One of my favorite places I visit Everytime I am in St. Catherine

Highly recommended to visit this place!!! This is an art industry of Brock. Offering the place for art student to exhibit their works and having place for more citizens learn about art. However, this gallery gonna be shuttered down is not enough people supporting!!! As an art student, I would like that my university having a gallery for our own. As a student that living in St Catharines for years, i think this serious art gallery is necessary for a tourism city. Because there not much landmarks to show the world in the niagara region. Are you hoping that when your generations introduce their home town just Niagara Falls & Casino ??? Pleas save the Rodman Hall !

Was here for the Willow Arts Event and had a blast!

Beautiful place to go on a walk / hike. There is parking located heresnd it is also property of Brock university Art department. They show exhibits here and is really a great place to see.

Took in the afternoon tour - interesting history. The classes for kids looked really fun!

Rodman Hall is such a lovely art gallery in a historic building in a very scenic location on the banks of the Twelve Mile Creek. Hopefully it will remain a public building as the current owner, Brock University, is considering selling it off due to the cost of upkeep. It's a real gem, though, and it would be a shame for St. Catharines to lose this place for public enjoyment.

Historical place for new students, marvelous highly educated professional teaching proffesser, doctors to teach and guide you for your bright future studies. Wonderful graduation ceremony event place. Well organized place for different types of events.
Thanks for the Brock university staff and organizers for the invitation for parents, I have attended on the October 12, 2018 during the graduation ceremony for my son, received the degree in business administration of communication. Congratulations for all other parents and families attended this ceremony for their young kids, received higher degree, in PhD, doctors, master's program education and high achievement award.

Wonderful place that runs art projects for with mental health problems or addictions

This local treasure is not to be missed. It's a little piece of history tucked away in a beautiful nook of St.Catharines. The building itself is a bit dated, but worth visiting. The staff are excellent and friendly. Our child took an art class there and it was excellent as well. Another amazing part of this place is the property itself. The gardens and grounds are beautiful and worth exploring! I hope Rodman Hall stays a part of this city for many years to come!

Definitely worth a visit, and there are trails to walk around the grounds and down to the river.

We attended a celebration of life in one one the private rooms, lovely location. There was a very interesting gallery show there as well.

Great art space and the building alone is worth the visit. Very real looking nature prints and an area of discord that is quite intriguing.

This is a quite tranquilizing place surrounding by a nice stream and up-and-down hill which has various kinds of beautiful flowers, flowering shrubs, and nice trees.

Love the building. I just wish there was more art on display.

Was out for a family walk and ended up here. So amazing and beautiful even in the fall. Love it so much that we changed the date of our wedding to a fall wedding so we can have it here!!!

Very beautiful Victorian manor house with natural botanical garden behind it. Peaceful place to reflect and relax, in the heart of the downtown

The place is a diamond trees and foliage from all over the world. Must see for anyone looking for diversity in plant life

Absolutely beautiful grounds, walking trail and gorgeous plants and flowers.. the art center is in this older building, which is just full of gorgeous creations. I love the building, the folks are just so nice.. great spot for some reflection, very peaceful..

This is an amazing facility with incredible staff! I hope Brock University continues to support this gallery, or hand it to those who wish to retain and enhance it!

I enjoyed my visit here while in the Niagara Falls area. The focus on local art by local artists was fascinating. I also loved the variety between traditional, mixed and digital mediums.

A beautiful estate for sale the arts run by Brock university

In 1856 Thomas Rodman Merritt, the son of the famous canal builder William Hamilton Merritt built a stone house on twenty acres of picturesque land on the edge of downtown St. Catharines. In 1863 the house underwent renovations and a major addition was added. It came to be known as Rodman Hall. To develop the landscape surrounding the manor, Merritt hired an English gardener by the name of Samuel Richardson. Richardson developed a wonderful garden featuring well kept lawns, exotic trees, fountains, borders and a terraced garden on the hillside leading down to the Twelve Mile Creek. He also built a display green house, an extensive kitchen garden and orchard. The Merritts and Richardson were able to see the garden mature into magnificence over a period of five decades.

Best place ever to visit. The grounds are spectacular. Go for a walk or bike on the Laura Secord trail. It's amazing.

I love Rodman Hall. I've been there countless times, the art gallery always has fantastic exhibits and the staff if so friendly, accommodating and helpful. Beautiful garden too when the weather's nice.

Absolutely beautiful setting for a meeting or event. A great space for a round table discussion or presentation. The City of St. Catharines hosted a business delegation from Poland and the space was perfect. The classic look of Rodman hall and the easy connect to tech made this a wonderful environment to host guests from a classic European country. We may be young but we do have beautiful old buildings like Rodman Hall to offer a sense of home to our guests.

Took my 6 year old there for March break camp. The experience is unbelievable and the skills learned necessary

My photography class had an exhibit here. The staff was wonderful and helped us every step of the way. Rodman Hall is a beautiful environment to have the photos displayed. I would defiantly come back.
