Bought an amazing EVH guitar from these folks, simply because of the way I was treated. I innocently stopped in to check them out while visiting Fort Wayne after work. I was treated like royalty from the moment I set foot in the building. From the demo to delivery, every step was handled with amazing communication and service. Jimmy is an amazing sales person. Will only buy my musical equipment from Sweetwater from here on out!

beyond top notch! my experience was a total shoc,k,, i ordered a bass guitar overdrive pedal online at their site, I had no clue what i was looking at or the difference in the dozens available, my customer service professional was just that; PROFESSIONAL but very patient and willing to talk me through the entire deal, i even called the 800 umber expecting to be lost in a que, but got connected immediately to a very knowledgeable excited young man who LISTENED TO ME! as i explained i was looking for a birthday gift for my son's 18th birthday who has just begun learning to play bass,,, I explained i am disabled and on a very fixed, meager income, and i know nothing about guitars or gear just that he has been upset about the sound/tones his playing was producing versus the people he had been trying to learn from and emulate their sounds, my rep proceeded to list possible fixes for altering the tone and shear volume of some of the great bassists, I knew only that my son had a bass guitar, an old amp,and a 4 by 12 speaker cabinet, right off the bat he very confidently told me that in order to get the ind of heavy rock bass tones/sound i was looking for , I must get my boy what i now know is called a bass guitar OVERDRIVE/DISTORTION PEDAL to go inline between bass and amp.... I was kinda freaking out , I just knew it would set me back a weeks groceries and medicine, however,,, my super account rep dug around in their "catalog" and found me the shock and awe of my online dealer experiences,,,, I now have a very nice bass overdrive pedal on its way to be wrapped up for my awesome son's birthday gift and,,,,,, for the outrageous price of 25.00 he even found a promo for free free free fed ex shipping so i will get it at my door on friday 4/26,,, btw today is wed 4/24!! An unexpected pleasure. I went expecting a store attached to a warehouse and this place is much more than that. All kind of things for musicians to do, all kinds of things for regular people to do.

They have a cafeteria, an arcade, a giant slide, and even live music on occasion for all us normies. They have green rooms, small museums, the store, a warehouse overlook for music fans.

A great place to stop and check out if you are in the area, even if you don't really have a reason to stop and check it out.

Love this place! Best gear, sound equipment, etc. Good place for lunch too.

Pretty cool. Slide is closed because of the coronavirus, so don't go just for the slide right now. The food looked good and cheap, but I didn't eat any because I was full. The actual musicy stuff looked nice. I'm sure other people have some more informed opinions on that. The building is very large and looks cool. The landscaping is nice if you're into that.

Almost don't want to share... Super cool place if you're into music making or just appreciating our home town. Adam rocked our tour !

On a scale of 1 to 5, I would give them a 10! Seriously, they are THAT great to work with. I was shocked when after placing one tiny item, I got a phone call from Jacob thanking me, and asking me if I needed any other assistance or answers with anything. The second order was also small. And once again, a thank you email and call from Jacob to make sure that what I had ordered from them so far met my needs. No retailer, much less any online retailer, has ever gone above and beyond that way before. Yesterday, I placed another order, somewhat larger, but not huge -- and got the same treatment. In every case, no matter how small the order, I was treated as though I was the buyer of a $2000 guitar. That kind of genuine customer care means everything. Then I had a question about a guitar, and again I got a very quick and thorough response. I felt like even after the second call, Jacob remembered me, and treated me as though I was their best customer.

And I should point out that their shipping was way faster than I expected, just a few hours after I placed the order. It was like someone went right to the back room and packed it up as soon as I hit the enter key.

When my situation (and my progress!) changes to where I upgrade instruments, and I can buy that $2000 new guitar, it will definitely be Sweetwater that I go to. Without any doubt. They have proven to me that EVERY customer counts to them, before and after the sale. That is the kind of place I want to buy from. And the added candy with each order is a very nice touch!

Sweetwaters Music here in Fort Wayne Indiana is the best Music store ever, every instrument there is reasonable and if you can't pay for the whole price they have payment plans and other ways you can pay that's affordable. The staff are very polite respectful and professional with everything, and my salesman Chris Sanders is the best. Thanks Sweetwaters for everything!!!!!!

Absolutely the best place to audition and purchase guitars!

This is how buying a guitar online should be. I ordered a new Epiphone Les Paul Custom on their website. Prior to buying, they had photos and info on the actual guitar that I was buying. Within hours of clicking purchase I got a call from Alan, my sales engineer. He called to follow up and confirm all of the details I had entered to make sure I got my guitar. He commended me on a great selection and shared his enthusiasm for the instrument. Then, he texted me and opened a text conversation for any questions I might have. Within a week and perfectly on time, my new guitar arrived to my door. Exactly as advertised and even in tune. I honestly didn t know there were any online retailers of ANYTHING offering this level of customer service. Needless to say I ll be buying here exclusively from now on, especially since their prices somehow match their competitors (like Guitar Center) that come nowhere close in terms of customer experience.

Interesting place. Food was average for cafeteria. Very convenient. Spaces were well kept and maintained.

Excellent customer service. I had a home audio project that I could not find a solution to but their service tech gave very helpful advice and my only problem was that I was using the wrong cables. Sweetwater s cables worked great

After 25 years of buying and selling music gear, I've decided that Sweetwater is the very best place to buy gear online. They go above and beyond with great customer service and assign a dedicated customer service rep to each person. I think this is great, and I've noticed that the competition is just now trying to replicate that. I'd give them 6 stars if I could just because they send candy!

This is a place you want to go to, it's a musicians mall . They even have a little dining area with chairs where you can sit and grab a bite and maybe coffee or something small drink and a place to give lessons and of course other shops and small kayak in the area but generally it's a musicians Mall and if you have a time you should really go there. I get calls occasionally from their salesman to ask me if everything is going well and there's anything I need as a musician. they seem to know what they're doing and I appreciate the calling even though I know it's a sales call. I found their prices are very reasonable, unusual for such a large store, and I'll go there again and I'll probably buy things from them. I have a good feeling about this

Sweetwater is an excellent company whose people make it excellent. Randy Akins is my personal contact and after dealing directly with him for many years now, for both church and personal items, I count him a friend who isn't just trying to sale me an item, but provides personal advice, opinions and ensures that I am satisfied with the purchase. It would be difficult to find this type of personal asssistance from another pro music company of any size.

Pretty much the Amazon of music gear. The actual store inside isn't that big, but the warehouse has literally anything you can find in their online store.

I m not one to leave reviews but this company has been top notch! After I placed my order I received a phone call thanking me for the order. Order arrived 3 days later with a thank you pamphlet, a sticker, and a few pieces of candy. That s a lot of effort for a $23 item.

Wow! Phenomenal service! Just when you think true customer-oriented service is dead, Sweetwater proves there are still businesses out there that really care! We had a mic clip come up missing right before our Sunday evening service, I wasn't even sure I could just order a clip but I Googled it and Sweetwater was the first ad that popped up so I tried it. I am so glad I did! Not only did I receive a phone call from Michael the next day (letting me know it was already shipped and what to do if it wasn't the right one), but I also received the new clip before our Wednesday evening service!

Sweetwater Sound is consistently the most helpful sound/music place that I deal with. Their sales engineers are helpful and competent, and they care about your problem as if it were their own. I don't ever want to deal with another supplier of audio products. Forget the internet - the small price differential that these guys charge is worth it!

It's amazing when a business owner decides to be a living part of the community. The amount of FREE indoors fun you can have with all the games here is amazing. Wow, we were impressed with every part of our visit, we bought a guitar and had lunch at their cafe, walked around and checked out the memorabilia. ..we drove 325 miles and IT was worth it...very positive first visit also easy to get to as was all highway driving for us....

The Sweetwater building is not just a store, it is a whole campus inside. There is the store, but also a large cafeteria where the public and the employees can dine. There are lecture spaces where they host classes, warehouse space for their inventory, offices for staff, a slide from the second floor down to the first, instrument repair places, somewhere to leave your kids while you shop, recording studios...all sorts of things! The building is environmentally conscious and a LEED-certified Platinum facility. And I haven't even gotten to the instrument and gear quality yet...it's good.

GearFest is an impressive event: vendor demos, sale deals, chance meetings with Pete Thorn, Brian Wampler, Robert Keeley... The only downside: there are so many people -- 17,000 Friday + Saturday -- that it's difficult to get into the free seminars. Happily, was able to get into the session by Josh Scott of JHS -- and it was excellent.

I have been a customer since 2018. Chris Leonard has been my sales representative with every order. Chris & his staff have top notch customer service & always make sure items are in good shape & that I am satisfied with every order. I would recommend Sweetwater, Chris, & his staff to any friend or stranger who is looking for online or in store music equipment. (Fort Wayne IN is the closest in store location to me.)
