Swem library

The library is good with amazing facilities but the only problem is that it s way too cold all the time.

Incredible facilities. They really do the best they can working with a limited budget. Awesome media center and print services. And the archives are mind-blowing.

Has pretty much everything you would want - lots of quiet areas, private rooms, computers. The basement media center has hardware (cameras, microphones, MIDI keyboards) and software (After Effects, Photoshop, Logic Pro X) that you should definitely check out if you come here. Just a modern, comfortable space in general.

I went here and honestly it felt like a U.S. top 6 library. Deserves a 6th star.

An amazing library. A spacious and updated facility full of brilliant employees, I truly believe Swem is among the best collegiate libraries in the US.

What an outstanding library. We needed to do some genealogy research of Virginia Ancestors and the combination of their Virginia stacks, Special Collections and William & Mary document index got us most of what we needed. Librarians were very helpful in pointing us in the right direction. WIFI is free for 24-hours, but the staff can extend that to meet your needs. The library also has free document and book scanners that can create searchable PDFs and save to your USB. And hats off to the W&M students, they are in the library to study and are very quiet.
