We engaged Synergy for a major renovation of our home in Great Falls VA, a house we d recently purchased that didn t quite fit our needs. It s difficult to express, in as few words as possible, our satisfaction with their product as there are too many factors involved in a major construction to be able to include them all.

Mark and Mina and their team became like members of our extended family; they talked with us and asked questions to uncover the aspects of the house that could be changed to make our home one where we would use the space, inside and out, to the greatest extent possible. The team examined every inch of the house, in order to discover it s potential and to avoid problems. We learned quickly that we could trust them completely, their diligence and attention to every detail allowed us to leave the job to the team, which we did.

They delivered a design that was, frankly, beyond what we could have imagined. Their architect, Tom, is a hidden gem with significant talent and skill. He monitored the entire construction for oversight and to maintain the integrity of his design. The quality of the construction is superior, the carpenters are highly skilled.

The people who work for Mark and Mina are some of the nicest people I ve ever met which made working with these creative, helpful, skilled people a pleasure, it was never a burden.

We were greatly blessed by the work of the hands of this company and it is my hope you will consider using them for your project. If I had another project, I would not hesitate to pick up the phone and call Mark. If I have a problem with the project they ve completed, I know they will respond graciously and quickly.

The construction was completed several months ago and we continue to enjoy our home and are ever grateful for Synergy Design and Construction.

We love to host family and friends and always felt our kitchen felt restrictive and hard to cook and entertain in because of the awkward island configuration. My wife and I had been considering doing a major renovation to our Reston townhome for a long time. As our kids began to get older and move on to college, we couldn t wait to create the open floor plan and master suite we've always wanted.

I've partnered with Synergy Design & Construction on flooring installation at countless projects in the area over the last eight years. We had a previous remodel not go well, so when we started looking for someone to redo our kitchen and master bath, we were extremely cautious. Synergy made the whole experience a pleasure, from start to finish. They responded to our initial request within 24 hours and from the very beginning were always on time for calls and meetings.

They listened to our concerns about our existing space and provided several well thought out design options for us to choose from. They listened and incorporated our suggestions and helped us come up with the best option for our family. Once work started on the project, their punctuality and professionalism continued. They were here on time every morning and cleaned up before they left every day. They responded to any concerns we brought up immediately and provided solutions. The biggest surprise was that they actually delivered the project on time and on budget!

The best part of working with Synergy was the team. Mark, Mina and the rest of the team are so wonderful, we were sad to see them go once the project was completed!

Our old kitchen is in bad state it needs some fixing so my husband and I decided to have it remodeled. We walked in to take a look at their kitchen designs, check out our options and materials and get an estimate. We were not greeted waited for few minutes but no one acknowledged us. They waited for us to walk out the door before offering assistance. You got to improve your customer service else you would be losing potential clients.

I chose Synergy for my remodel because from the outset it was clear they were organized, detail oriented and had great project management processes and tools so we could communicate easily and see progress along the way. I didn't want to have to manage any part of the process and I had every confidence they would be easy to work with and would deliver on-time and on-budget. I also saw the quality of their work firsthand in a friend's home so I knew they would deliver a beautiful remodel. Synergy was able to work with my ideas while also providing realism and a beautiful design in line with my budget.

Despite taking place against the backdrop of the COVID-19 pandemic, Synergy stayed on schedule and even got ahead of it. Our Lead Carpenter was a rock star. He was organized, respectful and considerate of our home and our family. There was very little disruption to us. At the end of the process, I wasn't surprised but everyone else was that Synergy kept (and beat) the timeline. A lot of people said beforehand all remodels ran over the estimated time, to which I said, "You haven't seen their project plan!". I had total confidence in the timeline and my expectations were not only met but exceeded. Not even a pandemic stopped Synergy. We love our new spaces and enjoyed working with the entire Synergy team.

We spoke with a number of companies before deciding on our remodeling partner, but none gave the same impression as Synergy. From the very beginning, we were really impressed with how everyone on the team was professional and knowledgeable. Synergy not only completed the project during the COVID-19 pandemic, they seamlessly coordinated with our building's management and handled the many restrictions in place that come with condo remodeling. The crews working on our home were kind and considerate and they worked diligently to ensure everything was perfect.

Synergy Design & Construction did an amazing job with our main floor renovation. This was a complicated project with structural constraints. Mark and his team were amazing communicators throughout the project, both with us and with all the trades that were involved. Lead carpenter Chris was like one of the family by the time we finished. They took great care with controlling dust, cleaning up each day, and making sure the quality of work met our expectations. We could not have been happier and will be using them again for our upcoming laundry room renovation.

We were working with an Interior Designer who recommended Synergy. She had seen them in a client s home while they were installing a shelf as part of a renovation. When it wasn t absolutely perfect they took it out and did it again, and I said that is a contractor I want to work with !

After meeting with them we thought that they had the best attitude, the best presentation, and we had no idea when we chose them how good they were going to be. They turned out to comnpletely exceed our expectations. When they say they will do anything to make sure that you re happy with the result, they re absolutely right, they do.

One of the things we really liked about Synergy was, they curate their list of vendors so if you re going to need a plumber on your job, they re going to bring in the plumber they work with that they think is the best. And as they put it in one of our pre-meetings, if we re giving that plumber $200,000 worth of business in the course of a year, when we tell him 6 months out, 4 weeks out, 2 weeks out, call him the day before to confirm he s going to be there, he s going to show up and show up on time.

You could rely on them being there on time and not only was the crew there, but so was our Synergy person in charge. Drake took complete charge of the job. We didn t have to worry about dealing with subcontractors. He knew what they were doing all the time and he worked with us beautifully. And the project was completed exactly on schedule!

I wish I had six more houses and if I did I would renovate them all and I would use Synergy.

Choosing the right home improvement contractor is not an easy task. There are many out there with great websites, pictures, reviews. After interviewing the top 5 that we narrowed down, including one that was recommended by our friend, what made the difference was we felt so at ease and comfortable with Synergy. All the other contractors had great ideas and presented well, but they did not give us the connection we felt with Synergy. Sometimes you go with whom you "like" the most.

Synergy took care of the entire process and it was about as well run and smooth as possible for a home renovation. From the design to the daily tasks, every aspect of the project, even cookie delivery, was tracked in our project portal. We knew exactly what was going on each day and every question was answered immediately. In addition, there were weekly on-site progress meetings for additional details and in person time with the project manager.

The design team took our concept and came up with designs that exceeded our expectations. The on-site team turned the design into reality while treating our home with respect and were always on time. We couldn't be happier with our incredible renovated space.

I have seen many projects completed by Synergy Design & Construction over the past 5 years. I am always amazed by their craftmanship, crews and overall way they run their job sites. They run a tight ship and keep the client informed of all that is going on. When they say they want you to renovate happy, they do everything in their power to follow that! We used Synergy to finish our basement and they were outstanding. They place great emphasis on the design phase and work closely with you in a collaborative way to make sure you are getting what you want. They spent hours measuring every inch of the basement before breaking ground to ensure that there would be no surprises later on. During the construction, they host weekly meetings to make sure expectations are being met and that we knew what was happening at all times. The finished project far exceeded our expectations.

Synergy remodeled nearly our entire home. After a decade in our house, it was time for a major change and we were elated with the outcome. The remodel wrapped up a few months ago but I still pause and think about what our home looked like before the remodel compared to now and it s hard not to be thankful. The design team suggested some hardware changes that really tied in the new lighting fixtures and other updates into a cohesive design.

We chose to work with Synergy because they provide a broad range of services and were able to remodel both our Kitchen and build a screened porch at the same time. What really impressed us was the thoughtful design process and the detailed level of planning that took place upfront. When it came to construction, we really appreciated having a dedicated Lead Carpenter on our project. He was always very considerate of the fact we were living in our home during construction and kept us informed about what was happening - and when! The whole team was very responsive and were always available to answer questions and come up with solutions when any issues did arise. The online project management system was great and allowed us to easily follow along with the project. What surprised us the most about the experience was that it really wasn't that disruptive! We absolutely love the finished spaces and it doesn't get much better than spending family time together relaxing and enjoying them!

In searching for a contractor for our basement remodel in Reston, it was important to find people we could trust, and with whom we could forge a convivial relationship.
