For all the Brides out there stressing about being lied to, or shady people in the wedding industry during a planning process for one of the BEST times of your life- I assure you, that you need to steer VERY CLEAR from this place.





I know many are thinking "why did you wait so long to reach out?" She was on maternity leave and I was tying to be respectful of that- which came back and backfired on me.

Brides, you don't want to work with shady people who have no integrity. I feel that my deposit was never refundable, even though I was told it was. Steer clear of Heidi's Events and Catering, especially if you have a special dietary need because it probably isn't going to be met.

Heidi's Events and Catering catered my wedding in Sedona in June 2016 - It was amazing!! Heidi planned everything from the rental equipment, tableware, linens, floral, centerpieces, bar service and an amazing plated dinner. My Husband and I cannot stop talking about how perfect of a day it was and our family and friends are still telling us how delicious the dinner was. It was the best party ever and we have Heidi's Events and Catering to thank for it all!! :)

Heidi's Catering does amazing work! I was worried about scheduling a special celebration for my nephew's baptism due to the pandemic. I called four companies before I got to Heidi's. All the other companies had voice mail or "online request forms" but never answered or got back to me.

I called Heidi's and immediately got a hold of Marissa. Within an hour I had the entire event planned. I was able to customize everything - table arrangements, food choices -- the entire celebration. Chef Charlie produced an amazing pancake bar, Jake served a perfect Bloody Mary and Mimosa. My family raved about the event. Of course, my 4 month old nephew was clueless but the pictures will give him a lasting memory. I even made last-minute changes for additional tables and chairs -- no problem.

Please give this small business YOUR business. I am certain you will be amazed.

The food at our wedding was delicious and the staff were friendly and professional. The team made sure that everything was perfect from the first meeting, to tasting event, to the dinner itself. They also made sure to accommodate allergies.

Hired this company for my small wedding. The initial tasting and planning left me feeling like the catering was going to be handled professionally and without issue. I could not have been more wrong. I paid for 11 tables and was told when they arrived to set up that they were short 2 tables. It was a huge inconvenience but we made do with the shortage at the time. I really wished I would have made them give me an amended contract or something in writing (stupid me I was getting married and I didn't think they would be so shady). I was charged for the 2 tables (20 heads at $$ a head) that were not received. The worst thing about is that they charged my card for these tables without my consent. I was able to obtain a copy of the charge slip and on top of it they forged my signature! I contested it with Visa but in the end since I did not have a contract showing that the number of tables was changed I was forced to pay the bill. The whole ordeal caused me undue stress ruining the most important day of my life.

Back in March our outdoor wedding venue canceled our wedding due to heavy rain that week. The coordinator from Heidis was a lifesaver and helped us book an entirely new and better wedding venue the week of our wedding. Definitely impressed that she went above and beyond to save our event. I m sure I would not have been able to find a new venue within days without their help.

Heidi's Events catered our Women in Business Conference in May, 2015. This was a 300+ person corporate event with high expectations from the Tempe Chamber of Commerce and the attendees. The service and food were outstanding. Heidi and her staff are attentive, stand by their word, and work tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure that your event runs smoothly. We have used the company before and will not hesitate to do so again in the future. Highly recommended.

Heidi's Events and Catering Venue was definitely the ideal place for our wedding ceremony and reception. The ambiance was very romantic and beautiful, and the facility fit our needs perfectly. The ceremony was magical, and I couldn t have pulled this wedding off during COVID without Jillian Zeeb, Tonya Schmit, Adam Ziminsky, Shelbie Hess and the rest of the dedicated staff members. Jillian was awesome to work with going above and beyond ensuring all of our dreams were realized while coming up with awesome suggestions (that also helped with our budget). Her attention to detail was something that would inspire military generals! Jillian also took it upon herself to arrange our flowers and decorations just the way I envisioned. The food presentation was exquisite, thanks to Adam! The comments we received from our guests was that they felt as if they just dinned at a 5-Star restaurant and a wedding happened to break out! The staff servers were attentive to all the guests needs with the service being top notch. I strongly recommend Heidi's Events and Catering to cater your next event or wedding!

Heidi's Events and Catering was such a wonderful business to work with for our large fundraiser! Obviously, with the pandemic we had to switch things around and Sami and Jillian were able to respond quickly and were so helpful to have everything run smoothly in our planning phase. They even created flyers, pictures, and marketing for us to use. One the day of the event, Heidi and Mike, were punctual and friendly setting up the food. Once set, Heidi ran the food side of our fundraiser perfectly! I really enjoyed working with this company and cannot wait for in-person events to be able to use them again.

Incredible food, service and professionalism. They will be our "go to" for our future events!

I was a guest at an event last night catered by Heidi's, it was the worst food I have seen beside church picnic.
Mexican menu:
Rice... Cold.
Refried beans from a can.
Something called Green Chili Chicken, the chicken was probably cooked 3 days ahead, stale and insipid.
Tortillas right out of the package.
Dried out ground beef for tacos.
And more stuff out of a jar.
It doesn't matter whether your are a top quality caterer or a cheap caterer, take pride and care of the stuff you put out!.....

I hired this place to bartend and 2 servers for my wedding reception in May .

The Bartender was Horrible. The bartender was supposed to serve from 6pm for the cocktail hour to 11pm. Her name was Yvonne and showed up at 6pm and did ZERO preparation and was packed up and ready to go at 1030. Everybody's drinks were warm at the beginning because she didn't show up to prep.

She was slow and rude to our guests. Everybody complained that her mixed drinks were weak the whole night. And I supplied the alcohol, so why was she being stingy?

I did not appreciate having to call the company to ask if anyone was going to show up just before I walked down the aisle. All I got was an answering machine.

She had a tip jar the whole night and then asked for more gratuity from us. It's supposed to be one or the other, not both.

The Servers were outstanding, showed up on time and they didn't need much direction and were very polite and hustled. They were basically awesome.

If you want a place that can plan an event and do it right, its Heidi's Events & Catering! They have so much decor and incredible employees that have super great ideas. Their food is so good and they will always go to the ends of the world to make sure your special event is everything you want it to be. They are definitely worth every penny spent. This is a family owned business and they truly care for their employees and treat them so well.

Heidi's recently catered my cousin's wedding in Northern Arizona, and her staff did an incredible job! Jack, the captain, did an amazing job on-site and ensured that the event ran smooth, and the rest of the staff was extremely friendly and professional. The food was delicious! The bartender, Conor, was amiable and professional, and was pouring like a mad man the whole night! The entire staff was exceptional, especially considering that they were willing to drive 100 miles to cater my cousin's wedding, which we had at our grandmother's cabin. It was a great event, and I know my family, my cousin and her husband, and myself all had an amazing time, which wouldn't have been possible without the staff at Heidis. I would definitely recommened that people give them a try for their next wedding or event.

We recently had our wedding at a venue in Sedona, AZ that required some travel time for the caterer and unfortunately, it didn't go as expected. Prior to the event, we had several meetings to discuss our concerns (tipping, wait lines, adequate staff) only to find that on the day of, all of these became a reality. A majority of the staff present appeared as if they simply didn't want to be there and this was more than evident in their attitude towards the guests and the handling of contractual obligations. Aside from the long wait lines at the serving stations and bar, it took our wedding planner's intervention to ensure champagne was poured and tables were bussed, both obligations of the caterer. With this vendor being the most expensive aspect of the wedding, we were thoroughly disappointed with their performance and would discourage others from considering them on their special day. After the event and numerous conversations with the owner, we were provided a portion of the fees in return for the lack of service. This was a a helpful gesture but if provided the choice, we would have preferred that they simply fulfilled on the promises thus avoiding the situation altogether.

We hired Heidi s Events and Catering for our 225 person plated dinner at Bella Rose Estate. We interviewed 4 catering companies considered top in the valley before choosing Heidi s. Through Heidi s unique, generous and fun monthly open house, we were able to try so many different combinations of main dishes, side dishes and appetizers over a 6 month period and were confident we had made the right choices for the big wedding dinner. Heidi and her team guided us every step of the way. The night of 2/20/15 arrived and Heidi s Events and Catering delivered the most amazing wedding meal ever. I had no less than 30 people come up to me and say it was by far the best wedding dinner they had ever had. The main dishes were out of this world perfect! No small feat when plate serving 225 guests. The side dishes fresh vegetables with herbs directly from their own garden amazing. The scalloped potatoes to die for. The appetizers were all the rave. EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT. Heidi s exceeded our expectations 10 fold. Lastly, the employees of Heidi s cared tremendously about us and our event. They worked so hard from 3p midnight (wedding hours were 4:30-11pm). They were unbelievably polite and provided a level of service that truly was fit for a king and a queen. Our wedding turned out to be the kind fairytale s are made of, the magical fairy Godmother was Heidi Vail, owner of Heidi s Events and Catering and the impeccable food and service gave us the wedding we d always dreamt of; 225 guests, bride and groom, happily ever after.

Heidi's catered both of my daughters' weddings. September 2019 and most recently November 2020. Jillian has been exceptional to work with throughout both of these events to coordinate and make everything work perfectly. The food was fantastic - much better than typical "wedding food" and the menu options are vast. Also very notable was the service aspect. Special requests were noted and honored, staff was friendly and efficient. Highly recommend Heidi's for your event!

First of all, let me start by saying that the service the night of our wedding was great. All three servers were phenomenal and very attentive to our guests. The food was surprisingly yummy and the staff was all extremely friendly, we couldn't have asked for better.
That being said, the service and coordination leading up to the wedding was definitely lacking and made both myself and my husband have feel very little confidence when it came to our catering. We purchased a wedding package with our venue and so our only option was to go with Heidi s. I didn't mind this so much (although my brother-in-law had used them for his wedding and warned us that they felt very budget shamed when they didn't upgrade their food or rent chair covers for their venue), until we went in for our group tasting. On each table for the tasting it was labeled with the couple s name and whether or not they had a package. It was extremely evident that those who had already purchased a package were not being given the same amount of attention as those who were prospects. Our waitress spent very little time with us, our table was crazy wobbly so our drinks kept getting spilled and we waited almost 20 minutes for silverware. Additionally, much of the food available to taste was all upgradable items you had to pay an additional fee for- there were very few things we got to taste which came standard with our package.
Our main contact with the company was difficult to get ahold of and took quite a long time to respond to questions we had. We were given one menu to choose from, then a few months before our wedding this menu was changed and items available to us were significantly decreased (everything we had wanted to choose for our menu was no longer available- very frustrating!). Additionally, I stressed on multiple occasions to her that we had guest coming to the wedding who absolutely must have a gluten free meal (they have diagnosed celiac disease). I was given multiple conflicting answers as to what they were going to be served, and even down to our final day she seemed confused as to which dish would be available to them as a gluten free option. In fact, our entire menu finalization meeting was extremely aggravating because she didn't even come out to greet me until 20 minutes after our scheduled appointment time and I could hear her gossiping with a coworker for this entire time just on the other side of the wall. When I did finally get to sit down with her I was really frustrated that she hadn't even bothered to print out or look over the entire questionnaire I had filled out and sent to her weeks prior, so we sat there for upwards of an hour going through every detail that I had already covered emails before. I even had to keep telling her per my questionnaire as I knew she hadn't even read it.

All in all the day of service was fine, but my advice to Heidi s is to step up the customer service game on the tasting and coordinating side of things. If we weren't required to use this company with our wedding package, I would have gone elsewhere.

We booked them for our wedding and we couldn t be happier! The chicken was delicious and our guests kept telling us how much they loved the food.

Very amazing staff that knows the catering business!

We had a company party for our clients last night - you did an amazing job! Chef Adam was engaging, fun and demonstrated some great cooking ideas!!! This was the best client event we have ever had!!!!

We had no choice to go with Heidi s because it was in our package from our venue. I was worried after reading reviews that it was going to be a bad experience. But it was the opposite. We had a plated dinner and passed hors d oeuvres in our package from our venue. We had Heidi s provide our wedding pie (instead of cake), a hot chocolate and coffee bar, and late night snacks. All our food was absolutely delicious the wait staff were polite and tended to our needs perfectly. They made sure that my husband and I got the hors d oeuvres during our sweetheart photos and also made sure that we got the passed late night snack. The pie table was beautiful and the pies were delicious, I crave our strawberry rhubarb pie. Our hot chocolate and coffee bar was decorated beautifully and was a big hit! Some of our guests commented that it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. Jillian responded to all of my emails and answered all my questions. She was there on my wedding day to set up our displays and everything looked great. We had a great experience working with these caterers on our wedding day.
