Fantastic experience working with EMS on a project that other companies told me couldn't be completed over the Christmas period. The project team at EMS delivered on time and within budget. The communication between all parties was excellent and a special thanks to the engineering team that worked on the bank holiday to make sure we hit the deadline. I will most definitely be working with them again in the future
I've used my maiden name, as I don't wish to get the installer into any trouble.
Basically my manager ordered me a charge point for my company vehicle, the installer came to fix the unit however the unit was the incorrect type! I was really annoyed and upset.
So I phoned their office and was greeted by an abrupt patronising and rude gentleman, who basically couldn't care!!!
The installer had to calm me down, and a correct one was fitted a few days later, the inconvenience was very stressful, I told my manager to go with another company.
Just wanted to help others and say this company is very unorganised and not punctual!
I would add further a possible course on customer service skills.
I definitely won't be referring others to this company.
Very very awful company, my father had a Ev point installed, the installer and the office were very very rude over the phone, work was very untidy! There are much more professional companies out there who install ev points.
Stay clear!

If I could give zero i would. the company is also trading as per ev and ev supermarket and other names as well i bet. took months to get my ev car charger installed, wrong charger , engineer not turning up, lots of excuses . refused a refund when i want ed it. they ignored my complaints just kept giving excuses, i even asked to speak to the owner he wouldn't speak to me . please i ask everyone avoid this company worst service ever.
Update. There are reviews on here from people that work for EMS. Dave Cook is someone i have spoken with as are a few of the others
i wouldn't mind betting that most of the 5 star reviews are from ems workers.

This company fitted a charging box for me of which I gave clear instructions to my partner to pass on to fitter, as my partner is not very technical minded.
When I got back and found that the cable had been put through my wooden frame garage I was really angry my partner said that, that was not the route we wanted the fitter did that anyway to save time for himself.
Thankfully for me I'm moving in less than 2 weeks and have already had a new one fitted from another company who fully took my needs and requirements seriously.
The new owner wants to keep the current one I have.
This was my experience as a whole. :(

If you are looking at reviews with a view to using this company then I should advise you think again. The company are so incompetent it s actually unbelievable, as others have said, they take your money and that s where the good service ends !! I had 3 installation dates booked, first - waited in all day, no sign by 3.30pm so I called them, problem with supply of charger !! (Why not call me that morning to advise). Second date - I called them in the morning to ask what time I could expect the engineer, told he was at another job in York, again no further calls until I called again at 2pm, we will get back to you to find out where he is, surprise, no call by this time it s getting dark, called them again...sorry he s been delayed. Finally as I was just about to cancel my order they gave me another date and promised this would be honoured as it was a morning appointment - day comes and true to their word engineer arrives. His first question, have you got the charger ? No I don t !!! So engineer is here but no charger to fit (I know what your thinking now- cowboy outfit). Revert back to the last date when the engineer was stuck in York ? What was he going to fit if he was ever booked to come ?. Anyway, engineer does what he can and prepares the electrical installation ready for the charger, eventually over a week later I get the charger installed, phew !!! Well no...the screw that secured the IP rating to the unit underneath had not been fastened, I had to do that to protect myself and the unit. As the charger was not displaying information correctly, after trying to contact this shower time after time, I resorted to contacting the manufacturers directly, after doing some fault finding and looking at the installation in the meter cupboard, the unit has been wired incorrectly !!! Called again, sent emails .... well who would have thought no response. Unit still not working as it should as a consequence of their incompetence. Seriously STAY AWAY from this company it is easily the most incompetent and disgraceful customer service I have ever received, all you will do is give yourself problems.
