Great time at the Syracuse Stage, and the production of Noises Up. Highly recommended for everyone to go see a well done play.

The play Native Gardens is very thought provoking and enjoyable, not mention funny
I enjoyed the play, Thoughts of A Colored Man. Realistic and thought provoking.
Amazing production of elf the musical. Had a great night out!
We are lucky to have such a professional theater in Central New York. It contributes to our quality of life.
Have season subscription past two years. Love going.
Very good productions held here. Shares space with the Syracuse University Drama Dept.
One of the best classic adaptations ever! Such fun! Fantastic acting, writing, staging!
Broadway bounded up and coming theatrical plays. Limited accessibility. Seating is snug, cramped as older theatres, seating. Good place to view old and new themes of life. Polite partons and staff.
Best local theatre of anywhere I've lived. Closest to off Broadway you will ever find. Stage design is always amazing as well as the caliber of acting.
Excellent venue, friendly staff, phenomenal performances
Syracuse stage is fabulous! Even when you see a show that makes you think a lot about the content, the performance is of excellent quality! A superb evening out.
Went to see Pride and Prejudice and it was a very good show. We live loved it!! The actors were great, the seats we had were perfect, the ticket prices were reasonable and the theater itself is very nice. Staff there are very helpful and we have been to many shows there. Would recommend to any and all. Just pick out your favourite show and get tickets and go. Well worth the time and effort.
Wonderful theater, not a bad seat in the place. Always well done, interesting, thought provoking plays. Highly recommend going.
Excellent place offering a vast selection of shows and live performances can be a little pricey but worth a shot once in a lifetime experience
I just returned home after being fortunate enough to take 7 of my students to see Beauty and the Beast! The show was AMAZING and has a fun filled cast. My students were very excited to take a picture with The Beast and Mrs. Potts and I really appreciate that they both took the time to speak with them. I, also, want to express my gratitude to a woman who helped my student and I. My student, during the show, got a bloody nose and we had to sneak out. Tracy came to help us and she offered not only suggestions, tissues, water and support but she also cleaned my student's shirt! She encouraged us to go back in, when his nose stopped bleeding so we could enjoy the rest of the show, while she cleaned his shirt! Your actions were more powerful than you will ever know! You made an impact on my student and he was talking about how kind you were to him when we drove him home. Thank you for lending a helping hand and for role modeling the Christmas spirit to us both! I hope you all have a wonderful holiday- thank you for making a meaningful one for us!
No bad seats, strong performances and fantastic sets make this a wonderful asset for the community!
Great small theater with a variety of shows each year. Really not a bad seat in the house.
Play was great. Seats too ! Odd about the break however, they offer a pre order drink option but even with that, it is hard to drink it before the play starts again. If you are in line for a drink, there is no way you are ordering and drinking in that short amount of time. Not sure what my recommendation would be, but something should change. Many upset people.
Nice little theater! The venue is wonderful. The production of Elf was hilarious!
Great performance, ambiance and lighting. Tip: Have a drink in the expansive lobby before showtime or during intermission.
Important: Sound system is mediocre. Try to avoid the balcony and instead opt for orchestra center seats only.
Syracuse stage is a treasure for our city. I've been a season ticket holder every year since their first-half season in 1973 - 74. The theater is intimate and comfortable, and the prices are very reasonable. Most importantly, the quality of the productions is excellent. Purchase season tickets and you'll have a thoroughly enjoyable evening out every six weeks or so from September through May. Also, this year with the purchase of season tickets you get a 10% discount at the bar where you can order drinks in advance for intermission.
One of many great live arts venues in Syracuse, it's small enough where you always have a great seat but not so small that the production value suffers. Every show there has been a hit within our group.
Saw Elf the Musical and had an absolute ball!! Could not recommend enough!!
Saw the SU Drama production of The Crucible and saw A Chorus Line last month. These students are rising stars. Quality productions with great talent. An economical way to see Broadway shows.
We always enjoy the great shows that are offered and try to catch as many shows here as we can. With the seating area there is not a bad seat in the house. The performers make you feel like you a part of the show.
We went to see the Drag Battle. Loved the whole show! Staff were very courteous and helpful.
This play is very entertaining. The slap stick comedy definitely reves up in the second and third acts and the audience was laughing the entire time. It was amazing to watch the cast execute this comedy. Loved it!!!
Syracuse Stage is a great local theater. I have been to many plays there and recommend it to everyone.
Saw a wonderful show, like many before it. Always makes for a great night of entertainment.
You will find some difficult parking since this is such a popular place. The Syracuse Stage has always performed fantastic pieces for all ages and audiences.
I ordered a gift certificate for my mother for Christmas and they never mailed it out. When I inquired about it they said they had sent it but they do not have any records stating they did so. They offered nothing to amend for their mistake but rather blamed the USPS. I think that when you are mailing out something with a cash value upwards of 100 dollars there should be some documentation. Be VERY wary of ordering anything online from them.
Went to see Noises Off for last performance Sunday matinee. Great set, dialogue, acting and costumes. Play was laugh out loud funny..I have never been to a bad show at this venue. Looking forward to Possessing Harriet!
The place is small and the picture on the website makes it seem like the stage is further away from the front row then it is. We thought we got great seats but we were so close it was hard to see some of the show. The place however was really nice and the play we saw (Elf the musical) was fantastic!! I would recommend this place but don't sit in the first two or three rows.
We saw Pride and Prejudice with a lecture beforehand. Informative lecture helped me focus differently during the production. I enjoy the lectures/ cocktail hours. Adds an extra to the performances.
Cute idea to have a "Bennett cocktail".
The plan as y was very good. I love Syracuse stage. I wish they had more plays during the year. I plan to subscribe for a membership
It's a nice place to go see a play and some stage areas are old
Me and the woman went there for the first time in my entire life. First time I ever seen a live production. Had a great time.
We attended the Sunday evening performance of Noises Off and were impressed by the amazing talent on the stage, as well as the fabulous set. It was a lively show, and we stayed for the talk back with the cast and director. It was fabulous. What a great night. Thank you!!
Possessing Harriet was such a good play, only an hour and a half but very captivating. Really enjoyed the play
I had a great experience in watching a play there. Seats and the accoustics is great. The magic play was different but has a great message.
Excellent performances and not a bad seat in the house (this picture is the view from middle, back balcony - I would definitely buy this seat again, or any of them!)
Syracuse Stage is probably is the best kept secret of Central NY. The theater is intimate. There isn't a bad seat in the house. The staff is wonderful. They are helpful, respectful, and very enthusiastic about the shows AND THEIR JOBS. I have been attending the Stage since 1990, most seasons buying season tickets. I don't think there has been one show that I can say something bad about. I can name some that were outstanding!! But that would take up too much time and space.
If you have not taken advantage of this first class professional theater, you are being foolish. Take advantage of what is enlightening, entertaining, and reasonably priced.
There were at least 2 theaters here, on the smaller side, but well kept, clean and comfortable seating areas. Sound system was very good. Nice location with a few restaurants close by.
Lovely productions generally well-liked by the general public.
Saw Beauty and the Beast. It was great! Everything I've seen here has been great.
