how to get my money back and they said it will take 3-4 weeks!! WHAT?? Can I charge YOU the Daily Interest Accrued that you charged ME
The absolute worst customer service! I have spent nearly an hour trying to talk to someone about my loan, and everyone just gives me another phone number to call. Multiple numbers have hung up on me. I still have not reach someone who can assist me! This company is horrible!
Don't let these idots hold your title, they are crooks and will "loose" it or sell to another, and another, and another, basically you will never find it !!!!!!!
Absolutely horrendous customer service. Unfortunately a loan was bought out from another company and we've had the displeasure of dealing with SST ever since. They do not keep accurate payment records then tell you that you are behind even when you can pull the transactions from your bank statements. If you pay a double payment one half of it will seemingly disappear and you'll be behind. Do NOT ever take out a loan with this company unless you want an absolute headache.

This is the worst group of people in a call center I've ever dealt with. Uneducated on their own system and have the nerve to be rude. You can't be dumb and a smart ass at the same time. This is one company that needs to start all over, from scratch
I have the worst experience ever dealing with a financing company called SST, Inc 4315 Picket Road, St. Joseph, MO. They financed a boat I purchased. I had an accident with the boat and the insurance company sent me a 90% check which I signed and sent to SST to payoff the loan. They tell me their policy is to hold my refund for 30 days before they will refund me. So I would suggest anyone dealing with SST be aware of this. They are a most unreliable company that I am aware of.
The worst company I have ever dealt with. Some of the operators are nice. I sent a payment through money order and the other through Western union. And they said they never received the payment through western union. A whole month.
Stay away from this company, they took over pioneer military loans and told me I still owe them over $5,000 loan which I told them I already paid it off but still insist I owe them
This lender was used through Bass Pro Shops for my boat loan. What a mistake. Refinanced to my local credit union after four months when I noticed issues with the way my payments were being applied to the loan. There were also no intuitive ways of paying additional monies to the loan. It s basically a scam company that s banking on you just taking that monthly payment and keeping your mouth shut. Avoid or refinance out. You can do it!
This is quite possibly the worst company on the planet to deal with. I have my account set up with auto pay through my bank and have had zero issues until this company came along. They call constantly saying that my payment has not been received; it was sent out over 2 weeks ago. Spoke to Rebecca this morning and she has of ZERO help. Don't walk, RUN away from this garbage lender. Terrible company, lousy customer service and rude!
This company is a joke. Their customer service is the worse I have every dealt with. Not only did I have to battle with them for weeks over fixing their website so I could setup automatic payments, but once it was setup it took two payments. I argued with them over the phone and no matter what I said they would not refund my money unless I faxed them a rolling statement. I told them I was out of town and had no access to my statement or a fax machine. However, I told them they know they received the payment and are not for the customer at all. Talking to a supervisor is a waste of time as well, they do not care about the customer. I know I will get this paid off and I will NEVER finance another thing through this lousy company. Please take this review seriously and do not finance anything through them. I had to call my bank and have them try and cancel the payment. They are not for the customer, only the customer's money. I so wish I had saw the reviews before doing any business with them.
I purchased a trailer about 2 1/2 years from a local dealer and used a bank that they recommended since my credit union at the time didn't finance RV's. Apparently these knuckleheads ended up taking over the loan shortly afterwards and that is where service went down. Anyone thinking of using this company, picture a large dog chasing you and run in the opposite direction! Pete T. had severe issues with them 8 months ago and mentioned contacting the state. Exactly what I plan on doing as well, Attorney General's Office!!!
This company is absolutely horrible! I financed a horse trailer thru SunTrust Bank who is equally as horrible, this company handled my monthly payments. I sold the horse trailer and called to get the payoff, I was give a very specific payoff amount and proceeded to wire the exact amount as I was told. Then an entire month later I am told that I still owe them money... not just a little money but an entire payment. I tried to speak to a customer rep who was extremely rude then got passed to a so called manager who was even ruder. Ultimately to be told the payoff amount I was given did not include this amount....why???? I asked, they just kept telling me it just was not included in the payoff amount I was given and I had to pay it of they would file a negative complaint on my credit report. PREDATORS is what they are! I will NEVER EVER give SunTrust a penny of my money!!!!
Worse company ever! I'd give 0 stars if I could. They took double payments out of our bank 2 different months. Then tried saying that all those payments got kicked back (we verified with the bank that only one from each transaction was returned to us even though we knew that to begin with) then they reported us late to the credit bureaus even though we were never late and had automatic payments set up. We got a loan through our bank and paid them off. Ans now trying to fix the huge mess they made on my husband's credit! They never reported it was paid off either! Oh and their customer service loves to make you feel like everything is your fault. Idk how they are still open for business or how they have a good rating on the BBB! Never ever use this company if you have a choice! We unfortunately did not as our loan was sold to them from another loan company! They really should be shut down based on everything I have read!
They are the worst book keepers I've ever seen. They will continuously call you telling you that your behind payments even when you provide them copies of the canceled checks.
Unfortunately the other's reviews are very accurate. EVERY person I have dealt with with this company is extremely rude. They really appear to dislike what they are doing. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THE AUTODRAFT! They drafted 2 payments at the same time & gave me a run around on the refund. Claimed I had to have info directly from my bank faxed to them. Had it faxed twice & and they still refused to refund the double payment drafted. Totally their mistake but refused to correct it! Ended up just applying to the next payment due. Even my bank said this was not right & that they should be reported for these methods! Beware! Get a loan with another company!
WORST and most RUDE people I have ever had the displeasure of having to work with. They start out all nice and polite until there s a discrepancy and then they treat you like garbage and like everything is your fault and in no way are they at all to blame! I wish there was a way to put the remainder of my loan through another company because these people are awful
I dealt with identity theft and fraud on a loan taken out with SST. There was no interaction with this company that was positive. I m still trying to resolve the case and clear my credit. I have nothing positive to say about the company and I can t emphasize how much I would avoid doing business with them.

IF I COULD CHOOSE A ZERO STAR REVIEW, I WOULD! I wish I would have NEVER purchased my RV through this lender. They call about 5 times a day as soon as you're overdue. They make it almost IMPOSSIBLE to change the due date, (which would make it SO much easier to auto pay on time if it coincided with payday!) are rude and REFUSE to be understanding or helpful! KISS MY A$$ RON or whatever your dumb name is!
Still in the process of dealing with them on behalf of my mother. They tend to be very rude, can't follow directions when they call they get very snoopy inquiring why ive requested the info I did. Continually telling me that the P. O. A. Isnt noted correctly. I however am not done with them.
Very weak website, wouldn't allow amount to pay automatic every month on payment to loan. Only method to pay is through a E check no other options. The website to loan doesn't show your balance what left on your loan. Terrible loan company.
This is the worst excuse for a credit card company. It is almost impossible to get someone on the phone. The auto attendant feature when you call basically loops and you get nowhere. Staff is rude and frankly doesn't care when you tell them that they are. This is basically an old school loan shark company and if they buy your debit from your legitimate lender, look out. The worst of the worst. if there were thumbs down logo's I would use that instead of the one star which they don't deserve
I had a credit card with this company. I had it for almost 20 yrs and when I first got it my credit wasn't that great (I can't remember if SST was the original bank or if they bought the account from another bank). Once my credit went up I called to see if they would lower my interest. They didn't. After a couple of years and a couple of calls I realized they would probably never lower it. Capital One did, so I kept their card and called to cancel this one. The customer service person I talked to was rude.
Most of the time you call to cancel a service or card or whatever the company tries to give you incentives to stay. Not this company. The customer service person I talked to actually tried to scare me in to keeping their card. He warned me that my credit score would drop when they reported the account to the credit bureau as "closed by account holder." I told him I just wanted it closed. He came across as very upset with me and after he was done I started to ask him a question and he hung up on me.
I m surprised by all the negative reviews of this company. They bought out my Pioneer loan in April of 2019, but I ve had nothing but a great experience with them. I was able to call and talk to a lady about getting all of the extra money I was paying through my allotment to be fully paid out to them from the bank that it goes through. She was super nice and helpful and gave me detailed information of what to say to the bank that allots the money out of my pay to SST to get it done. I also requested a payment history report for every payment that s been paid to them since they took over my loan (for my records) to be emailed to me, and they kindly did so. I ve been able to send in extra payments through their website on top of the money already being allotted from my pay with absolutely no issues. I m now on the verge of paying off my loan almost 2 years early (I m 15 months into a 36mo payback term. My next payment isn t due until April 2021 however, I still make my monthly payments without skipping any months to keep the interest from accruing. I ll have it paid off by the end of next month. I guess I ve gotten lucky. Sure the interest rate isn t the best however, that s been my motivation to pay it off as soon as possible.

Had a Pioneer Military loan, I guess SST took over the loan and now have harassing emails and calls saying I am behind, even though when the loan was with Pioneer through allotment never had an issue. Now issues constantly. Stay far away.
Total rip off. Stay away from this company. We made a $10k payment to pay down our RV loan. They lost it. They continue to charge us interest, they continue to deny having the money, even with all of the paperwork faxed to them by my bank (4 times). Not to mention, I asked them to pay all on the principle, and they said they couldn't, part had to go toward interest. I am now in conversation with the state about their practices.
